The Italian scenery is incredible and would make anyone fall in love with Italy. I have always loved watching movies filmed in Italy. Italy is a lot more romantic than Paris. Ahhh bellissimo.....

Roman Holiday (1953,  Unrated)
Roman Holiday
My very 1st Hepburn movie and I have been a fan of her work ever since. She is very charming and delightful as Princess Ann. A comedy classic thats to be watched over and over. I also like the glorious cineamtography, it was filmed in Rome and after viewing this. I wanted to run out and buy a Vespa scooter

I am not even sure why I dig this movie. I suppose it is because Hilary Duff was so sweet and wholesome and it was filmed in Rome.

The Godfather, Part II (1974,  R)
The Godfather, Part II
"Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" Just as compelling as the first. What a stunning sequel to Coppola's Oscar-winning, 1972 hit film. Pacino and De Niro, the 2 legends and I love them both. Robert De Niro did most of his dialogues in Italian and he was fantastic, he deserved that Oscar. The Godfather movie has it all ,loyalty, passion, greed, brutality, ambition and most importantly of all honour. By far the greatest sequel ever made in movie making history.

Van Helsing (2004,  PG-13)
Van Helsing
Whirlwind action!! All the classic monsters of the 30s and 40s are in this film. The transformation scenes are lush and gothic. The plot is simple and full of flaws but watch it for the action. Its a ticket to having a good time.
52
Angels & Demons (2009,  PG-13)
Angels & Demons
Tom Hanks reprises the lead role of Robert Langdon. I suppose for those who had read the novel by Dan Brown, would be a tad disappointed that some interesting parts are missing.
Ewan McGregor performance here happens to be one of the highlights of the film for me. The other would be that it was shot in Italy. I happen to love Italy!
53
Pink Panther 2 (2009,  PG)
Pink Panther 2
Growing up, pink panther was one of my beloved cartoons. I saw the first one back in 2006, found it to be quite a disappointment and now this one, this awful sequel, I watched with lowest expectations. The plot is predictable and the dialogue are downright ridiculous. Steve Martin is just not funny anymore. His french accent is just annoying.
54
Inkheart (2009,  PG)
Inkheart
Maybe it is not fair to rate this movie without reading the book first. Apparently the book by Cornelia Funke is very good, this movie falls flat in spite of all the promising casts and wondrous special effects

When in Rome (2010,  PG-13)
56
The Wings of the Dove (1997,  R)
57
