Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
Not a huge Will Ferrell fan, but definitely one after this flick. He and Sasha Baron Cohen were absolutely hilarious. Anybody know where I can get a Crystal Gayle t-shirt?
2
Zoolander (2001,  PG-13)
Zoolander
Seriously, one of the funniest films I've ever seen, because sadly there's really not that much exaggeration....

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004,  R)
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Love, love, love this film. It gets better everytime you watch it. Don't watch DVD commentary, it's a bit pretentious and obnoxious.

Saving Face (2005,  R)
Saving Face
Bend it Like Beckham, only with Chinese people and lesbians. Great movie.
5
Bend It Like Beckham (2003,  PG-13)
Bend It Like Beckham
Sentimental favourite, I love films that illustrate how crazy Indian people can be (no hate mail, i'm half).

Be Cool (2005,  PG-13)
Be Cool
I know i'll get hated on for this, but I loved this film, and i didn't even really like the first one. Vince Vaughn and the Rock make worth watching on repeat. Like Zoolander, also funny because it's not really that exaggerated.

10 Things I Hate About You
Everyone has their teen romance/comedy nostalgic pick. This one of mine...
12
Good Bye, Lenin (2004,  R)
Good Bye, Lenin
Comical, and a bit of an odd look at East Germany's former socialist republic. Still very endearing.
13
Pleasantville (1998,  PG-13)
14
Mona Lisa Smile (2003,  PG-13)
Mona Lisa Smile
Really liked this film. Great acting, and cast, despite Julia Roberts who was bearable in this situation.
15
Under the Tuscan Sun (2003,  PG-13)

Little Women (1994,  PG)

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006,  PG-13)

Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl
Johnny Depp is a riot.

Inventing the Abbotts (1997,  R)
Inventing the Abbotts
Nostaligic favourite. Great ensemble cast and period piece. A slightly atypical love story.
21
A Little Princess (1995,  G)
A Little Princess
I'm many are not aware this film was directed by Alfonso Cuarón. After seeing the film, this should be obvious. The cinematography is sumptuous and the story line is classic and moving.
22
Whale Rider (2003,  PG-13)
23
Monsoon Wedding (2001,  R)
Monsoon Wedding
Great storyline. Great cast. Mira Nair has created a wonderfully contemporary Indian film.
24
Meet Joe Black (1998,  PG-13)
25
Noi (2003,  PG-13)
Noi
Some of the funniest moments I've ever seen in a film.
26
Love Actually (2003,  R)
27
Spanglish (2004,  PG-13)
Spanglish
I think the movie hit all the right notes for this genre. Great cast. Adam Sandler and Paz Vega shine.
28
Paris Je T'aime (2007,  R)
Paris Je T'aime
While some of these were hokey, there were definitely a few worthwhile standouts.
29
Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005,  R)
Me and You and Everyone We Know
This is one of the most special and endearing movies I've seen in a long time.
30
Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008,  PG-13)
Vicky Cristina Barcelona
Can't go wrong with this setting, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz. Although that might be Woody Allen's gift is making it feel so effortless in its romantic leanings both hopeful and ultimately melancholic.

A Knight's Tale (2001,  PG-13)
