National Lampoon's Vacation (1983,  R)
National Lampoon's Vacation 4.5 Stars
A classic. I practically grew up watching this, and the beginning song is STILL stuck in my head :D
One of those classic comedies that, despite the change in styles and trends in the movie, doesn't deserve to be forgotten, it's a classic that defies time, because it relies not on as much things of their time but on fundamental things that happen to anyone of any year, even if it's decades later!

This is one of the few comedies that doubles as a great christmas movie, and one that is still watchable even through the obvious changes of time

Sweet and hilarious, this movie is definatley one that would be fit to watch on a family night with a mixed auidence of all ages. Although this movie contains certain things that some parents would frown on showing their kids ("bad" words), it still manages to come across with a much better morale at the end than all of the Disney garbage of late put together.
Plus, it's refreshing to see movies made in that time period without it being in black-and-white, and all of the young boys in it saying stuff like, "Golly" and "Gee-Whiz!". You have to watch this.

A seriously fucked-up, disturbing movie experience. I loved it!

National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985,  PG-13)
National Lampoon's European Vacation 3.5 Stars
Very funny, but it is a movie that will never live up to the original Vacation. However, the Griswald's on vacation will ALWAYS be a good premise for a movie. Or, at least, a decent one.

The Addams Family (1991,  PG-13)
The Addams Family 4.5 Stars
Very cool. I can remember watching this when I was a wee little psychopath with ADHD. *sigh* very good memories.

Now, I may have never seen the origninal show/comic strip, but this movie is a classic to me, and although parts of it delve into the slapstick comedy area of movin' pictures, I always loved the areas where the movie takes place, the general ideas presented in it, and the interesting characters in the movie.

So, in end, if you're looking for something dark and disturbing for the thrills, look elsewhere- but, if you're looking to the dark and disturbing for some family fun and a few chuckles, you've come to the right place.

Bingo (1991,  PG)

Very good children's movie, and is even tolerable to adults. Somewhat. Again, if you're looking for something for someone under the sage of 13 to be entertained with, this is a good choice.
