In the future, criminals are caught before the crimes they commit, but one of the officers in the special unit is accused of one such crime and sets out to prove his innocence. Tagline: What would you do if you were accused of a murder, you had not committed... yet? The story itself is great. It is intelligent, but also exciting with great action scenes. The visuals are truly beautiful and perfectly support the sci-fi story. If you like action thrillers and you don't mind they are set in the future (with some futuristic gadgets) this is your film

David Aames takes all he has for granted; his wealth, his inherited publishing company, his good looks - his relationships. Especially his relationships. It catches up to him when a friend/sometimes sex-partner can't see their relationship the way he sees it. From that point, the movie takes a Lynchian twist that ultimately and literally pulls us into Aames' tortured psyche.

It's been awhile since I've seen a truly enjoyable, mature action movie. With the slew of PG-13 action movies of recent years, it's refreshing to see one that at least acknowledges that many intense situations do involve language, sex, and mixed character reactions - it wasn't just another black and white, good and bad movie where the good guy does only good things and the bad guy has only evil intentions

This film has so many wonderful points, I can't list them all. I'm just going to say that "enjoy your dinner Richard" was a classic cinematic moment. A great thing about this film is that it's a wonderful representation of a microcosm of todays society. It shows that no matter how hard you try to escape all the wrongs in life, and all of your daily annoyances, they'll still be there no matter where you escape to.
Plot Outline: Not quite ready to surrender himself to responsibility or mainstream society, a young American travels to Asia and discovers he is not alone in his feelings.

O.K. Whether you like it or not, you can't disregard Armageddon. That it's not scientifically appropriate, that the plot has weak points etc. BUT SO WHAT???? Film making is an art form and you can't question the artist if there are people worth $600 million of box office, willing to see the movie. You can not tell the film maker how to make a movie. Armageddon was made to attract people's attention and it succeeds in it. You can't deny that..Yes. I accept every bad word told about the movie.

Very few movies come close, but don't overtake, this masterpiece. John Woo has unleashed an action movie that all should see at least once. And all action fans should own. The action scenes are fast and furious, the script is great, and the story is pretty good, and John Travolta and Nicholas Cage give excellent performances. See this movie now if you haven't already, or if you just haven't seen it recently you will not be disappointed.

"Final Destination" is a good fantastic movie that deserves to be watched
Plot Outline: After having a vision of his friends crashing in a plane, he tells them not to get on only later his friends start getting killed one by one.
Goofs: Factual errors: Alex dreamt that there was a decompression and part of the plane's fuselage broke off. This would neither be related to the scavenger fuel pump explosion nor would it cause such an explosion.

Awesome, one of the best films ever and Denzel Washington does a very convincing portrayal of the cop who crosses the line, but you have to agree with some of his motives. I love when he shoots Roger and Jake freaks out, he makes a very good point when Jake asks why he shot a friend. "Why was he my friend, because he knew my first name? Roger sold crack to kids and the world is a better place with him dead!" Every point he makes about modern day "street" justice rings very true to modern day crime and justice. It sets the tone very well for an awesome films and all though he is ultimately the bad guy, Alonzo Harris is one of the best characters to every grace the big screen and you can't help but like the guy. There are some great cameos from Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg
Plot Outline: On his first day on the job as a narcotics officer, a rookie cop works with a rogue detective who isn't what he appears as.

It's a good showcase for a talented young cast; Vin Diesel, who proves here he can play more than just action heroes, has a great scene where he closes a sale on the phone. Nia Long, as a romantic interest for Seth, looks great and offers a nice counterpart to the aggressively macho male characters in the film. And Ben Affleck pops up every once in a while to yell invective at the hapless newcomers to the firm.
Boiler Room is one hell of a film and even if you know very little about stocks and bonds and insider trading and what-not, there is still plenty in here to keep you intrigued.

Blow
(2001, R)
I find this movie VERY GOOD! In fact, the end nearly brought me to tears. This movie does something that shouldn't be, but it is. By the end of the movie, you feel SO SORRY for a drug dealing thief. It's amazing how they tell the story, and by the end you want to go see this man and say how sorry you were. I believe that it's one of Johnny's best roles and really makes you think some. This movie has been underrated by many people because it's about drugs, but the story is just a story, but the message it brings and the emotions it triggers, are lasting. I recommend this movie to anyone that wants to see a Good Film.

when i saw this intriguing film i was quite amaze at how much I enjoyed it.
This film that underrated. This film was appeared on US cinemas. As you may all already be aware, there are two versions of the film (well the Ending) and they both have completely different appeal, for me the directors ending is superior, it is more unexpected and far more shocking, but it does end the film on a slight downer, which is why the original release was happier (even though it didn't really fit the film) Definitely worth watching

Kids
(1995, NC-17)
Larry Clark has broken the boundaries with this film. Not only is it one of the realist depictions of our nation's youth, but it also brings the fear of the AIDS virus closer to home. This is not a piece of fictitious work, this is brutal honesty in its rawest form. While many will knock this film because of the pornographic nature, I saw past that and witnessed the birth of the next plague. Writer Harmony Korine has taken the world of our children and transferred it to the big screen. I never once saw this as a shock film or disgusting, I saw honesty and truth behind every scene. This is really what is happening in our backyards. Kids are not as young as they used to be, and are growing up in a world with more possibilities and distractions than ever before. This is the modern world, and these are the newest leaders.
Plot Outline: An amoral, HIV-positive skateboarder sets out to deflower as many virgins as possible while a local girl who contracted his disease tries to save his next target from her same fate.
Quotes from Kids
Telly: When you are young not much matters, when you find something you like that's all you got. (talking about sex)
Telly: Virgins. I love 'em. No diseases, no loose as a goose pussy, no skank. No nothin. Just pure pleasure.

A lot of people are saying that it is a seven wannabe and so on. While watching this movie I did not think of Seven .. To me this movie stood out on it's own. I thought the cinematography was really cool in this movie. The suspense was gripping and jaw dropping in some scenes. I do agree with some of the other reviewers that the acting was somewhat cheezy and bad but come on now. Most acting in horror movies is cheezy and over the top.If you liked this movie rent or buy Cube. If you liked Cube go see this movie. If you have a weak stomach and you are not into serial killer movies this isn't the movie for you.

The acting, particularly from Robbins and Penn, is immaculate. Robbins is still recovering from child sexual abuse along time ago. Penn, so realistically and amazingly, mourns over the loss of his daughter.
