A Christmas Story

Based on the short stories of author Jean Shepherd, A Christmas Story is a Christmas classic. Set it the 1940s, the story centers around Lil Ralphie Parker (Peter Billingsley) and his desire to obtain the most awesomest Christmas gift ever - 'an official Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-Shot, Range Model Air Rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time'.

The film also includes Darren McGavin and Melinda Dillon, who deliver very funny performances as Ralphie's parents. Great cast all around, funny script and sweet lil story. Not to mention some of the most memorable quotes and scenes ever.
