Good idea never really reaching its potential, down to the fact that the film runs more like a training video for the us navy, and to many stereotypical old fashion americanisms for the japanese in the second world war. Still good performances from the leads and fun fighter pilot scenes save the day. |

WOW....I never thought someone could remember the final countdown...i forgot to put that one on my science fiction list...I love the effect of the vortex in the ocean...it's just a laser and some smoke!
