Ghost Rider (2007, PG-13)
Oh i really enjoyed this Movie!! Sexy Nicolas Cage was great but the "age thing" with the character confused me as Cage is over 40 so i couldn't really work out what age the character was supposed to be. But thats just my weird mind. Eva Mendes Pretty good as the Love interest and Donal Logue was great as Johnny Blaze's pal. But i loved the darkly delicious Wes Bentley, all mean and brooding as Blackheart!! Great story, Great cast and Acting and fantastic special effects and enough action to keep everyone entertained. Excellent film to relax and just enjoy, not challenging or tough to understand just a easy going funny film. Plus Motorcycles, Fire, Leather Outfits and Death Defying stunts is always a winner for me. |

V for Vendetta (2006, R)
very good movie, excellent combination of political establishment and action. draws on suppression of the people and the overuling power of freedom. the characters are very well develope with a great side plot to V's past and the link between V and Evey was enjoyable to watch. Good acting and excellent cast in Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving. |

Equilibrium (2002, R)
well what a fantastic movie, very underestimated as it slipped under the hype of the matrix films. Christian Bale is fantastic in this as is Sean Bean. the plot is solid and well thought out, it is fast paced and the fights and gun battles are marvelous! for a film trying to portray an emotionless world this really shines because of the harshness of the characters awakening to the society! very very good film! |

Kingdom of Heaven (2005, R)
Holy Crap !!!! Why was Orlando Bloom cast as the leading player in this film??? It would've been sooooo much better if they got someone who was able to emote and tap into the raw emotion that was needed from the character when leading his people into battle and risking thier lives. Sadly Bloom proves that although a pretty face and a genius with either a cutlass/sword and a bow, he just isn't credable as a rousing leader. I sure as hell wouldn't give my life to a cause after the dull speeches he gives and hell i love a brutal battle. Excellent performances from Edward Norton, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Liam Neeson. Best part is the Fantastically brutal and epic fight scenes! |

Jet Li's Fearless (Huo Yuan Jia) (Legend of a Fighter) (2006, PG-13)
Fantastic film. Incredable fight scenes and the martial arts are breath-takingly great. Jet Li as usual is fab and a really great supporting cast. I think that the story was really well depicted, showing some very valuable themes and cultural ideas that are crictical to the development of this story. |

Live Free or Die Hard (2007, PG-13)
Well Mr John McClane please step forward and take a bow!!!! Excellent addition to the Die Hard series, but very different to the other films. Firstly McClane has to protect geeky hacker Matt Farrell (Justin Long) from the "Bad guys" because Farrell has created part of a code being used my internet terrorist to ultimately close the USA down. |

Big Trouble in Little China (1986, PG-13)
A little bit dated now compared to the special effects and computer wizardy. ut still a really good film. kurt russell just has this way of making you grin when he's on screen, great performance, as truck driving, ass kicking, sword throwing Jack Burton. Some excelent action. Kim Cattrall is ok but her acting seems very forced at times. |
