1
Titanic (1997,  PG-13)
Titanic
It's boring. The Jack and Rose thing goes on to long but it gets good towards the end and Kate Winslet looks good in it!
2
The Wicker Man (2006,  PG-13)
The Wicker Man
This has to be one of the worst remakes ive ever seen! This has lost any of that freaky, pagan ritual style weirdness of the original and it seems to have been replaced with lame attempts at being freaky and Nicolas Cage being awkward and not knowing what to do with his role as the police officer visiting a small villiage looking for a lost girl only to be greeted by an all female village of weirdo's!Something Edward Woodward coped with so well. And the fact that the main "bad guy" was played by a woman made it even worse.Where was Christopher Lee in a dress?!And where was the naked woman randomly walking around her room?!Where were the freaky pagan rtuals? In the original, thats where! Not clever, not freaky, just crap.
3
Batman & Robin (1997,  PG-13)
Batman & Robin
Half a point for seeing Alicia Silverstone putting her suit on.One of the worst films ever with, confusingly,a pretty good cast!
4
Congo (1995,  PG-13)
Congo
This film is crap.Saw it on tv the other night and the whole thing is just stupid.I can't believe Bruce Campbell has a cameo in this, although his bit is the best bit in the film!
5
Pulse (2006,  PG-13)
Pulse
This US remake of an already average japanese ghost story/horror starts off ok and has some good moments but the overall feel is a bit messy and rushed,i didn't really feel like anything was explained properly and the ending was very anti-climatic.In a way it leaves it open for a sequel but by the end of this you won't give a shit about a sequel!Nothing special.
6
Snuff-Movie (Man with a Movie Camera) (,  Unrated)
Snuff-Movie (Man with a Movie Camera)
Pretty good idea, some ok moments and not a bad twist but, unfortunately, its been done loads of times before.
7
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986,  R)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
Well,i wasn't to sure what to make of this film.It didn't seem to know whether it wanted to be a horror or comedy!Fair enough, there are some "what the fuck?",slightly disturbing moments and Bill Mosely is very good as the completely mental Chop-Top and obviously,Dennis Hopper is great as the lunatic looking for revenge on the family that killed his family but im not totally sure what kinda direction they were going for with this one.Obviously, the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre was going to be a tough act to follow and i don't think they could have got much darker than that at the time so they obviously went for a more black comedy route which is fair enough but at times its confusing and a bit messy.Overall, not bad but nowhere near the original.
8
Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005,  G)
Herbie: Fully Loaded
Well i'd seen a few Herbie films before so thought i'd check out this boxing day badboy! It's nothing special,a car thats alive helps a young female racer win some races.Or something.Matt Dillon and Justin Long give it a bit of credability and Lynsey Lohan is so fit im gona give my review an extra half star just for her!
9
AVP - Alien Vs. Predator (2004,  PG-13)
AVP - Alien Vs. Predator
This is one of those films that i really wanted to love because, like alot of people,i enjoyed the Predator and Alien movies but once you get over the excitment of seeing them again you realise that as a film its nothing special.Sure, Predator still has some great weapons and the Alien is still pretty scary but cool to look at and the moments where they fight are cool but,i dunno, its just not that great overall. It seems they knew how cool it would be to have these two fighting against each other, came up with an ok,passable, story but weren't to sure what to do with it.Ok,but disappointing overall.
10
American Pie Presents: Beta House (2007,  R)
American Pie Presents: Beta House
This isn't exactly a good film.A few good jokes and gags here and there but overall this just proves that the American Pie franchise is dead on its feet. But saying that there's loads of fit women in it which has saved it from a one/one and a half star rating!
11
Captivity (2007,  R)
Captivity
This was pretty good.Very good in parts. But the twist was revealed far to early and from then on it went downhill a bit which was a shame because it had the potential to be a very good, psychological horror film.
12
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003,  PG-13)
2 Fast 2 Furious
I saw most of it.Its just rubbish but it gets a point cos Eva Mendes is in it!
13
Cradle of Fear (2000,  Unrated)
Cradle of Fear
When you read "The best british gore film since Hellraiser" on top of a dvd cover you immediately get high hopes.Unfortunately this doesn't live up to those high hopes. It's a B-movie and you can tell going by the dodgy acting and cheap effects. It's ok though.Sort of.A mental serial killer called Kemper is locked up in an asylum but has a servant on the outside to do his murders for him and you basically see the victims stories and their demise as the film goes on.There's some very gory moments and the soundtracks not bad and feature's Cradle of Filth, whose vocalist,Dani Filth, plays Kemper's servant.Overall, despite a couple of unessesary gore moments, and the dodgy acting, for a B-movie,it's not bad i suppose.
14
Catwoman (2004,  PG-13)
Catwoman
No.
15
The Recruit (2003,  PG-13)
The Recruit
Thriller with Al Cappacino and Colin Farrell. When a computer whizz is persuaded to join the CIA it seems like a great opportunity but as the young man is trained it soon becomes clear that something strange is going on and he gets told he has been recruited to follow a girl who the CIA believe to be a mole trying to work for them and gain knowledge of their secrets, but it just so happens that this girl is also the recruit's love interest. Can he put aside his feelings to spy on this girl?Is there more to Cappacino's character than meets the eye?Does anyone give a shit?I didn't.This film takes to long to get to the main point of it and by the time it does your really not bothered anymore so by the time the "twist" that we all saw coming finally does arrive your sitting there wondering why you wasted your time and wishing that that girl turned out to be an actual mole to make things more interesting.Fair play to Colin Farrell,he puts in a good performance, but that can't save the film from ending up in the same dodgy films league with all the other dodgy, identikit action thrillers around nowadays.
16
Hitman (2007,  R)
Hitman
This was an average attempt at bringing the computer game to the big screen. It has a few exciting moments and shoot-outs and the actor playing Number 47(or 37,it was one of those 2!)does an ok job but comes across as a bit wooden/bored at times, also the story gets a bit confusing and you don't really care for any of the characters but as a sit back and enjoy the gun-play kinda film this could be worse i suppose.
17
Book of Shadows - Blair Witch 2 (2000,  R)
Book of Shadows - Blair Witch 2
After the success of the first film i suppose it was obvious there was going to be a sequel in some form or another. This is a more straight forward "hollywood" movie about a group of people interested in the Blair Witch Project and the actual legend itself who go out on one of the cash-in tours of the Burkitsville woods. However, obviously, things don't go to plan and they get wrapped up in the curse themselves. As horror films go its nothing special,it has its moments and isn't a bad idea but the documentry style and mystery surrounding the first film were so great you can't help but feel it was slightly ruined by a rushed follow-up.The only thing that saves this film really is the decent soundtrack and the ok twist but overall this is nothing special and nowhere near as good as the first.
18
Resident Evil (2002,  R)
Resident Evil
I wanted this to be old school horror, not futuristic thriller!Zombies work best when its dark, cold, misty and eerie. Not in some lab!
19
Stealth (2005,  PG-13)
Stealth
A team of three stealth fighter pilots test out a new machine in a flight but it malfunctions and starts randomly attacking countries and this could lead to World War 3.Which of course,it doesn't.
Not even the sight of Jessica Biel in tight clothes and a bikini and a few cool explosions could save this from being a bit shit.
20
The X-Files: I Want to Believe (The X Files 2) (2008,  PG-13)
The X-Files: I Want to Believe (The X Files 2)
I was looking forward to this as i was hoping we'd get to see old school Mulder and Scully tackling the kind of paranormal activity that Mulder believes in so strongly in and Scully just doesn't and tries to shoot down his theories but the sight of UFO's,aliens and the like will be so obvious and exciting to all involved that you'll be leaving the cinema looking up,hoping to see a spaceship or something.Or at least there'd be some human with some kind of shape shifting, mind bending power that amazes and scares at the same time.
But what do i get? Some crap thriller. For a show made famous for its paranormal based storylines you would have thought more effort would have been made in that department but all there is is a telepathic peodaphille priest. And if that wasn't bad enough they cast some rapper called Xzibit as an FBI guy.I was expecting him to break into a rap whenever he spoke. Apart from the excitment of seeing Mulder and Scully(especially Scully, who gets fitter with age) again there was nothing to suggest another film should have been made.Very disappointing.
21
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008,  PG-13)
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Ok, flixster won't let me put this into my "films i don't like" list for some reason.Let me write a review for it anyway. But still, if you've seen the other mummy films then don't bother with this one as it's practically the same as the first two. Brendan Fraser's good as ever and its always a pleasure to see Maria Bello, although Rachel Weiz was better in that role, Bello's far to hammy, and the CGI's pretty good but its the dodgy script, crap jokes and same repeated formula that make this a bit shit. Overall, not bad family entertainment but in terms of decent films/cinema all round, this is pretty far from good.
22
The Dukes of Hazzard (2005,  PG-13)
The Dukes of Hazzard
This film made me laugh.Once. And Jessica Simpson looks good in a fake slut kinda way.
Thats it.
23
Just Friends (2005,  PG-13)
Just Friends
A bit better than i though it would be with some funny moments and not a bad story for what it is(dodgy rom-com) but Ryan Reynolds trying to be Jim Carey didn't work but Anna Farris was pretty funny.
24
The Big Easy (1986,  R)
The Big Easy
Well,i usually start my reviews by saying what type of film it was but i'm not actually sure and to be honest i don't think the film makers knew either! It was described as a "steamy thriller" which to be honest is why i checked it out, but there was no steam.Anywhere. Basically, this smarmy cop played by dennis quaid is not only investigating corruption but seems to be involved in it to, so a weird looking from some angles, attractive from others district attorney is sent in to check out local murders and stuff and its not long before Quaids' charming her with his funny voiced ways as she discovers that his characters more than just a cop,he's a bit of a badboy to.This doesn't seem to know if it wants to be a thriller or a comedy so sits uneasily between both.Misleading cover to, the dirty bastards!
25
Three (Survival Island) (,  Unrated)
Three (Survival Island)
Three people(clues in the title)get shipwrecked on a deserted island,a rich married couple and their servant. Billy Zane starts slowly going mental and gets paranoid his wife is having an affair with the servant.Which she is/does.This makes getting off the island an even more difficult task because of the tension, jealousy and that.Thats about it.It's always a pleasure to see Kelly Brook in action.Literally in this case. But this film is tit achingly dull and a complete waste of time.
26
The Amityville Horror (1979,  R)
The Amityville Horror
Ok in parts but a bit boring overall.
27
Five Across the Eyes (2006,  Unrated)
Five Across the Eyes
What a load of old shit.A bunch of annoying girls are driving back home from a night out or something but get terrorised by this woman who is mental for seemingly no reason! The only good bit was when the girls got their revenge(don't worry,i haven't ruined anything like a cool twist or something)and because the film was shot on what looks like the cheapest camera ever it kinda looks like a snuff movie, which adds some realism!Other than that, dodgy story, annoying characters, crap acting, crap sound, crap soundtrack.Just...crap.
28
Disclosure (1994,  R)
Disclosure
Drama with Michael Douglas who's being sued for sexual harassment by his new boss, sexy Demi Moore, who actually used to be his girlfriend. Douglas is the head of some IT department in a big company but when Moore steps in to become Vice President she wants Douglas out, and him, sort of, turning down her sexual advances gives her the perfect opportunity to make up a story to get rid of him. It's not the worst film ever i suppose but the script isn't up to much and Michael Douglas kinda just walks through his lines. I'm guessing this was meant to show that women can be just as manipulative and powerful as men in the work place and in the mid 90's maybe that was a big deal but nowadays it just doesn't seem relevant and despite the satisfying ending, and an appearance from Donald Sutherland(who i couldn't tell whether he was in on Moore's plan or not) this went on for far to long and overall is a bit dull and crappy.
29
Wind Chill (2007,  R)
Wind Chill
It's a shame this film turned out to be not that interesting or scary because it's not a bad idea and the actings pretty good to. A pretty female student needs a ride home and accepts a lift from a fellow male student who seems to know a bit to much about her. On the way back the car crashes in a remote area and the two begin getting haunted by previous people who died in that area. Like i said, not a bad idea but overall this film is pretty dull.
30
Dark Power (1985,  Unrated)
Dark Power
B-movie horror about some ancient cult/tribe waking every thousand years to wreak havoc on an area where they died thousands of years ago. Or something. It's really crap with horrible characters and rubbish music and a whip fight! But one of the zombie monster things was pretty cool and one of the female characters was fit so y'know, at least its got a couple of things going for it!
31
The Slaughterhouse Massacre (Sickle) (2005,  R)
The Slaughterhouse Massacre (Sickle)
Ok-ish b-movie horror about a group of teens unleashing the ghost of mental Marty Sickle in an old slaughter house. This kinda thing has been done loads before and better. There's a few good gory moments and one or two ok performances for what it is but overall, nothing special.
32
Silent Blood Night (2005,  Unrated)
Silent Blood Night
Horror from cult B-movie raggamuffins, Brain Damage Films. When a local news reporter hears about a murder, she investigates, but bites off more than she can chew when a mentalist starts a killing spree. Theres bad gore, crap acting and nudity everywhere in this film that despite being shit has some sort of weird charm to!

How the hell you were disappointed by the first Resident Evil film?It was full of action, good plot, and the best female ass-kickers(milla and michelle)...Why Tomb Raider is not on the list?It was 10000 times worse...Hitman and the the Dukes aren't that bad...I haven't seen yet the original Amityville but the remake is awesome...
