The Chipmunk Adventure (1987,  G)
The Chipmunk Adventure 4.5 Stars
A wonderful film about the popular Chipmunks. It was really cool to see a full length film that the popular cartoon spun off. It was one of the better cartoon musical films I have seen.

Princess Mononoke (Mononoke-hime) (1997,  PG-13)
Princess Mononoke (Mononoke-hime) 5.0 Stars
Excellent quality, plot, characterization, and visuals. It seems slow by American movie standards - but it therefore has more heart and feels more real than a fast-paced action flik. It's amazing.

Bee Movie (2007,  PG)
Bee Movie 4.0 Stars
Funny and clever avoiding the cliches that could BEE rampant. This is yet another well done animated film for the year with a great cast including the wonderful Jerry Seinfeld as Barry B. Benson. It does not deal with political talk like Happy Feet's save the penguins which makes it 10 times more enjoyable! Definitely a worth-while watch and you better BEElieve it.

Great visualization and CGI. Very crisp and original film which succeeds in bringing Dr. Seuss' fantastic worlds to life. Funny and smart with timeless values and the quotes from the book make this a definite watch.

One of the most visually brilliant animated films (especially from the eighties). A classic that has a great story.
