probablly my favorite film that year. couldn't bring myself to watch it for a long time. the memories an emotions that it invokes are intense. not done in the style of so much from "hollywood", but done very thoughtfully. highly recommended.

Based on true events in the early '70's. Well acted, McConaughey does an excellent job. Supporting cast is solid. Aims for the heart and hits a bullseye. Inspiring and highly recommended.

hooked me in the beginning with the music of Satie, a perfect choice for this film, because of its sense of solitude and foreboding. I really enjoyed the couples changing relationship as the movie progressed, Watts and Norton are excellent and I too would single out Toby Jones in his supporting role. Highly Recommended.

Great acting by Forest Whitaker, he deserved the Oscar. thought it would have been better if some of the movie details were closer to the real events.
