The Breakfast Club (1985, R)
Spectacular! The best Brat Pack and teen movie from the Eighties. Virtually everyone can relate to one of the characters in this movie. If only all people were required to be isolated with others who are "different" than themselves, maybe the world could be a little better than it is. |

This movie that is very touching. I can never pin down exactly what about it is so to me, but it's one of my middle favorites. |

The Goonies (1985, PG)
An Eighties classic that virtually no one can not love. The characters are so unique and varied, more so than most movies nowadays. Add in every kid's fantasy of treasure hunting that results in plenty of action and comedy and you have a defining film of the Eighties. This movie never gets old for me. |
