Steve Carell's best movie. A dysfunctional family brought together by the little girl. Characters with different problems of their own on a journey together. Great actors. Subtle humor and touching scenes. What's not to like?

I can't believe I kept postponing watching this one. This movie probably has the most unforgettable ensemble cast ever. It is a great comedy film with subtle humor and a couple of laugh-out-loud scenes. It also has very interesting and complex characters and good music.

The divorce has deeply affected each family member and even other people in different ways. The script is very well-done and the characters are so messed-up yet so realistic. Walt misses the good old days as he stares at the squid and the whale. There are some disturbing content in this film. Nonetheless, the film is quite hilarious and entertaining.

Who is to blame for the tragic turn of events? The strict and conversative parents? The young boy whom Cecilia had a crush on? The jerk who left Lux after having sex with her? No one knows as the story is shown in the perspective of the boys next door. The movie is a very depressing and mysterious one with stunning visuals and great music.

Let's learn to appreciate life more and let's try harder to notice the beautiful things in this world. The movie is kind of dark but the unpredictable ending totally made up for it. I must say that it has one of the most satisfactory yet saddest endings ever.

The cooking in the beginning of the film just made me hungry and craving for gourmet food. The three sisters and their father are all lovable, and there are huge character developments even with the minor characters. This film is great drama with some humor. Ang Lee should really do more movies like this.

It is very eccentric and disturbing at times. It has realistic, interesting and messed-up characters. There are a lot of unforgettable scenes in this film, and there is one scene that I particularly love: the one where most of the characters seem to be mad and frustrated.

Three brothers go to a spiritual journey when they aren't even honest to each other and seem to be strangers to one another. I love this movie, probably more than The Royal Tenenbaums and Life Aquatic. The cinematography, the music and the color design are just awesome. Wes Anderson's use of subtle humor and quirky characters is still there.

I love how Margot's pink hat just stands out. The film is very confusing at times and has a very ambiguous ending but it has a lot of things going on with its complex and eccentric characters with indescribable qualities. Noah Baumbach is probably only one of the few directors capable of creating very messed-up yet sympathetic characters and highly dysfunctioncal families.

This is even way better than Donnie Darko. It has a great ensemble cast with each character having a role in the end. Too bad, it only gets better in its climax. Every situation in the story really shows the lack of communication and closeness between parents and their children. There are also some hilarious scenes.

This movie is definitely underrated as I think it is the funniest and most entertaining movie this year. It's a great satirical film with a few parodies and pop cultural references. I just can't get enough of the most dysfunctional family ever seen in TV, the Simpsons family.

The movie has a common yet great message. The ending is truly satisfying and well done. Jojo's acting is fine, I guess, and Robin Williams does good movies from time to time. The movie is not extremely funny and there is one disgusting and disturbing scene but the ending is what I really like in this movie.
