An emotional drama that leaves you shaken, I've only been able to see it once, it was so gripping. Its rich in depth and the story just moves you to tears. I truly recommend this anime to everyone, even those who are not fond of anime.

Disturbing to the core. Bruno Ganz does Hitler so real, you feel you are really watching Hitler himself. A must watch. One of the most powerful movies I've ever seen.

Gripping, incredibly powerful movie. I recommend it to everyone, although one should first read the book. I did, and I see that a lot of detail has been removed for the movie, and its such a fantastic book.

Superb acting from Casey Affleck, and I hope see more directing from Ben Affleck.
