Films of Sidney Lumet
Easily THE most underrated director of all time. Seriously, have you read his book? The man is amazing and definitely does not get the praise he deserves. I guess people are too busy being fondled by the visuals of Michael Bay movies.

Surprisingly still entertaining and thrilling, despite being re-spun into a thousand different other types of robbery movies, i.e. The Inside Man. Pacino delivers and a well thought out movie through and through. |

A smart and tightly written script with a great cast. Fonda soars as the most reasonable of the 12 men in the jury. |

Prince of the City (1981, R)
Really great look at the corrupt NYPD, or more specifically, the Special Investigation Unit. Treat Williams did a surprisingly good job and the rest of the cast was pretty much spot on. Lumet's a great director, and sadly, this is one of his better films that has been overlooked and forgotten. |
