Halloween (2007) (2007, R)
Rob Zombie is nothing short of amazing in making this film. The best part for me was not all the blood and gore, ironically, but the whole backstory. You really get to see why Michael Myers turned out the way he did, and to be perfectly honest, I would be just as demented, angry, and want to kill people if I had gone through what he did. All the acting and directing are top notch. A must see for every horror movie fan and Halloween fan. |

Donnie Darko (2001, R)
A very deep film. Kind of creepy, but also very touching in its own way. A very mysterious film. I had to watch it over again right after I watched it the first time. Jake Gyllenhaal is astounding in this one. The epitome of a cult classic. A must see for anyone. A great film. I can't say enough about it. It is just amazing. |

The Number 23 (1998, R)
A very mysterious and, at times, creepy film. Jim Carrey strays from his usual funny self, but he is still awesome. What is more creepy than the movie, is the number itself. After a few calculations, I found that "23" is embeded in every day life. One license plates, street signs, even in my own birthday. Everyone should give this one a chance. |
