This film gets props for being the best Nightmare on Elm street, it's another great 80's horror flick that also happens to be hilarious. The deaths are pretty gruesome though esp. for it's time. Freddie is one of my fav villians, and plus he did suck Johnny Depp through a bed sooo cool.

this is a great moral teaching film, and the characters are real esp. the fact that Sedgewick did not change his attitude as he grew older, it shows that not everyone will turn out to be the best person at heart. not only does it teach it's audience but it also has it's humourous sides esp. when we see the students of st.benedicts as kids, i thought jesse eisenbergs character was the funniest and he did it so well, all of the actors we're great. Kevin Kline did another outstanding job, and at first i found his character a but annoying but i soon realised it was because i found him uptight and Kline played him so well that you didn't feel the need to love the character or sympathize with him.

at first i was unsure of this film because i found it to be a bit final destination like, with the first few scenes and up until they actually got into the cave i wasn';t sure was going to happen. but once the ball started rolling i soon found out i was to be trapped into a film very very horrifying. Those creatures i will admit were terrifying, from the way they screech to their eyes. Neil Marshall created something very intelligent and definetely a new gae classic horror film.

i always get eerie of new age horror films because a lot of them are shitty remakes filled with stupid sex scenes, so i was really pleasently surprised with this film. Not only are there no pointless sex scenes but it had a great original story to it. There were some intense scenes that actually had you skirming but it wasn';t too over top which brought some realisticness to it. I think all the actors did great for a horror film, and the ending is just great, one event after another non-stop.

this film is 70's horror film at it's best. Wes Craven's first film definetely shows us his talent in this craft. It's more disturbing than anything, the fact that they took these 2 innocent girls and raped them without any remorse, from the moment thy kidnap them to the attempted escaps until the moment they come to their fates my eyes were glued to the screen.

this film was truly genius, you really grow with the main character sherry, you feel her when she's angry and wanting to refuge with people whom she thinks feel the same way. And then we see her get teased and taken advantage of, amke friends and realise the true nature of some of the members of SPARK.It's hard not to be on Sherry's sid every step of the film and Ellen Page did an amazing job at making sure we did. I personally believe every actor was exceptional in this.

to be honest i was expecting much more of this film i wish it had been more entertaining, some of the parts were a bit boring but nevertheless i still found it to be a pretty good film and it gets points for the steve buschemi appearances. The film definetely has it's funny moments, but i just found it to a big lack of interesting points and the main girl and boy character were very boring to watch, i found the other characters to be much more captivating.

it was a great children's film, and dustin hoffman did a great job with the character trying to steer him away from the willy wonka feel. I just felt as though the film was a bit too fast paced, i thought jason bateman and zach mills were bst in it, he did a great job playing the oddball kid.

i don't even know where to begin with this film because my petty words wouldnt be enough to praise this film's geniusness. All 2 hours and 38 mins of it were more than worth it. I wasn't too familiar with Daniel-Day Lewis before seeing this film (having only seen 'The Bounty' prior) and now after only this one rivating performance he has become one of my heros. He embodies Plainview to his fullest making you want to like him at the beginning and then making up despise every bit of him. Paul Sunday the boy preacher was amazingly played by Paul Dano who's performance should have been nominated and praised. There isn't one element of this film i do not like, from the directing, to the cinematography, to the soundtrack to the amaizng acting, everything is genius and Paul Thomas Anderson has created a cult classic. Milkshakes for all!!

after seeing Death Proof (i had seen Planet Terror first) i truly cannot choose which is my favorite. I absolutly LOVED the 70's feel to it, Quentin filmed this which amazing precision i loved how there was a scene that skipped like there was something wrong with the film and as usual Quentin's choice of music was genius, esp. the english/french cover of 'Laisse tomber les filles'. The dialogue was spot on and he knew when exactly to move on from a scene to keep us entertained. All the girls were amazing esp. the last 4. Kurt Russell was quite hilarious and i still don't understant why Stunt Man Mike hated all those women so much but that makes the film even better.

A Cohen brothers masterpiece truly it was amazing. I loved how intense it was and all the silence that just help build up to Anton's gruesome killings. Bardem was genius and played a beast of a villain, there is no doubt you didn't truly beleive he could actually be a mass murderer. Brolin was amazing as always, great at leadng us all through his journey of getting away with the money and escaping from the villanous Anton.

it's safe to say this has to be the saddest film i've ever seen. Sean Penn's performance was so touching and inspiring and he no doubt should have won an oscar for it. You see his dedication and love for this role and he portrayed it so well. Usuallyi'm iffy on Beatles covers but i must say Penn chose amazing people to cover the tracks because they we're great and went well with the film. Fanning and Pfeiffer were genius as well, both pulling off a top notch performances.

I was really hoping for more with this film, i can't quite put my finger on what it was i wanted more of but it was probably missing more blood. I was hoping to see a much more gruesome gangster and i didn't find him to be. Although Denzel did play off his seriousness very very well. Rusell Crowe did an amazing job as well and i think i liked his character better than Frank Lucas to be honest. And i was very glad to see Josh Brolin in this, he was probably my favorite in the film.

this has to be the funnist horror film ive ever seen and in the best possible way. You can tell this film was made to poke fun at all the classic horror/zombie films, from the characters to the plot itself. It definetely resembles an 80's teen flick except with blood and zombies. The fact that it's originally in german makes it even cooler and that much more fun.

i really was not expecting this film to be THAT good, it has to be one of the best modern horror films i've seen in a while. The blood and gore was just fantastic and there wasn't any lacking of it which we lack to see in many new horror films.
it didnt stick to a horrible sappy love story to ruin the film, there was hardly any timefor it with those gruesomes vampires. Also Slade's take on the look on vampires has to be the best one ive seen yet, i haven't ever seen such terrifying vampires.

i think for this film to work you had to really believe the actors were their character and Goslin and Epps did it soo well. Ryan Gosling no doubt once again blew my mind out of the water, there is no part in the film where you find yourself thinking 'oh he's just reading lines' he gets you so into it, and you realy believe he's this drug addict teacher. the story is also very unique with a teacher who developps this quirky relationship withone of his students and thankfully they we're able to pull it off and not make it seem like he was a peadophile, or make it some sort of sexual relationship. i highly recommend this film

i was lead to believe that this film was just purely filled with sex so i was weiry of watching but i am more than glad i did. This film was definetly one of the more epic films of 2007 (along with 'there will be blood' 'juno' and 'no counrty for old') i was sooooo amazed with the story and what made me fall in love with it was the way the story was told, you would see a scene which left you wondering what exactly had happened and then they go back and show you all the details through someone elses eyes, it's just brilliant. All 3 main actors we're genius, this is probably Keira Knightley's best role in my opinion and James Mcavoy has always been brilliant and only accelerated with this role, but Saoirse Ronan just blew my mind she was GENIUS and no doubt deserved the oscar.

i think this film tried a bit too hard to be original but it didn't really work. The acting was kind of lame and this is one film i feel bad for saying so. I thought perhaps the film could be saved because of Christopher Eccleston but not even he could pull it together

this film has a great mix of everything, horror, comedy and romance which thankfully wasn't too overbearing. The story was original and made a lot of sense and they found an intelligent way to cut Kale off from the world by taking away all his forms of entertainement. Shia was great in his role and Morse was very sinister which called for this role and Aaron yoo was everybit of hilariousness
