Really hilarious and the best comedy teen adult flick of the 1980s. I couldn't still stop laughing while Kim Cattrall is howling while having sex with a coach in boys' change room. And an ugly and fat female coach talking to the principal to find the 'tallywacker' who perverted her girls' shower, I followed three male coaches who was also guffawing.
I loved this 1980's teen movie with it's share of laughs. This takes time to sensitively handle many of the tough issues teens face. Abortion, trust, abandonment and sexual fears are all dealt with fairly and believably. There are many scenes that gives me alot of laughs - the carrot scene, as well as the interaction between rebel Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) and angry Mr. Hand (Ray Walston) are just fantastic. It's a required viewing for teens, young adults, and anyone with a fondness for 80's culture.
Emotional drama of a high school athlete's life for anything to escape his boring home town. Tom Cruise makes an excellent performance in his character role and Lea Thompson does a wonderful supporting role as a high school athlete's girlfriend.
Best of the 1980's teen sex comedy and Rebecca DeMornay is hottest actress who makes a dynamic movie debut as liberated call girl. She made me drooling. LOL!
Brilliant karate movie I first ever watched when I was 11 on the video tape. Pat Morita was a cool mentor by teaching his protege Macchio in karate skills before the competition against the bullies.
This is highly entertaining film that combines the rock beat exuberance of Flashdance and Risky Business with an entertaining - and even touching - story. I love it. And this is an exciting relflection of 1980s attitude and style, this lighthearted masterpiece set the standard for teen drama that still has an effect on our culture to this day - it's like memories after over 20 years.
An ingenious new concept for a horror movie with Freddy Krueger, a genuinely sinister figure. The dream/reality trick is cunningly exploited, but the surprise ending fooled nobody.
This teen comedy film with mixture of cleavr ideas and awfully silly ones make me laugh and it's best when writer-director Savage Steve Holland throws in little sketches that stand out from the familiar plot.
A teenager goes against her father's wishes and enters a dance competition. Something tells me we're seen something like this before. It's pretty cliched, but the endearing performers make it pass without too much pain.
The teen movie is funny, mystery and excitement - it's like James Bond in college. Anthony Edwards is well-cast as the young man being whirled into the wicked world of espionage behind the Iron Curtain, and Linda Fiorentino is so seductive and sexy in a strange mysterious way.
Eric Stoltz stars as an affable lad who can't seem to make any headway with women. Unaware of the deep affection hurled in his direction by constant companion Mary Stuart Masterson (who all but steals the show), Stoltz sets his sights high on Lea Thompson. Perceptive, thoughtful viewing.
Freddy Kruger's returns in this fourth installment to continue his favourite pastime, killing teenagers in their dreams, is played to hilt with fantastic special effect than the past three series.
