Porky's (1982,  R)
Porky's
Really hilarious and the best comedy teen adult flick of the 1980s. I couldn't still stop laughing while Kim Cattrall is howling while having sex with a coach in boys' change room. And an ugly and fat female coach talking to the principal to find the 'tallywacker' who perverted her girls' shower, I followed three male coaches who was also guffawing.

Fast Times At Ridgemont High (1982,  R)
Fast Times At Ridgemont High
I loved this 1980's teen movie with it's share of laughs. This takes time to sensitively handle many of the tough issues teens face. Abortion, trust, abandonment and sexual fears are all dealt with fairly and believably.
There are many scenes that gives me alot of laughs - the carrot scene, as well as the interaction between rebel Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) and angry Mr. Hand (Ray Walston) are just fantastic.
It's a required viewing for teens, young adults, and anyone with a fondness for 80's culture.

All the Right Moves (1983,  R)
All the Right Moves
Emotional drama of a high school athlete's life for anything to escape his boring home town. Tom Cruise makes an excellent performance in his character role and Lea Thompson does a wonderful supporting role as a high school athlete's girlfriend.
4
Class (1983,  R)
Class
Good comedy about two preppies, one of whom falls in love with the other's alcoholic mother.
5
Risky Business (1983,  R)
Risky Business
Best of the 1980's teen sex comedy and Rebecca DeMornay is hottest actress who makes a dynamic movie debut as liberated call girl. She made me drooling. LOL!
6
The Karate Kid (1984,  PG)
The Karate Kid
Brilliant karate movie I first ever watched when I was 11 on the video tape. Pat Morita was a cool mentor by teaching his protege Macchio in karate skills before the competition against the bullies.
7
Footloose (1984,  PG)
Footloose
This is highly entertaining film that combines the rock beat exuberance of Flashdance and Risky Business with an entertaining - and even touching - story. I love it. And this is an exciting relflection of 1980s attitude and style, this lighthearted masterpiece set the standard for teen drama that still has an effect on our culture to this day - it's like memories after over 20 years.
8
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street
An ingenious new concept for a horror movie with Freddy Krueger, a genuinely sinister figure. The dream/reality trick is cunningly exploited, but the surprise ending fooled nobody.
9
The Goonies (1985,  PG)
The Goonies
My favourite childhood film that makes me laugh heaps. Excellent adventure movie for kids.
10
The Breakfast Club (1985,  R)
The Breakfast Club
Excellent, enjoyable and bloody funny of 80's teen movie. Good for teen must-see this comedy film.
11
Better Off Dead (1985,  PG)
Better Off Dead
This teen comedy film with mixture of cleavr ideas and awfully silly ones make me laugh and it's best when writer-director Savage Steve Holland throws in little sketches that stand out from the familiar plot.
12
Weird Science (1985,  PG-13)
Weird Science
Two nerds are funny, but I like Kelly LeBrook the best. Good teen comedy-fantasy movie.
13
Teen Wolf (1985,  PG)
Teen Wolf
A werewolf was amazingly good at basketball and wooing girls.
14
Back to the Future (1985,  PG)
Back to the Future
Cracking sci-fi adventure yarn, full of verve, originality excitement and wacky humour. A delight from start to finish.
15
Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985,  PG)
Girls Just Want to Have Fun
A teenager goes against her father's wishes and enters a dance competition. Something tells me we're seen something like this before. It's pretty cliched, but the endearing performers make it pass without too much pain.
16
Gotcha! (1985,  PG-13)
Gotcha!
The teen movie is funny, mystery and excitement - it's like James Bond in college. Anthony Edwards is well-cast as the young man being whirled into the wicked world of espionage behind the Iron Curtain, and Linda Fiorentino is so seductive and sexy in a strange mysterious way.
17
Stand by Me (1986,  R)
Stand by Me
Marvellous, engaging adventure about boyhood revisited that evokes memories.
18
Some Kind of Wonderful (1987,  PG-13)
Some Kind of Wonderful
Eric Stoltz stars as an affable lad who can't seem to make any headway with women. Unaware of the deep affection hurled in his direction by constant companion Mary Stuart Masterson (who all but steals the show), Stoltz sets his sights high on Lea Thompson. Perceptive, thoughtful viewing.
19
The Lost Boys (1987,  R)
The Lost Boys
Exciting adventure, horror and little funny of bratpack hunting a group of teens with a taste for blood.
20
Dirty Dancing (1987,  PG-13)
Dirty Dancing
Awesome of the couple doing 'dirty dancing' that make it look bloody sexy, but Jennifer Grey is more hotter.
21
License to Drive (1988,  PG-13)
License to Drive
More wildly and funny with the Coreys in a Cadillac car of the late 1980s. Lots of laughs!
22
Running on Empty (1988,  PG-13)
Running on Empty
Extremely well-made drama film looks at a fugitive family that has been on the lam from the FBI for years.
23
The Blob (1988,  R)
The Blob
This is really shocker and the best remake of the horror movie with better effects than the original.
24
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - The Dream Master (1988,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - The Dream Master
Freddy Kruger's returns in this fourth installment to continue his favourite pastime, killing teenagers in their dreams, is played to hilt with fantastic special effect than the past three series.
25
Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood (1988,  R)
Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood
Freaky serial killer vs teleiness teen girl alike 'Carrie'.
