comedy starring Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid and Anthony Michael Hall. written by John Hughes. directed by Harold Ramis.
wanting to spend more time with his wife and kids, Clark Griswold (Chase) decides to take the family on a cross-country vacation to Walley World... and along the way, everything that can happen, does happen.
the first and, in my opinion, the best of the Vacation films. hilarious script, penned by the late-great 80's master, John Hughes and of course, directed by the always awesome Harold Ramis. great cast that includes Eugene Levy, Eddie Bracken, Randy Quaid, John Candy, Anthony Michael Hall and the amazing Mr. Chevy Chase. I am so lucky to have been raised on Mr. Chase's films. he is truly one of the greats.
comedy starring James Franco, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Kevin Corrigan and Gary Cole. story by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Judd Apatow. directed by David Gordon Green.
you used to not give a fuck about discretion! I seen't you pull somebody jawbone off! I seen't it!
when a Process Server (Rogen) witnesses a murder, he and his pot dealer (Franco) end up the center of chaos.
weed, comedy and action. what more could you ask for in a film?
yet another great comedy from the Apatow crew. I was expecting to enjoy this one, just didn't know how much I was gonna love it.
an awesome cast and a hilarious script that is full of some of the best film quotes ever, make this one of my absolute favorites. ♥
okay, so I am thinking that this is one of those films that has to grow on you. at first, I didnt really care for this flick:
The only thing that saved this film from being an utter failure, were the new phrases that it provided me with ('danglin dice on the forehead' and 'moronical' are def going to be part of my vocab from now on XD) and the performance of RDjr. The purtyness of McConaughey didnt hurt either. At least it was a nice lil break from the idiocy that is strewn throughout this film. Otherwise, this film is a complete and total miss.
but now, I am kinda starting to warm up to this one. guess it's just one of those you need to re-watch in order to appreciate. ♥
romantic comedy starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo, Mike Myers, Candice Bergen, Christina Applegate and Kelly Preston. written by Eric Wald. directed by Bruno Barreto.
feeling like she is never going to get out of the small town she lives in, Donna Jensen (Paltrow) picks up a copy of My Life in the Sky the autobiography of Sally Weston (Bergen) and sets her sights on becoming a flight attendant.
very underrated chick flick. a sweet love story with some very funny moments and most of all, its a great story about following your dreams. ♥
even though almost 20 yrs (!)have passed since I first saw Wayne and Garth on SNL, I still have a thing for those two. RAWR... or should I say, SCHWING!
