Excellent Films

better then very good, but not quite excellent. if that makes any sense

The first thirty minutes or so are flawless, after that it begins to lose its momentum. Nonetheless the film still remains very funny throughout.

somehow this film really works in spite of being highly melodramatic and quite often self consciously arty. it's very emotional though and it contains many poetic images.

the most underrated entry in the "Dead" series by far. Actually in my view this film is somewhat of an companion piece to Michael Powell's "Peeping Tom" (a filmmaker whom George greatly admired).

The character of Max was an annoying little twerp, unique no doubt, but annoying nonetheless.

I don't judge this as a "Batman" film, but as a comedy film something which it succeeds quite brilliantly at.

A terrific but highly flawed film...The late Heath Ledger is phenomenal in a all time great performance. (he honestly surprised me.)

A silly yet highly entertaining, quirky and visually imaginative escapist film.

I'm probably underrating this film.

A bit stagy but very effective, thanks to memorable performances and well done suspense.

Jackie Chan would've flourished in the silent era.
