Plot:
The year is 1936. Archeology professor Indiana Jones narrowly escapes death in a South American temple with a gold idol - by poison dart, fall, and finally a giant boulder that chases him out the front. An old enemy, Rene Belloq, steals the idol and then orders Hovito indians after Indy. Indy, however, escapes back to the USA, where Army Intelligence officers are waiting for him at his university. They tell him about a flurry of Nazi archaeological activity near Cairo, which Indy determines to be the possible resting place of the Ark of the Covenant - the chest that carried the 10 Commandments. The Ark is believed to carry an incredibly powerful energy that must not fall into Nazi hands. Indiana is immediately sent overseas, stopping in Nepal to pick up an old girlfriend Marion Ravenwood and then meeting up in Cairo with his friend Sallah.
Review:
With no doubt one of the greatest movies of all time and an absolutely phenomenal film.More than just a tribute to the 1930´s adventure serials,Raiders of the Lost Ark changed the adventure genre forever.I watched Raiders back at 2005 on DVD and it become my all favorite movie.Personally,no movie will beat this classic in my opinion and Raiders of the Lost Ark has everything i love in a movie:action, comedy, great scenes and a memorable character. This is the movie that will never die.
Raiders introduced to the world one of the most iconic heroes of cinema history:Indiana Jones, the daredevil and charming archaeologist who travels around the world to find legendary artefacts and at the same time gets into the most incredibles but dangerous situations.
Harrison Ford delivers a great perfomance as Indiana Jones. He was meant to play Indy.Ford gives the attitude, the personality and the charm that made Indy a legend and he also gives humanity to him on making his laughable fobhia of snakes very realistic.I love Harrison as Indy more than as Han Solo of Star Wars because he ´s so cool and he always gets in very diferent situations.Ford is legendary and Indiana Jones was really made for him. I love Karen Allen as Marion Ravenwood because she is the only woman that can handle Dr.Jones.Allen is a great actress and very strong as well.Paul Freeman is excellent as Indy s arch-nemesis Rene Belloq. What i love about Belloq is he knows Indy better than noboby and he ´s always one step of him.Belloq is the best villain of the series along Irina Spalko of the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.Ronald Lacey is preety damn scary as Toth,John Rhys Davies is so funny as Sallah and the late great Denholm Elliot is unforgettable as Marcus Brody.
Steven Spielberg´s direction made this movie a instant classic.I´m a huge of him since ever and he created such iconic scenes as the famous boulder chase which is the best action sequence of all time and my favorite scene ever.
The sequels may be good but Raiders is where everything starts.Like a rollercoaster,Raiders of the Lost Ark doesn´t stop every second and offers the audience a great time. The greatest action-adventure masterpiece of cinematic history, the adventure has now a real name:Indiana Jones.

Plot:
After years of diplomatic silence between the United States and Cuba, Castro opens the port of Mariel Harbor, Cuba, to thousands emmigrating to the United States in search of the American dream. Shrewdly, Castro also unlocks the overpacked prisons, allowing hordes of criminals to join the refugees. Tony Montana, a small time hood, is one of them. In Florida, Montana connects with gangster Frank Lopez, and guns his way through the sun washed streets of Miami where he finds power, wealth and passion. He kills Lopez and marries his mistress, Elvira. Montana, better known as "Scarface," soon becomes the leader of a bloody cocaine-smuggling empire but at a terrible cost to his sister, Gina and his loyal friend, Manny. However, like that of others before him, Montana's reign is brief and a violent end is guaranteed as rival gangster compete to become the next drug lord.
Review:
No movie has made a massive impact on myself like Scarface when i first saw it back in 2004.This is absolutely one of the greatest movies of all time and one of my personal favorites actually.Based on the 1932 gangster movie with the same name and directed by Howard Hawks, this version is even more violent and updated but briliantly directed by Brian DePalma with a intense script by Oliver Stone.Scarface is simply phenomenal and one of the greatest classics of gangster movies.
Al Pacino delivers a amazing and oustanding perfomance as the ruthless and psychotic cuban gangster Tony Montana which according to Pacino,he was inspired from the original version.Tony Montana is one of the coolest and bad ass movie characters of all time because he´s very honest and loyal to his balls and word but his greed takes him to extreme actions that could make his own destruction.Pacino was phenomenal in the movie and perhaps the role is the most popular role of his career. Not a bad debut for Michelle Pheiffer. She was bloody gorgeous but i still prefer her in Batman Returns. One of the actors i liked the most was Paul Shenar as Alejandro Soza. What i like about Soza is that he´s a respectable buissenessman but he´s one relentess bastard if some one tries to double cross him.One of the scenes that i don t like at all is when Tony kills his best friend Manny right in front of her sister.I mean is shocking because i would never kill my best friend.
Brian DePalma is one of the greatest directors ever. His technique of filmmaking reminded me of Sergio Leone´s style specially in the close ups to the character´s face but he created a one hell of a epic gangster movie just like the Untouchables.25 years after the release,Scarface changed the culture forever and inspired a lot of hip hop stars to do whatever it takes to get to the top.
One of the greatest movies of all time,Scarface taught me a very important lesson:The World is Yours.A oustanding masterpiece of cinema that will live on forever in the history of cinema.

Review:
What a amazing movie and one of my personal favorites of all time.Die Hard is definelty a masterpiece and a explosive adrenaline rush masterpiece that grabs you every second of it.20 years later,it still kicks butt and is a lot better than those CGI craps of today.Die Hard is such a thrilling ride and the sequels may good but this is in my opiinion the grandaddy of action movies.
Bruce Willis delivers an oustanding perfomance as John McClane and he s not your regular killing machine like Schwarzenegger or Stallone.McClane is a regular guy like everybody and nothing goes right in his life.He s scared of flying, his marriage has collapsed and he s not dressed for the christimas party at the Nakatomi Plaza.I love Willis as McClane because he makes him such a nice guy but at same time heroic and a complete badass.Even in the moments of tension,John maintains his sarcasm and sense of humour aswell, which will be his trademark along the series.McClane will wish to spend a nice Christmas at home.Alan Rickman dominates the entire movie as Hans Gruber.I had no idea that was him when i first saw the movie but wow Rickman was phenomenal.Hans Gruber isn t the typical villain actually. He s just a guy with ambitions and he also has a sinister sense of humour.Rickman will go down to history as one of the greatest cinematic villains of all time.
John McTiernan directed the film with brilliance and control, estabilshing a great revolution in action movies.Die Hard gives a great balance between the action and comedy and few movies weren´t able to do it.
If you want a good example of an excellent action movie,Die Hard is the one.The greatest action movie of all time and also a classic of it´s own,Die Hard sets a new generation of action movies and deserves to be at the list as one of my all time favorite movies.

Plot:
Ellen Ripley, the sole survivor of the alien attack on the mining ship Nostromo, awakens half a century later when she is found by a salvage ship. The welcome given to her by the "Company" officials is far from warm, since they refuse to believe her discovery of alien existence and strip her off her flight officer's license. Ripley also discovers, much to her horror, that the planet LV-426 where her crew had encountered an alien species for the first time, is now colonized by the company. But when all contact from the planet is lost Ripley is called back into action again as an advisor to a team of tough space marines with lots of firepower. To get rid of her recurrent nightmares about the alien creature, Ripley prepares for a final battle with the monsters - and this time, there are hundreds of them out there.
Review:
This time,it s war!!There are few sequels on movie history that can be even better than the original and Aliens is the right example.I always loved this movie because is an amazing classic and a an oustanding improvement of the original movie directed by Ridley Scott in 1979.While Alien is a scary space horror movie,Aliens is a spectcular space action movie with adrenaline, intensity and brilliance aswell. This is one of the best action movies of all time and one of the greatest sequels of movie history.
Sigourney Weaver delivers an excellent and improved perfomance as Ellen Ripley. She looks even better than in the first movie.Sigourney is one of the greatest actresses of all time and she s the original action lady of Hollywood.Ripley is one of my favorite movie heroes because she dominates a genre dominated by men but she left her mark as the most iconic female hero of all time.Ripley is much stronger in this movie because the events of the first movie affect her mentally but she faces her own fear like she knows best.Sigourney became a icon thanks to Ripley.Michael Biehn was great as Corporal Hicks but i like him more in The Terminator,Bill Paxton is soo cool as Hudson. He s the most coolest character of the entire movie and Jennette Goldstein is a badass as Vasquez.Carrie Hehn is so adorable as Newt and i love the scenes with her and Ripley .And of course, the aliens were fantastic and this movie marks the first appearence of the Alien Queen.
James Cameron is indeed one of the greatest directors of all time.He really directs Aliens with his signature and he makes a bigger and better movie than in the first one.Cameron is one of the best reasons that i love this movie and his other movies aswell and he will bring another masterpiece with Avatar.
Aliens is one of my all time favorite movies and is better than those CGI craps of today.23 years later after it s release,Aliens is one of the greatest action sci fi movies of all time and a timeless masterpiece.Cameron rules!!!!

James Gordon and newly appointed District Attorney Harvey Dent. But a new threat has now emerged into the streets. The Dark Knight faces a rising psychopathic criminal called The Joker, whose eerie grin, laughter, and inhuman morality makes him as dangerous than what he has yet to unleash. It becomes an agenda to Batman to stop the mysterious Joker at all costs, knowing that both of them are in an opposite line. One has no method at all and seeks to see the world plunge into the fire he has yet to light. One represents the symbol of hope and uses his own shadow to bring the peace and order he has yet to accomplish doing.
Review:
I was very excited to see The Dark Knight because i enjoyed Batman Begins and it was great to see my favorite superhero back to the big screen in a huge way.I also was curious about Heath Ledger s perfomance as The Joker right after his shocking death. After i walked to the cinema,i wasn t excepting The Dark Knight to a be an oustanding masterpiece. This movie was definetly 2008 s best movie and puts other comic book movies to the shame because not only sets a new standard in the comic book genre but is such a phenomenal movie .This is the Batman i wanted to see and deserves to be on the list of the greatest movies of all time.
Christian Bale delivers once again a excellent perfomance as Batman/Bruce Wayne. His perfomance was fantastic, showing a more darker and tortured Batman while he tries to end crime in Gotham City and the same time his presence atracts a lot of freaks like the Joker.Bale is by far the best actor playing Batman since Michael Keaton and he is simply phenomenal.Heath Ledger (Rest in Peace)was absolutely amazing and phenomenal as The Joker.Ledger delivers one of the greatest and the most legendary perfomances of all time.He shows a Joker like we have never seen before:a dangerous ,maniacal and phsycotic criminal who doesn´t care about the money and also takes Batman to the limit. No disrepect for Jack Nicholson but Ledger gives here his finest perfomance ever and he totally deserved the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. And of course the rest of the cast were amazing including Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent aka Two Face and the lovely Maggie Gyllenhall as Rachel Dawes. She was way better than Katie Holmes.
Christopher Nolan is an amazing director. He has not done a bad movie yet and thank god for that.Nolan made a film much darker than the previous one and the script is amazing and of course maintains the spirit of the comic books.
The Dark Knight is one of the best movies i ever seen in my life and i m so proud of this movie just i m proud of Batman Begins and honeslty is very superior to Tim Burton s version. The Dark Knight proves that Batman is truly back and better than never.Thank Nolan and Bale and RIP Heath Ledger.

Three years after the destruction of the death Star, Imperial forces have since driven the Rebels to hide on the ice world Hoth. But even on such an icy, backwater world, they cannot escape the wicked Darth Vader's eye for long, and he devastates the Rebel base in an assault with the horrible AT-AT walkers. Luke flees to Dagobah to begin Jedi Knight training with Yoda, while Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO run the blockade of Imperial Star Destroyers in the Millenium Falcon. The Imperials pursue them across the galaxy and eventually catch up with them at Bespin. Now Darth Vader plans to use them as bait to lure Luke Skywalker to him, and turns Han Solo over to Boba Fett as a prize to be delivered to crime lord Jabba the Hutt. Luke learns a terrible family. secret after losing a swordfight with Vader.
Review:
In 1977,Star Wars changed cinema forever and became a worldwide phenomenon.Now,3 years later, the battle between the Empire and the Rebel Aliance continues in The Empire Strikes Back, the second installement of the legendary space adventure trilogy. This was the first Star Wars movie i ve ever seen and made me enjoy the series.Empire is very different for the previous movie because while the first movie was a enjoyable space adventure movie, this one is very dark, strong and very emotional which are the factors i love in this amazing movie.
Mark Hamill gives a more mature perfomance as Luke Skywalker and he left his innocence behind thanks to the moments that will change him forever like his beggining of his Jedi training with Yoda and his first confrontation with Darth Vader.Harrison Ford brings once again his coolness on Han Solo but at same time gives such a great perfomance like always does. Before the massive impact of Indiana Jones in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark,Ford left his mark on Star Wars and he´s the real hero of the series in my opinion.Carrie Fisher was absolutely stunning as Princess Leia but at same time very emotional.Frank Oz makes his first appearence in the series as one of the most important characters of the movie:Yoda, the legendary Jedi master that will train Luke for the the final battle against the Sith.Billy Dee Williams was great as Lando Carlissian but i didn t like when he double crossed Han Solo but David Prowse dominates as Darth Vader along James Earl Jones s fantastic voice.Vader is obessed to take Luke to the Dark Side of the Force and even with his shocking revelation,it wasn t enough to Luke accept to join Vader.Vader is one of the greatest cinematic villains of all time and he proves it in the movie.
Irvin Kershner directed masterfully the movie that the way George Lucas couldn´t never do and the script was well made. The Empire Strikes Back has the most emotional and memorable scenes of the entire series including when Leia says:´ I love you´and Han responds:´ I know´,which is such a beautifull moment of the movie and Darth Vader´s shocking revelation as Luke´s father, which is the best scene of the movie.
Personally,no other Star Wars movie can beat the Empire Strikes Back because is and still is the best Star Wars movie of all time and an excellent improvement of the original movie.Masterpiece.
Director:Ridley Scott Cast:Harrison Ford,Sean Young,Rutger Hauer,Edward James Olmos,Joe Turkel Genre:Science Fiction Year of release:1982 Running Time:112 minutes
Plot: Advances in genetic technology have allowed scientists to create sophisticated biologically-engineered humanoid beings called "replicants". Following a violent revolt that takes place "off world," replicants are declared illegal on Earth. In Los Angeles, November 2019, Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is called out of retirement when a fellow Blade Runner, Holden (Morgan Paull) is shot administering a Voight-Kampff test to Leon (Brion James), an escaped replicant. A reluctant Deckard is brought to his old boss Bryant (M. Emmet Walsh), who informs him that the recent escape of Nexus-6 replicants is the worst yet. He orders Deckard to eliminate the four replicants, a process referred to as "retirement".
Review: Blade Runner is one of the movies that changed my life forever. This futuristic thriller became one of the most influential movies not only of science fiction but of cinematic history, inspiring other movies like The Matrix and The 5th Element.I first watched Blade Runner when i was a kid.I didn t understand the story but the darkness and the visual effects grabed me a lot. Some people don t understand Blade Runner but i now understand the message of the film.Is about being human and what makes us being human, showing the dark side of humanity.Blade Runner remains a timeless classic that will never die.
Harrison Ford delivers a fantastic perfomance as Deckard, the ex-cop who is asigned to kill fugitve replicants.Ford confessed that Blade Runner is the most complicated movie he s ever done in his brilliant career.Deckard is very different from Han Solo and Indiana Jones but Harrison nailed the part perfectly. He gives such a charm and vulnerability to Deckard that makes his perfomance very realistic. For me,is Harrison s best perfomance and i couldn t imagine this movie without him.Sean Young is absolutely stunning as Rachael and her perfomance is preet decent. She s a mystery in the beggining because we question if she s or not a replicant. The chemistry between Deckard and Rachael is really electrifying and a must see aswell.Rutger Hauer is the best actor in the movie with his fantastic perfomance as the leader of the replicants,Roy Batty. That perfomance is truly deserfull of a Oscar.Hauer dominates the movie specially in his remarkable speech in the ending, probably one of the best endings ever made.Edward James Olmos didn t show up a lot but his presence is very powefull and so his perfomance. We also see Daryl Hannah for the first time as Pris but she was even better in Kill Bill,
Ridley Scott directs his most remarkable masterpiece, setting a new standard in science fiction just like he did with Alien in 1979.Scott directs masterfully this movie, showing a darker side of his personality that i could feel.Blade Runner shows how great director Ridley Scott is and he showed it with Thelma and Louise and Gladiator.
Blade Runner will go down in history as one of the greatest masterioieces of science fiction along 2001,Star Wars and Alien. This is such a phenomenal movie that will live on forever no matter how many years.Thank you Ridley Scott on creating one of the greatest movies of all time.Masterpiece.

Sarah, John, and the Terminator counter by going after the scientist responsible for developing Skynet, the computer system fated to destroy humanity, leading to an explosive and spectacular clash with the fate of humanity in the balance.
Review:
Back in 1984,The Terminator became one of the biggest classics of science fiction and turned Arnold Schwarzenegger and director James Cameron to superstars.7 years after the first movie, the war against the machines continues in Terminator 2:Judgement Day,the follow up of the 1984 classic.I first watched T2 when i was 6 years old and is very special to me because is one of the most phenomenal, spectacular and brilliant movies ever made, proving to be by far more superior than the original.Where many sequels failed,T2 prevailed with a better storyline, improved special effects and amazing action and intensity.Terminator 2:Judgement Day is one of those movies that is impossible to beat.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is back(like he promised)as The Terminator but this time he s sent to protect the Connors.Arnold has proven that he s the greatest action hero of all time and he proves once again with his fantastic perfomance as Terminator.Like in the original,he s still deadly and unstoppable but he becomes more connected with the humans.Arnold is in my opinion the heart and soul of the series and he will always be the Terminator.Linda Hamilton also returns as a much stronger and tougher Sarah Connor and boy her perfomance is amazing.Sarah changed a lot since she survived the attack of the first Terminator and the birth of her son John. She looked like a pshyco in th beggining of the film but she becomes much stronger and determined to protect her son and gain his love.Linda was phenomenal and she was way better than in the first movie.Robert Patrick dominates the movie as T-1000.This new terminator is much deadlier and unstoppable than his predecesscor and looks preety undestructable.T-1000 s mission is to kill John Connor and nothing will stop him to achieve his goal.Edward Furlong was awesome as John Connor. He reminded me a little of Bart Simpson because of his sense of humour.Ed s perfomance was great because John is practically a target before he was born and becomes very strong to fullfill his destiny.
James Cameron delivers another spectacular ride like he knows best.Cameron is the only man who directed two sequels that are better than their predecessors(like Aliens). The action sequences are the best ever made in a movie and nobody knows action better than Mr.Cameron.
Terminator 2:Judgement Day is one of the greatest action movies of all time and a oustanding masterpiece and a excelent follow up of the first movie but way better than Rise of the Machines and Salvation.Masterpiece of James Cameron

Review:
Kill Bill was the movie that the movie fans were waiting back in 2003 because is Tarantino s fourth movie. When i first watched Kill Bill,i wasn t suprised on liking it because is a masterpiece and i m a huge fan of Tarantino.Kill Bill is such a spectacular and bloddy story of a woman who seeks revenge of those who left her to die.Very influenced by the martial arts of 70 s(specially by Bruce Lee movies),Kill Bill is one of the best action movies i ve ever seen in my life.
I absolutely loved Uma Thurman with her fantastic perfomance as The Bride. The Bride reminded of Clint Eastwood s Blondie in The Good,The Bad and the Ugly because she s a mysterious character.Uma is way better in Kill Bill than in Pulp Fiction because she really kicks ass in this movie.Probably her defining role.Lucy Liu was another sexy and deadly babe as O-Ren-Ishii,The Bride s first traget.I loved the scene where she cut the headed of one of the mob bosses. She was absolutely fantastic,at least better than in Charlie s Angels.Other actors were fantastic including Michael Madsen as Bud,Darryl Hannah was awesome as Elle Drive and of course the return of legendary actor David Carradine with his fantastic perfomance as Bill,The Bride s mentor and final target.
Quentin Tarantino delivers another great masterpiece.Like i said before,Tarantino is a genious and has proved with Reservoir Dogs,Pulp Fiction,Jackie Brown and the upcoming Inglorious Basterds. The action fight scenes are spectacular specially the famous showdown between The Bride and Crazy 88.
Kill Bill:Volume 1 is one of Tarantino s best movies along Pulp Fiction and a masterpiece of action movies. One of the greatest movies of 2003 along The Lord of the Rings:The Return of the King.

Review:
All i got to say is:oh my god, what a movie. This is most spectacular, brilliant and influential western movie of all time with non-stop action and legendary perfomances.I was never a huge fan of westerns(just my father)but after i watched The Good,The Bad and the Ugly,i got hooked to Spaghetti Westerns, the genre created by the legendary Sergio Leone. The unique style and visual of this movie influenced a lot of directors including Robert Rodriguez with Desperado and Quentin Tarantino with Kill Bill vol 1 and 2 but can never be equal to the master that is Leone.
Clint Eastwood was absolutely amazing in the movie. He took once again his immortal role of Blondie, the most relentess and toughest gunfighter of the West. This is the role that made Eastwood the living legend that he is today, inspiring a lot of bad muthas in the silver screen.Nothing will beat Eastwood´s classic image with the hat, the cigar in the mouth and the gun in hand. Now that´s a badass in my opinion.I loved Lee Van Cleef in the movie as Angel Eyes.I first met him in Escape from New York but he´s a constant presence in the westerns. He will be always remembered as the West´s most toughest villain.
Sergio Leone is one hell of a director. He has such a unique style of filmmaking which is amazing. He´s the Kubrick of westerns in my opinion. The standoff scene between Blondie,Tuco and Angel Eyes is one of the best scenes of the film and also of cinematic history. That scene is so intense and spetacular and with Ennio Morricone´s amazing score makes it even more amazing. This movie grabed a lot and too bad they don´t make this kind of movies anymore. The Good The Bad and Ugly is the definitve western movie of all time and a landmark of cinematic history just like Raiders of Lost Ark for the adventure movies and Die Hard for the action movies.
This is no doubt of mind one of my favorite movies ever and i hope to see more Spaghetti westerns just as spectacular as this amazing masterpiece. The ultimate bad ass movie ever made by the master Sergio Leone.

Review:
Oh boy,i absolutely love Ghosbusters since i was a kid and 2009 is a year of celebration because one of the most funniest comedies of all time celebrates 25 years since it s release and Ghostbusters is one of those movies that will never die in my opinion. This movie is very remembered by his amazing cast, great special effects and Ray Parker s catchy song but if you want to some fun,who ya gonna call?GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!
Bill Murray steals the show as the funny but sarcastic Dr.Peter Venkman. Is really cool to see Murray at his best because he is one of the most funniest actors of all time.I can t stop laughing with him because that s impossible.Venkman may be interested in getting girls instead of catching ghosts but he s the heart and soul of the team and a natural leader.Dan Aykroyd is another comedy genious in the movie as Ray Stanz.I love his face expressions, freaking funny aswell.I loved Harold Ramis as the group s egged brained Egon Spengler.I had no idea tnat was him but even with his serious look,he is so amazing.Wow,i loved Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barret. She was great but she s even better in Aliens.Oh can t forget Rick Moranis as the retarded Louis Tully and the first appearence of two of the most emblematic characters of the movie:Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
Ivan Reitman is one of the best comedy directors of all time.He made Ghostbusters such a funny movie that the audience can have a great time and still today,Ghostbusters is such a phenomenon around the world that will never die and it will continue with the long awaited third installement.
Ghostbusters is still one of the most funniest, entertaining and spectacular comedies of all time, conquering audiences of all ages.Personally,it won t have another amazing comedy just as fun as Ghostbuster.A classic not only of the genre but of cinema history,Ghostbusters is one of the best movies ever made.

Review:
Well, i m going to be honest.I never liked Star Trek because it was very boring to me in my opinion.Like everybody ,i grew up with Star Wars. When i heard of a new Star Trek movie with J J Abrams,i knew how good this movie would be and my god i was right. This new version of the adventures of Captain Kirk,Mr Spock and the rest of the Enterprise crew is simply spectacular and amazing,I was missing this kind of movies since the good old times of Star Wars and Indiana Jones. This is not your daddy´s Star Trek movie,is pure fun and recommendable for the non Trekkies.Star Trek is one of the most suprising blockbusters of the year, ressurecting with success one of the most legendary sci fi sagas of all time.
Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto take on the legendary roles of James T.Kirk and his associate Mr.Spock, formely played by William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy(who makes a great cameo in the film). Both of the characters are young, tortured and troubled with themselves, specially Spock.Chris Pine was phenomenal as Jim Kirk.He really makes the character of his own on giving charisma and charm just like Shatner in the original series.Pine reminded me of a young Harrison Ford in Star Wars because of his cockiness and sense of humour.I hope to see more of this young man who is the new Harrison Ford.Zachary Quinto(the guy from Heroes)was absolutely fantastic as Spock, who became my favorite character of the movie.I was impressed of his abilities as an actor because he looks like a young Leonard Nimoy. He was great and there´s someone i will put my eye on for a long time. And i can´t forget Eric Bana with his fantastic perfomance as Nero.He has erased those bad memories of The Hulk. The rest of the cast was fantastic including John Cho as Hikari Sulu, the lovely Zoe Zaldana as Uhura,Karl Urban was so funny as Bones McCoy and Simon Pegg made me laugh a lot as Scotty.
J J Abrams should be called the new Steven Spielberg. He managed to make such a fun and entertaining movie with amazing visual effects(the most impressives since the original Star Wars)bringing back the spirit of enteratinenment cinema created by Lucas and Spielberg in the 70´s and 80´s.
This is the most impressive blockbuster of the year and i hope to see more good Star Trek movies like this one.A great masterpiece of science fiction,Star Trek is back where it belongs.Live long and prosper,JJ Abrams.

Review:
I absolutely love Robocop since i was a kid.I grew up with Robo when i saw the 3 movies. And well, the original is definetly the best and one of the greatest action movies not only of the 80 s but of all time.Robocop is one of the most violent and intense movies ever made and i liked it because the more Robocop is violent the more is legendary.Robocop isn t just a science fiction but is also a social satire with a amazing story about a man who becomes a machine and recovers his own humanity.
Peter Weller IS Robocop.i just said it because is true and anyone who watched the movie would agree. He was great as Murphy but he was amazing as Robocop.I really liked Weller s perfomance because he makes Robo such a fascinating character and at same very realistic when he recovers his humanity.Robocop is a real badass too and very relentless to the criminals. No one can replace Peter Weller as Robocop,i mean nobody.
Nancy Allen was great as Robo s partner and friend,Lewis. She s such a strong character and very supportve because she s the one who understands Robo s soul.Kurtwood Smith was soo cool as Murphy s executioner Clarence Boodicker. He was so hilarious and at the same as relentless badguy but Ronnie Cox is the real villain as Dick Jones.Cox makes Dick Jones such a evil villain and he won t stop to achieve his power. He also created Robo s nemesis,ED 209,the dumbest robot ever made.Like Jones said,it s a temporary setback.
I love Paul Verhoeven because he s a fantastic director. He made Robocop such a hardcore and explosive that is not just a typical robot movie. He has not afraid of making a violent movie but also he has such a realistic vision.Verhoeven is fantastic and Robocop is his best movie by far.
Robocop is a action masterpiece of the 80 s along Aliens,Die Hard,The Terminator and Predator. Is very superior to those CGI craps of today and 22 years after the release,Robocop is a timless classic that will never die.

He must travel from Moscow, Paris and London to Tangier and New York City as he continues his quest to find the real Jason Bourne?all the while trying to outmaneuver the scores of cops, federal officers and Interpol agents with him in their crosshairs.
Review:
He lost his identity, found his supremacy and now Jason Bourne is sending his ultimatum.I was every excited for The Bourne Ultimatum because i enjoyed the first two movies and boy i absolutely loved this spectacular movie. Why is The Bourne Ultimatum is the best movie of the series? It s simple. It managed to maintain the brilliance of Identity and the intensity of Supremacy with a great control.Ultimatum is one of the best movies o 2007 and one of the greatest action movies of all time that won t let you breath.
Matt Damon proves once again that he IS Jason Bourne. This time,Bourne is decided to recover his true identity at all cost.Damon was meant to play Bourne because he s such a realistic and amazing character and the way he reacts to the situations is amazing.Looking back at the series,i couldn t imagine another actor playing Bourne nicely as Damon.Julia Stiles was fantastic as Nikcy Parsons, which gains a even bigger presence in the movie on helping Bourne.I thought that would be some romance between them but that didn t happen.Joan Allen is absolutely fantastic as Pamela Landy. She s no longer a enemy of Bourne and just like him,she s trying to fight the system she helped to creat.Other actors were great like David Strathain as Noah Vosel and Albert Finney was creepy and brilliant as Hrsch, the mastermind behind Blackbriar.
Paul Greengrass directs another spectacular chapter of the Bourne series. This is probably his best work along Bloody Sunday and United 93.Greengrass is the John Frankenheimer of the new century because he directs with such brilliance, intensity and control.Greengrass didin t dissapoint me yet and probably he won t for a long time.
The Bourne Ultimatum is one of the most spectacular and brillaint action movies of all time and probably one of the best movies of 2007.This is what Bourne is all about and i can t wait to see Bourne on the run again in tnhe fourth filme. The Bourne Ultimatum is definetly a masterpiece.

Plot:
A novelist - Jack Torrance take a job interview as winter caretaker of the isolated, old, huge and beautiful Overlook Hotel. In the interview, Jack is told by the manager himself, that the previous caretaker - Grady, chopped his family and later killed himself with a shotgun. Ignoring the story, Jack brings his wife - Wendy and his son Danny. It happens that Danny, has a mysterious power known as "The Shining" that shows him things from the past and future. Some of the visions come from Tony - "the little boy who lives in Danny's mouth". Danny meets Hallorann - the hotel cook in their first day arriving at the Overlook, who also has this "Shining" and he warns him about the hotel and the sinister Room 237. As the days go by, Danny has visions of previous guests and employees who died at the hotel years before, meanwhile Jack starts driving into insanity, turning more and more aggressive, at the point that Danny and Wendy gets convinced that Jack might try to do the same thing, Grady did.
Review:
The Shining is one of the most scariest and intense horror films of all time.I m not a huge fan of the genre but The Shining made me see how good the horror films are.Based on the novel created by Stephen King(who didn t enjoy it),The Shining is more a phsycological thriller because is about losing your sanity and becoming a threat to your family and this movie explores very well the human insanity.Anyway, this movie is one of all time favorite and a powerfull experience.
Jack Nicholson gives one of the scariest perfomances and probably the best of his career as Jack Torrance.Torrance is not exacly your typical villain. He s just a regular guy who loses his own mind and tries to kill his own family.Nicholson is one of the best actors ever and there´s no person who could play that role better than Nicholson because he was scary but at the same time.He also creates one of his most famous quote ever:Heeeeeeere´s Johnny!!!.Shelley Duvall was a little annoying for me because she was a bitch to me.Always crying and screaming all the time.No wonder why Torrance wants to kill her.Danny Lloyd was kind of weird but scary too, specially in the Redrum scene. He was creepy as Jack is but in a nice way of course.
I absolutely love the legendary Stanley Kubrick. He was the main reason that i love the Shining. His direction is brilliant and intense at the same time.Kubrick is indeed the master of cinema and movies like 2001,Full Metal Jacket and A Clockwork Orange are other ounstanding masterpieces of this legendary director.
The Shining is a intense and unforgettable horror experience and of my faves of the genre along A Nightmare on Elm Street,Friday the 13th and The Exorcist.A masterpiece courtesy of Stanley Kubrick.

Review:
Rebooting a franchise is very risky, specially for James Bond. After Die Another Day,the producers decided to reivent the series for a new generation with Casino Royale, showing Bond s early days as 007.I got to say that this is the greatest Bond movie ever made since Goldfinger and a excellent reivintation of the legendary hero created by Ian Fleming. This is the Bond movie i always wanted to see and a great masterpiece.
Daniel Craig is the sixth actor to play James Bond, following the steps of Sean Connery,George Lazenby,Roger Moore,Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan and he s the first blond Bond of the history of the series. His choice was contorversial that the fans and critics were enraged about Bond s new look but after the movie being released,Craig proved to everybody that he is James Bond.Craig brings such a intensity, toughness and humanity to Bond in a brilliant way of course but he s also charming and sexy for the ladies.Craig is the best Bond since Sean Connery and i hope too see him more as 007.Judi Dench is brilliant as M and she s fantastic as usual.I love the conflict between M and Bond because she believes that Bond doesn t deserved her trust.Mads Milkkelsen is a excellent villain as LeChiffre,Bond s first opponent. He s sinistrely evill.Eva Green is stunning as Vesper Lynd.Seeing Vesper and Bond is so magical specially in the scene where she dies and Bond starts his obession for revenge that will continue in Quantum of Solace.Oh and the movie has one of the coolest poker games ever.
Martin Campbell ressurects Bond to a new generation after Goldeneye. His direction is brilliant and full of energy but at the same time he makes the Bond that everyone wanted to see.
Casino Royale is the best movie of the series and very faitfull to Fleming s spirit and also a lot better than Quantum of Solace.Anyway,Bond is reborn once again and better than never.
"Sin City" is infested with criminals, crooked cops and sexy dames, some searching for vengeance, some for redemption and others, both. The film incorporates storylines from three of Miller's graphic novels including 'Sin City,' which launched the long-running, critically acclaimed series, as well as 'That Yellow Bastard' and 'The Big Fat Kill.' Where Hartigan, a cop with a bum ticker and a vow to protect stripper Nancy. Marv, the outcast misanthrope, is on a mission to avenge the death of his one true love, Goldie; there's also Dwight, the clandestine love of Shelley who spends his nights defending Gail and her Old Towne girls from Jackie Boy, a dirty cop with a penchant for violence.

Review:
Wow,man. What a huge way on bringing for the first time on the big screen one of the coolest Marvel superheroes of all time. When i first heard of Iron Man movie,i was so happy but at the same time afraid of killing the character but thank god, that didn´t happen.Iron Man is such a fun movie to watch and is more than just a blockbuster movie. Is one of the best movies ever made and an enjoyable ride for the audience.
Robert Downey Jr.is absolutely amazing as Tony Stark aka Iron Man.He´s a great choice because he makes Tony such a sarcastic and funny guy but at the same time troubled and tortured.I really love the scene where Tony makes the armor and the hilarious tests as well.I couldn´t imagine this movie without Robert Downey Jr. because no other actor could make Tony Stark very realistic like Downey does. What a comeback for this fantastic actor and i hope to see more from him.Jeff Bridges was amazing as well as Obadiah Stane. He makes Stane a egomaniac and sadistic villain even when he puts the Iron Monger armor he is such a menace.I also liked Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts(god, she was so sexy)and Terence Howard as Jim Rhodes was great.
Jon Favreau´s direction is absolutely fantastic. He makes such a entertaining and funny movie on keeping the action and comedy together and the visual effects are spectacular, specially the scenes where Iron Man flies.
Iron Man is one of the best movies ever made and also one of the coolest comic book adaptations ever made along The Dark Knight and Sin City. While i m waiting for the sequel,I will not get tired of this spectacular rollercoaster that will please all the comic book fans.

Review:
In 1982,we witnesed the birth of everybody´s favorite killing machine John Rambo in the excellent action thriller First Blood.Years later,Rambo returns in Rambo:First Blood Part 2,the second installement of the most emblematic action franchises of all time. This is personally my favorite of the series because is one of the grandaddies of the genre.Who ever grew up with Rambo, will enjoy this amazing movie that has everything that action fan loves.
Sylvester Stalllone returns as more tougher and deadlier John Rambo,a little different than in the first movie. Some people may hate him in this kind of movie but i don´t because he was amazing as he always has been. What i loved about the story is the fact of Rambo returns to Vietname and rescue the prisioners of war.I think Rambo did what the Governement could never do in my opinion.Stallone established in this movie as an action icon.
Richard Crenna was great as Trautman,Rambo´s mentor and friend and Charles Napier was such a bastard(in a nice way) as Murdock but we can see him full of fear when Rambo says he would get his ass.
George P.Cosmatos ´s direction was spectacular and the action is freaking spectacular and the visual effects were fantastic(and with no CGI).Now that´s how a action movie is made.
No disrepect for 1 and 4 but Rambo:First Blood 2 is spectacular and a great sequel of the original movie.Rambo is one of the badass heroes of cinematic history and fuck the critics. This movie is a classic of the 80´s.

Review:
In 1984, a legend is born and the name is The Terminator. What a great start of one of the most legendary sci fi series of all time and boy this is one of the best movies of all time. The Terminator became a landmark of science fiction and 25 years later since it´s beggining,it still thrills the entire audience and no matter how great is Terminator 2,T1 started the unending battle between man and machine.
Arnold Schwarzenegger became one of the most iconic action heroes of all time thanks to his amazing perfomance as the most deadliest killing machine of the future,The Terminator. He nailed the part perfectly and honestly no other actor would play the role.Arnie makes the Terminator such a dark, menancing and relentless character that it has no limits, feelings and fears. And of course one of the coolest quotes of all time is born:I ´ll be back.Arnold dominates the entire movie from the beggining to the end.Linda Hamilton gives a great perfomance as Sarah Connor.Yeah.she ´s kind of scary in the beggining but she becomes more stronger and tougher like in the second movie.Michael Biehn is great as Kyle Reese and he has a great presence in the movie.
James Cameron began his legendary career thanks to Terminator. He brings his amazing direction with energy and intensity, which would be his trademark in his next movies(Aliens,T2 and True Lies). The effects are great and cheesy but hey,it´s 1984.
One of greatest classics of science fiction,The Terminator is one of the movies that will never die and not even Terminator Salvation will beat this masterpiece. The Terminator is one of the most legendary science fiction masterpiece of all time and also one of the best movies of the 80 s.

Review:
The Untouchables is a incredible film and one of the reasons that atracted to watch this movie is because i love gangster movies and this movie is on the same level as The Godfather,Scarface and Goodfellas. When i was a kid,i got a litlle uncomfortable with the violence of the movie but now i m all grown up,i absolutely loved The Untouchables and the idea of one man has the courage to stand against corruption. The Untouchables is definetly a masterpiece and no other movie of the genre can reach the same level of Brian De Palma s crime epic.
Kevin Costner delivers an amazing perfomance as Elliot Ness, the federal agent who swore taking down Al Capone.Costner is perfect as Ness and proves to manage the role perfectly. What i love about Elliot Ness is the fact that he s a man with principles and rules but he soon realizes that the only way to face Capone is hunting down with no mercy. This is probably Costner s best roles but i m curious to see him in Dances with the Wolfes.Sean Connery gives a memorable perfomance as Jim Malone which earned him his first Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.Malone becomes not only a father figure but he s also the heart and soul of the group.Connery delivers here one of his best peformances of his career, proving that he s not only the best James Bond,he s one of the greatest actors of all time.Robert DeNiro was phenomenal as the legendary gangster Al Capone.I didn t recognize him but boy he was amazing.DeNiro is one of the greatest actors of all time and he shows here why.Capone is a little different of the other gangsters. He basically looks more a buisness man than a criminal.Well a honest criminal who won t hesitate to take down his enemies. The other actors were amazing including Andy Garcia as George Stone,Charles Martin Smith fantastic as Oscar Wallace and Billy Drago sinister as Frank Nitti,Capone s henchman.
Brian De Palma directs his ultimate film and probably the best movie he has ever done since Scarface.De Palma is a genious and he managed to create a memorable crime epic like he knows best with memorable scenes like the train station gunfire and of course Ennio Morricone s amazing score.
The Untouchables is one of the greatest movies of all time and probably of the 80 s.An american classic that will alwalys live forever as one of the most stunning crime epics of all time and i hope Mr.De Palma delievers more masterpieces like The Untouchables.Classic piece of cinema.

Plot:
Dutch and a team of commandos have been sent into a Central American jungle to track down some missing airmen that were kidnapped by terrorists. By the time they get to the camp, the airmen have been butchered in a very violent fashion and the commandos retaliate on the terrorists' camp. It isn't long before the commandos start getting killed off and Dutch and a girl from the camp, Anna, are the only people left and fighting for their lives. But what they discover is too shocking for them to imagine. What's been killing them is the Predator, an alien that hunts rare species and make his trophies out of their skulls. And human beings are the new species he has discovered.
Review:
Predator is one of the greatest action movies of all time and i have no shame to say. This classic is the ultimate guy and it doesn t waste anytime with romantic. Is pure action from the beggining to the end and at the same thing grabs you every single second.Predator is an oustanding classic that starts like Rambo and ends like Alien. In simple word, this movie is pure adrenaline.
Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn t need introduction because he s the king of action and this movie is the example. His character Dutch is a preety tough guy and a natural leader but he and his men will a enemy they have never met before:a alien who hunts for sport and feels the thrill of the hunt but Arnie proved that he s not easy man to hunt.Carl Weathers was ok as Dillon, who has a nasty death in the movie.Bill Duke was fantastic as Mac,perhaps the most paranoid of the group and becomes a liittle when he faces the Predator for the first.Kevin Peter Hall dominates the entire movie as one of the famous movie creatures of all time:Predator.i love Predator because he s very inteligent and deadly. He s really the ultimate hunter and nobody suits up nicely as Hall did.Oh and he beats the crap of Arnold, kinda shocking actually.
Before setting a standard in the genre with Die Hard,John McTiernan directed nicely this movie, right in the level of James Cameron s Aliens.McTiernan made a very intelligent movie with a interesting plot, leaving his mark as the most influential action director of all time.
Predator is the most badass movies of all time and one of Arnie s best movies along The Terminator,True Lies,Total Recall,T2 and Red Heat. This is one of the movies that will never die and is a lot better than the sequel.Masterpiece of action courtesy of Arnold Schwarzengger.

Review:
Batman is one of the most popular comicbook superheroes of all time since his first appearence in 1939.Back in 1989(his 50th anniversary),The Dark Knight jumped to the big screen by the hands of Tim Burton in the first and most sucessfull movie of that year.I may feel the explosive impact of The Dark Knight(the best of all Batman movies)but i enjoy this one because is tremendous classic of Tim Burton who has in my opinion one of the best visions of Batman.
Michael Keaton is fantastic as Batman|Bruce Wayne. The fans thought that he wasn´t perfect for the role because phisically he doesn´t look like the character. But Keaton proved he can play Batman like no other.Honestly,i like him more as Batman because he has that scary and silent factor and he´s also good as Bruce Wayne.Keaton is my favorite Batman next to Christian Bale.Jack Nicholson steals the thunder as Batman´s famous arch-nemesis,The Joker. He´s the only reason why i love this movie. He dominates completely and i can´t stop laughing all the time.As long i prefer Heath Ledger´s Joker,Jack´s Joker is a legend and gives here one of the best perfomances of his career.Kim Basinger was great as Vicky Vale. She was absolutely stunning and great but i llke Catwoman more.
Tim Burton is one hell of a director. He did a great job in the film, making a dark and gothic universe that is the Batman universe but unfortunately he doesn´t even focus on Batman a lot. That ´s the mistake he did.He just focus on The Joker.I mean i like him but the Batman is the main character.Anyway,i love Burton and this is one of his best movies along Edward Scissorhands and Sweeney Todd.
Batman always will be my favorite superhero and this movie proves that Batmania will always live forever.Masterpiece courtesy of the master Tim Burton,Batman is one of the biggest movies of the 80 s and of all time.

Review:
I ve always been atracted to Dune but i couldn t explain why. There was somethiing fascinating and mysterious about Dune that i wanted to see it so badly. After making some research,i finally got the chance to see the movie on DVD and i must say that i enjoyed this amazing picture.Dune was a flop on the box-office in 1984 because everybody was crazy about The Terminator.Couple of years later,Dune remains as a cult movie of the genre and a extraordinary classic aswell.
The cast is excellent.Kyle MacLachlan gives a excellent perfomance as Paul Atreides, the Messias that wiill lead his people to freedom. The character reminded me a little bit of Luke Skywalker of Star Wars because of the path to his destiny.McLachlan was amazing in the movie.Patrick Stewart was great too but i like him more in the X-Men trilogy.I was suprised about Sting as the villain Feyd.He was fantastic as an actor but he s even better as a singer and the other actors including Sean Young and Linda Hunt were great.
David Lynch is one of the greatest directors of all time and he proved that with Eraserhead,Blue Velvet,The Ellephant Man and Muholland Drive.I really enjoyed his vision of science fiction. He may hated making Dune but he did a brilliant job.
Dune is one of the extraordinary sci fi movies i ve ever seen and i think people should give a second chance because Dune is a fantastic movie and a extraordinary cinematic experience.A masterpiece courtesy of David Lynch.
I just saw it recently and i almost forgot how funny this movie is.I love Gizmo. He is one most adorable creatures of movie history. But his evil buddies, well, they are true meaning of menace and horror(in the fun way,of course).
Gremlins is one of the cult movies of the 80´s and it was really cool to watch it again after so many years. The sequel is cool but the original reamins a classic.
Great creation of Spielberg and Joe Dante. And by the way, don´t feed your pet after midnight or you will suffer the consequences.

Review:
Since i watched the fantastic new Star Trek movie directed by J.J Abrams,i realized that series isn´t that bad after all.So i decided to watch the original series and i started with Star Trek 2:The Wrath of Khan, which is in everyone´s opinion, the best of all Star Trek original films. When i first watched The Wrath of Khan,i got the feeling that it was amazing, brilliant and fantastic. The Wrath of Khan is most powerfull of the saga because is very emotional and dark as welll but at the same time is really fun to watch.I did enjoyed the new one but this is The Empire Strikes Back of Star Trek.
I really enjoyed William Shatner´s fantastic and powerfull perfomance as Admiral James T.Kirk.Shatner makes us like Kirk because is so funny on dealing with his mildage crisis and very heroic as well.I gained respect for Shatner because he is the original Kirk and you got to respect the original.Leonard Nimoy is absolutely fantastic as Mr.Spock.Like i said before,Spock is my favorite character and i was sad because he dies in the end by saving the Enterprise.Spock´s death is the most powerfull scene of the movie and the sadest because is really hearbroken on watching Spock diyng.Ricardo Montalban will go down in history as one of the most charismatic villains of the series and of the history of cinema as Kirk´s most deadliest enemy,Khan.I really loved Khan because is a egomaniac baddie and also he is such a evil and menancing character.Khan dominates the movie from the beggining to the end, even when he is defeated,Khan is still evil. What a memorable role by Montalban(Rest in Peace).
Nicolas Meyer´s direction was fantastic and he shows what Star Trek is always meant to be.Along J J Abrams,he is the best director of the series, showing the true spirit of Gene Roddenbey s vision.
Star Trek 2:The Wrath of Khan is without doubt of my mind the greatest movie of the series and one of the best sequels ever made.Great masterpiece of science fiction.

With the diary as a vital key and the map with no names as a guide, Indiana Jones once again finds himself in another death defying adventure of pure excitement.
Review:
Indiana Jones is back in action in his funniest and entertaining adventure ever in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. This was the first Indy movie i ve ever seen and boy is really fun to watch. The Last Crusade is for me the funniest of all four movies because it makes crack me up with the hilarious scenes between Indy and his dad.The Last Crusade is on the level of Raiders and Temple but very superior to the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.Anyway,if you want to have some fun, have fune with the Jones boys.
Harrison Ford proves once again that he IS Indiana Jones. He was amazing like he usually is.Indy faces once again the Nazis and of course he beats the crap out of him.Like i said it before,Harrison is the best thing of the series because i couldn t imagine another guy playing Indy.Harrison is and will be always be Indiana Jones.Sean Connery is absolutely hilaarious as Henry Jones Sr,Indy s father. He steals the entire movie on torturing Indy by calling him Junior and it makes laugh my ass of.We learned that Indy s real name is Henry Jones Jr(now you know why is called Junior). The chemistry between Harrison and Sean is absolutely amazing and that s what make this movie great.Who is also back is Denholm Elliott as Marcus, which was unfortunenatly his last appearence and John Rhys Davies as Sallah.River Phoenix was fantastic as young Indy.He nailed the part perfectly because he looked exacly like Harrison.
Steven Spielberg brings the action and the excitement once again with Indiana Jones. His direction is once again inspiring and wonderfull, recovering the excitement of the original movie. The action sequences are spectacular, specially the insane tank fight.
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade needs no words because is a excellent third installement and like i said it before, the adventure has a name:Indiana Jones. If you think that one Jones is good, two Jones is even better.

Review:
Escape From New York is a spectacular futuristic action thriller and a fantastic classic of the 80 s.When i first saw it,i loved it because it was very dark and dystopic back in the time but is freaking awesome.Personally,is one of the most orginal movies i ve ever seen and it doesn t deserve a remakes because there s no way to beat this classic of John Carpenter.Escape From New York is a futuristic adventure full of action and suspense.
Kurt Russell is the perfect choice for one of the most coolest heroes ever created:Snake Plissken.I love Snake because he doesn t care about anyone but himself and at same time he s very resourcefull and a complete badass too.I couldn t imagine this movie without Russell because he s such a cool actor and he will be always associated to Snake Plissken.Lee Van Cleef is a current presence in the westerns but he was great as Bob Hawk, the man who makes Snake to go to New York and save the president.I think it was one of the last appearences of Van Cleef. If is,too bad because he was amazing.Soul legend Issac Hayes was awesome as the Duke of New York and i loved his perfomance.I didn t know that Hayes could act that good and i was preety impressed about him. This is one of the movies that gave me the chance to remind him because he s a legend. The rest of the cast was great specially Harry Dean Stanton as Brain.
John Carpenter directs another classic.Carpenter is one of the best directors of all time and he delivered classics like Halloween and The Thing and Escape From New York.I hope that Carpenter brings another original movie because we need movies like that.
Escape From New York is a instant Carpenter classic and a spectacular futuristic adventure.I want another Escape movie because i want to see Snake back more badass then never.Until then,Escape From New York remains a classic.

Review:
Back in 2006,Casino Royale opened new doors for a new generation of Bond films.Everybody thought that it wouldn t work because of Daniel Craig as the new Bond but they were wrong. Now,Bond returns for vengeance in Quantum of Solace, the 22nd movie of the series and direct sequel of Casino Royale.Personnaly i m not a Bond fan but i m enjoying this new turn of Bond in a more realistic and updated way.QOS is a more tough and edgier film and captured very well the emotional premisse of Casino Royale. Some people didn t understand but Quantum focus on Bond s path of revenge and finding his inner peace.Probably the most intense of all Bond films.
Daniel Craig delivers another brilliant performance as James Bond.Craig shows a darker, tougher and intense James Bond like we never seen before.I like Craig because he makes Bond his own character and very realistic as well.Bond was left in a dark place when Vesper died and now he wants revenge in any cost.Craig is no doubt of my mind the best James Bond since Sean Connery.Judi Dench is once again great as M and the chemistry between her and Craig is amazing on creating a conflict between M and Bond.Mathieu Amalric is amazing as Dominic Greene, probably one of the best Bond villains.Greene is the member of Quantum, the organization that Bond must face.Amalric is so evil and a egomaniac. What s a Bond without hot Bond girls?Olga Kurylenko was smoking as Camille(thank god Bond didn t fuck her,i would jealous)and Gemma Atherton was stunning as well as Fields.
Marc Forster s direction was fantastic.I loved the way he made the movie with a incredible intensity and realism.Forster impressed me a lot and the action scenes are amazing, specially the car chase.
Quantum of Solace may not be better than Casino Royale but is the most intense of the series by far and has become one of my favorite Bond movies along Casino Royale and with my new favorite James Bond:Mr Daniel Craig.Don t worry.Bond will return in 2012.

Plot:
A long time ago, far away on the planet of Cybertron, a war was being waged between the noble Autobots (led by the wise Optimus Prime) and the devious Decepticons (commanded by the dreaded Megatron) for control over the Allspark, a mystical talisman that would grant unlimited power to whoever possessed it. The Autobots managed to smuggle the Allspark off the planet, but Megatron blasted off in search of it. He eventually tracked it to the planet of Earth (circa 1850), but his reckless desire for power sent him right into the Arctic Ocean, and the sheer cold forced him into a paralyzed state. His body was later found by Captain Archibald Witwicky, and before going into a comatose state Megatron used the last of his energy to engrave a map, showing the location of the Allspark, into the Captain's glasses, and send a transmission to Cybertron. He is then carted away by the Captain's ship. A century later, Sam Witwicky, nicknamed Spike by his friends, buys his first car. To his shock, he discovers it to be Bumblebee, an Autobot in disguise who is to protect Spike, as he bears the Captain's glasses and the map carved on them. But Bumblebee is not the only Transformer to have arrived on Earth - in the desert of Qatar, the Decepticons Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. military base, causing the Pentagon to send their special Sector Seven agents to capture all "specimens of this alien race," and Spike and his girlfriend Mikaela find themselves in the middle of a grand battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, stretching from Hoover Dam all the way to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, within the depths of Hoover Dam, the cryogenically stored form of Megatron awakens...
Review:
When i first heard of Transformers the movie,i was kind of scare with the idea of killing it because it was my favorite cartoon series when i was a kid.In the first time i saw it in the cinema, this movie is one of the most spectacular action sci fi blockbusters i ve ever seen in years.Transformers is non stop action and adrenaline and makes the audience having a great time.Transformers took down some crappy sequels like Spider-Man 3 and Pirates 3 and became the best summer blockbuster of 2007.
Shia LaBeouf was fantastic as teenager Sam Wicwitcky.2007 was a huge for LaBeouf thanks to Disturbia and now with Transformers.Labeouf is one of the most talented actors of his generation and it was interesting to see Sam s transition form a regular teenager to the savior of the world. The lovely Megan Fox makes a great debut as Sam s love interest,Micaela Baines.I fell iin love with her not only by her beauty and sexyness but also by her talent.I hope to see more of Megan, she s already a superstar. The real stars are,of course, the Autobots and the Decepticons. My favorite is Optimus Prime and i loved his new look and i love Bumblebee because he s so adorable.
Michael Bay brings his energic and intense direction to the world of Transformers.I knew that Bay would do a great job because this man knows how to make a spectacular summer blockbuster and he does it again with Transformers and he will do it again with Revenge of the Fallen.
Transformers deserves to be at the same category as The Terminator,Robocop,Aliens along great action sci fi movies. This movie is already a classic and i m more excited than never to see Revenge of the Fallen.Until then,Transformers is in my opinion the best movie of Michael Bay s career.

Review:
The final battle between the Rebels and the Empire colides in the Return of Jedi, the third and final part of one of the greatest sci fi sagas of cinematic history. What a brilliant ending for Star Wars because is an excellent mix between the excitement and action of a New Hope and the darkness and emoton of the Empire Strikes Back.Either way,is a excting and fun movie for the die hard fans of the series.
Mark Hamill is once again fantastic as Luke Skywalker. In this movie,Luke is more stronger and wiser and finally he s a Jedi Knight.Hamill s perfomance was amazing and emotional specially in the scene where Luke refuses to turn to the Dark Side.Unfortunately, this was the last time Hamill appeared on the big screen to dedicate to animation.Harrison Ford is cool as usual as Han Solo.Ford was great as usual and he has become a huge movie star thanks to Raiders of the Lost Ark and Blade Runner.Carrie Fisher was sexier than ever as Leia and in this movie focus a little more in the romance between Han and Leia.Ian McDiarmid dominatedsthe movie as the Emperor Palpatine, who is the real villain of the film.I couldn t believe he was 39 but he was so brilliantly evil and David Prowse was great as Darth Vader, who becomes more a victim than a villain.
Richard Marquand s direction was amazing and good as Irvin Kershner in the previous film but a little better than George Lucas. He managed to maintain the excitement of the first two movies and he did a good job.
The Return of the Jedi is an enjoyable ending for the series, remaining as one of the best threequels ever made.May the Force be with you.

Review:
After Joel Schumacher killed my favorite superhero with Batman e Robin in 1997,i felt dissapointed for the disrespect of the Dark Knight´s true image and i was missing the dark and tortured hero that is still here for almost 70 years since his creation. When i heard that a new Batman movie was being made,i was very happy to see my hero back into the big screen but this time showing how Bruce Wayne becomes the Dark Knight of Gotham City.
Batman Begins is an amazing movie and a masterpiece as well. This movie truly honors the legacy of Batman and shows how the Batman should be represented in the big screen for all his fans(including myself). There are no words to describe how proud i am of this amazing and wonderfull movie.
Christian Bale is absolutely amazing as Batman /Bruce Wayne.Bale is indeed a great choice to the role because he is used to play phsycological characters as Patrick Bateman of American Phsyco.Bale makes Bruce Wayne a believable and tortured person but also he makes Batman a darker, intense and scary character as well.It was easy for him to follow the footsteps of Michael Keaton.Bale was oustanding and he IS Batman at my opinion.I loved Liam Nesson as Ducard. He was very important on Bruce´s training.Liam Neeson is one of best actors ever and this is one of the best roles of his career but i was shocked when he revealed himself as Ras Al Ghul, one of Batman´s greatest enemies.Sir Michael Caine was oustanding as Alfred,Gary Oldman was even better as Jim Gordon and also a realistic character and Morgan Freeman was great as he usually is.Cilian Murphy was freaking scary as the Scarecrow. He was a great villain.Katie Holmes was very lame as Rachel Dawes.I like Maggie Gyllenhall more then her.
Christopher Nolan is one of the most brilliant directors around today. He brought back the Batman back:dark, tortured and believable, just like Tim Burton did at 1989 but Nolan gave a more urban and realistic vision to Batman and all the characters but maintaining the dark enviroment and respecting the spirit of the comics.
As much i love the Dark Knight,Batman Begins is an oustanding masterpiece and Batman is now reborned and back when he belongs.I hope to see more of my favorite superhero in the big screen.Thank you,Nolan and Bale.

Review:
I knew Back to the Future but i wasn t interested because i thought it was boring. After i bought the movie and watched it,i was like:Holy crap, this movie is fun.Back to the Future is one of the funniest and entertaining movies of all time in the same level of Star Wars,Indiana Jones and Ghostbusters and a great start of one of the greatest trilogies of all time.Back to the Future is now one of my favorite movies and there s no way they ll make a fun movie as this amazing classic.
Michael J.Fox delivers an unforgettable perfomance as Marty McFly,the teenager who accidentally travels back to 1955 and gets involved into a hilarious adventure in the 50 s.Fox is one of the funniest actors ever and i couldn t imagine another actor playing Marty.Marty is a kid like anyone but he has a unique charisma and sense of humour.Michael will always be Marty and i wish him well.Christopher Lloyd IS Doc Emmett Brown. He s everybody favorite mad scientist and also brings a great presence in the movie and the sequels.Fox and Lloyd have a great chemistry, which is the best thing of the series. The other actors were fantastic like Crispin Glover as George McFly and Lea Thompson as Lorraine. It was funny watching her having a crush on her future son.
Robert Zemeckis s direction is magical and he delivers an amazing energy in the movie that makes the audience watching Back to the Future over and over agan. The main star of the movie is definetly the time machine, the legendary Delorean.
Back to the Future is one of the greatest movies of all time and of the 80 s.I ll never get tired of this movie too soon.It won t be another film that can bring the excitement and fun just like Back to Future did.Timeless classic.

Review:
The craziest time travel of all time continues in Back to the Future 2,the sequel of one of the most successfull comedies of all time and the second installment of the adventures of Marty McFly and Doc Emmett Brown.I enjoyed the original but i enjoyed this one even more.Is more funnier and hilarious but at the same time is very fun to watch.Back to the Future 2 is a great sequel that i can watch everytime.
Michael J.Fox is once again great as Marty McFly.I love him because he makes Marty such a funny character and he s even more cooler than in the first movie. From using future jackets to future skateboards,Marty enters into a crazy adventure in the future.Michael J.Fox is such a amazing actor and i hope he gets better.Christopher Lloyd is absolutely hilarious as Doc Brown and he is indeed the perfect mad scientist. And of course the Delorean is also back to take our heroes to a crazy travel back throw time.Biff is also back.He s the most funniest character of the series because he s such a douchebag(in a nice way,of course).
Robert Zemeckis make a even more entertaining movie but he maintains the same ingredients that made the orginal movie a huge sucess and a instant classic.
Back to the Future Part 2 is a great sequel of the original and has become my favorite of the series. There won t be another funnier and spectacular trilogy like Back to the Future.Classic movie of the 80 s.

Review:
There s no other movie that changed the history of cinema and the culture like Star Wars did. This enjoyable space opera became one of the most sucessfull movies of all time and started one of the greatest sci fi sagas of cinematic history.Star Wars is a one impressive movie with revoluctionary special effects, memorable characters and of course,John Williams s fantastic score. The Empire Strikes Back may be my favorite but the original started everything and became a culture phenomenon.
Mark Hamill is fantastic as Luke Skywalker because he starts to follow his heart and becomes a real hero with the wish to become a Jedi Knight.Hamill is such a fantastic actor and too bad Hollywood didn t appreciate his talent.I love him as Luke and i always will.Harrison Ford is so cool as the cocky and arrogant space pirate Han Solo.Harrison Ford started his fantastic career thanks to Star Wars and later with Indiana Jones and proved to be the actor that we love today.Harrison steals the movie big time.Carrie Fisher is soo lovely as Princess Leia. She s not just only talented but sexy and strong as well.Sir Alec Guiness is oustanding as Obi Wan Kenobi and he s indeed amazing. But who really dominates the movie is one of the greatest cinematic villains of all time:Darth Vader(with the fantastic voice of James Earl Jones).
George Lucas s direction was fantastic. He may not be a great director but he changed cinema with Star Wars.Lucas will always be remembered as the father of the culture pehenomenon known as Star Wars.
One of the most revoluctionary and fascinating sci fi movies of all time,Star Wars will always live on for more 30 years and won his place in the history of cinema as the film that changed the movie industry forever.

Review:
A Nightmare on Elm Street is one of the greatest classics of the horror genre and one of the scariest movies ever made.I grew up watching the series(just those lame sequels)and i had the chance to watch the original couple of years ago and boy this movie scared the hell of the me.This movie will probably make people think twice before sleep.Nightmare also introduced to the world one of the most iconic villains of all time:Freddy Kruger, the famous teen-killer with the fedora hat and the claw-glove.
Robert Englund IS Freddy Kruger. He s absolutely amazing in the movie and probably the best thing in the movie.Freddy not only is evil and menancing but he s also have a scary sense of humour and a unique charisma. If you think Heath Ledger is scary as The Joker, than watch this movie and you ll see why Freddy is the man.Heather Langerkamp was great as Nancy, the girl who becomes Freddy s nemesis. Her perfomance was decent and believable but gives me the sense that she s a little crazy in some scenes but she was ok.Johnny Depp makes a great debut as Glen, the star of one of the most horrifying scenes of the movie.Johnny starts here his amazing career until today.
Wes Craven is the master of horror on making such a intense and legendary movie that is a cornerstone of the genre.Too bad he didn t make a orginal movie(except Scream)since Nightmare but this is his best movie by far.
25 years later with sequels and a future remake,A Nightmare on Elm Street is one of the greatest horror movies of all time and a masterpiece.Don t fall asleep of Freddy will get you.

Review:
What a great movie. The legendary swackbuckling caped crusader is now reborn for a new generation of audience.Zorro was one of my childhood heroes(I was masked as Zorro once). The Mask of Zorro recovers the spirit of the old cape\sword movies of the 40´s and is full of action, comedy and sensuality.Zorro is back and better than never.
Antonio Banderas was born to play Zorro.I think no one would play Zorro nicely as Banderas. He is sexy, tough and funny at the same.Banderas belongs the list of Zorro like Douglas Fairbanks and Tyron Powell.Anthony Hopkins was fantastic as the orginal Zorro,Don Diego De la Vega.He was amazing as he usually is but i like more as Hannibal lLecter.Catherine Zeta-Jones was also absolutely stunning and sexy as Elena and i love the chemistry between Ajejandro and Elena is electrifying..
Martin Campbell s direction was amazing and inspiring aswell that reminds the swashbuckling serials of the 1930 s and 40.Just like with James Bond,Campbell brings Zorro back where he belongs.
A instant classic of action-adventure,The Mask of Zorro is one of my all time favorite movies and is very entertaining and fun to watch.Welcome back,Zorro.

In the present he is disoriented and wary as he is propelled into an urgent search to discover who he is and why his life has taken a perilous turn. A Zurich safe deposit box yields an assortment of passports, a hefty load of cash, an automatic weapon and a name--Jason Bourne--with a Paris address. As Bourne and Marie struggle to stay below the radar in France, all of the stealthy muscle of Treadstone is focused on tracking them and neutralizing Bourne as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Review:
The Bourne trilogy sets a new standard in action-spy films.I already am a fan of the series thanks to The Bourne Supremacy and the excellent The Bourne Ultimatum but i decided to see the beggining of a man´s odissey to discover his true identity. The Bourne Identity is a great start of the series and there´s no doubt of a mind a spectacular action experience.
Matt Damon gives a fantastic perfomance as Jason Bourne.I was suprised to see Damon in a action movie and i was never a huge fan of him but he really nailed the part perfectly.Damon makes Bourne a tortured and a very realistic character and i love how Bourne reacts in very situations he is in.I can´t imagine a Bourne film without Damon and he will be always be associated to this amazing character.Franka Potente was great as Marie,Jason´s love interest,Chris Cooper was spectacular as Conkiln,Brian Cox was lfantastic as usual and we see Clive Owen for the first time.
I m not a fan of Doug Liman but he did a great job in Bourne. His direction was good but Paul Greengrass is a better director in my opinion.Anyway, this is Liman´s best movie along Mr.e Mrs.Smith.
The Bourne Identity is a pumping-adrenaline rush and one of the best spy movies ever made.Probably one of the best movies of 2002.

2001 is a story of evolution. Sometime in the distant past someone or something nudged evolution by placing a monolith here on earth (presumably elsewhere throughout the universe as well) Evolution then enabled man to reach the moon's surface where he finds yet another monolith, one which signals the monolith-placers that we have evolved that far. Now a race begins between computers (HAL) and man (Bowman) to reach the monolith-placers, the winner will achieve the next step in evolution, whatever that may be.
Review:
I was interested to see 2001:A Space Odissey because i ve heard great things about this movie and also i m a huge Stanley Kubrick fan. When i first saw it,it was very hard to describe how did i feel because this movie blew me away and i was extremely focused(that rarely happens,actually).2001 is one of the beautiifull and visually stuning movies of all time and a landmark in science fiction. If you think that Star Wars was a revolution, think again because 2001 is a unique movie and personally no other sci fi movie will achieve perfection like 2001 did.
2001 s plot is kind of simple. It starts right in the beggining of mankind back in the time of cavemen and monkey scene was phenomenal and takes to the year of 2001 where a man called Bowman explores space with his computer HAL.Keir Dullea is a actor i ve never heard before but he gives a great perfomance in this masterpiece.Bowman is very intelligent and at the same curious, questioning himself if there life way beyond space.2001 takes the audience to the a whole new world and the music is magical and envolving that grabed me in the first minute. The visual effects are the best i ve ever seen and a landmark back in the 60 s and a very original plot aswell.
Stanley Kubrick is definetly a master of cinema.2001 is the first and only science fiction but Kubrick managed to create a stunning masterpiece along A Clockwork Orange,The Shining and Full Metal Jacket.Kubrick s inspiration is very influential in other future sci fi masterpieces like Star Wars,Alien ,Blade Runner,Encounters in the 3rd Kind,ET and the upcoming Avatar.
2001:A Space Odissey is the most influential science fiction movie of all time and a stunning masterpiece courtesy of Kubrick that gained a special place in my life.Rest in Peace Mr.Kubrick.Your movies will live on forever and 2001 is no exception.

Review:
Reservoir Dogs is without doubt of my mind one of the greatest movies i ve ever and is an oustanding masterpiece.I wasn t sure if i would like it as i much i love Pulp Fiction but this movie is amazing and it didn t dissapoint me at all.The cast is amazing and the script was welll written. If it wasn t Reservoir Dogs,it wouldn t have Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill in my opinion. This movie revealed for the first time the genious director Quentin Tarantino, one of the greatest directors of all time.
Let s go to the cast.Harvey Keitel was fantastic as Mr.White, which is the most experienced of the gang. His perfomance was amazing and boy Keitel was a complete badass.I may not seen a lot of his movies but i enjoyed him in this one.Michael Madsen is absolutely badass as Mr.Blonde,my favorite character of the movie. He s very relentless and he doesn t care who kills.Madsen is so cool in the movie as Blondie.Steve Buscemi wasn t a faggot as Mr.Pink.He was fantastic and i love in end of the movie when he gets away with the diamonds. That was preety smart.Tim Roth was alright as Mr.Orange but he was bleeding as pig since the beggining of the movie.
Quentin Tarantino makes a brillaint debut with Dogs, opening the door for a long and promising career. What i love about his movies is the inteligence and brilliance of the stories and the fascinating characters.Tarantino is simply amazing and every movie he makes is a masterpiece.
Reservoir Dogs is one of the best movies of the 90 s and of all time.It may not be like Pulp Fiction but Reservoir Dogs is one ba motherfucking movie. In a nice way.

Plot:
A heroic coming-of-age story which follows the epic adventures of a young lion cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destined role as king of the jungle. As a carefree cub, he is both excited and anxious to become king, one day, and spends his days frolicking with his pal, Nala. His father, King Mufasa, the revered ruler of Pride Rock and the lands that surround it, teaches him about the "Circle of Life"--the delicate balance of nature which bonds all animals together; Simba's father cautions him to prepare for the day when he will be called upon to lead. Mufasa's evil brother, Scar, hopes that day will never arrive and schemes to do away with the king and Simba so that he can assume the throne for his own tyrannical purposes. Scar and his hyena henchmen--Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed--lure Simba into the path of a wildebeest stampede in which Mufasa is killed trying to save his son. Scar convinces Simba that he is responsible for his father's death and urges him to leave the Pride Lands and never return. A frightened and guilt-ridden Simba flees into exile where he is befriended by a wacky but warmhearted warthog named Pumbaa and his free-wheeling meerkat companion, Timon. Under the dubious guidance of this nature's odd couple, Simba adopts their "Hakuna Matata" (no worries) attitude towards life--taking things one day at a time. The cub matures into a young adult and is able to forget his past until a beautiful young lioness--who turns out to be his childhood friend Nala--arrives on the scene. She tells him of the hard times and suffering that have come to the Pride Lands under Scar's reign, and beseeches him to take his place as king. With the help of Rafiki, a wise shaman baboon, Simba realizes that his father's spirit lives on in him and that he must accept the responsibility of his destined role.

Review:
I was so excited for Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen because i loved the first one so much that i wanted to see the unending war between the Autobots and Decepticons once again.I was kinda reluctant because of the bad reviews but that didn t stop me to watch another explosive action blockbuster and thank god Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen didn t dissapoint me at all.The action is so intense, the visual effects are even more spectacular and is preety dark too but it doesn t have the magic of the brilliant first installement.Either way,Revenge of the Fallen is a great sequel and the most explosive blockbuster of the year.
Shia LaBeouf delivers a great perfomance as Sam Witwicky. He s more mature and secure with himself but not only has to deal with the robots again but he also has to deal with his new life in college and his relationship with Micaela.LaBeouf managed to give a more mature perfomance, kinda similar to Mark Hamill in The Empire Strikes Back but Shia was grreat as he now is.Megan Fox is more hotter than ever as Micaela. She is something more than meets the eye and her perfomance was great too.Megan knows how to bring sexyback to a movie and i can t wait for Jennifer s Body.John Turturro is also back as Simmons. He was freaking hilarious in the movie. The Transformers are also back to steal the show.Optimus Prime is back with more backup and Bumblebee is back too not to mention Megatron and the appearence of a new Transformer:The Fallen,a ancient transformer who wants to destroy the earth and by the way,he doesn t get his revenge.
Michael Bay brings another explosive action blockbuster just like he knows. The action scenes are spectacular specially the forest fight following tto the death of Optimus Prime, the most heartbreaking scene of the movie and the explosive desert scene.
Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen may not be brilliant as the first one but is one kick ass movie. One of the most spectacular blockbusters of the year,Revenge of the Fallen delivers 2 hours of insane action.Recommedable for the Transformers fans.

While visiting the Earth at Night, a group of alien botanists is discovered and disturbed by an approaching human task force. Because of the more than hasty take-off, one of the visitors is left behind. The little alien finds himself all alone on a very strange planet. Fortunately, the extra-terrestrial soon finds a friend and emotional companion in 10-year-old Elliot, who discovered him looking for food in his family's garden shed. While E.T. slowly gets acquainted with Elliot's brother Michael, his sister Gertie as well as with Earth customs, members of the task force work day and night to track down the whereabouts of Earth's first visitor from Outer Space. The wish to go home again is strong in E.T., and after being able to communicate with Elliot and the others, E.T. starts building an improvised device to send a message home for his folks to come and pick him up. But before long, E.T. gets seriously sick, and because of his special connection to Elliot, the young boy suffers, too. The situation gets critical when the task force finally intervenes.
