This movie was beautiful yet disturbing. Watching the pain these young boys felt was sad yet it was done in an incredibly entertaining style. The black humour worked well with the themes of suicide and self harm and the directing was amazing.

At first i thought I had started watching a romance how wrong was I?

I only wish it had less violence and more aspects of the fairytale. But overall a haunting film.

Not as good as the original Japanese version but still worth a watch for the heartbreaking story.

Unique and fascinating movie about love. It looked absolutely stunning and the acting was superb. I have to say the 2 disc DVD is one of the most beautifully packaged movies I own.

Definitely disturbing, a must see if you enjoyed the short version in 3 extremes as it makes much more sense and is therefor more enjoyable. Miriam Yeung is brilliant in this film clearly very talented.

Although I've never been one for films aimed at females I found this one unique and surprisingly touching. Sylvia Chang was brilliant as the unlucky in love middle aged Lilly. But Angelica Lee is defiantly the standout with her touching performance of Xiao Jie. Her flirtatious relationship with her singing partner highlights how gay and straight relationships suffer the same struggles. I would recommend this film to anyone who wants a unique look at relationships for women in the modern world.

Three brilliant short films that showed the often horrible nature of human beings. All three were great and I personally can't decide which was best.

I really enjoyed this thriller although I usually don't like them. Potente is as charming as ever. The first dissection scene is particularily haunting. Casual conversation while dissecting a live person anyone?

Hilarious and touching a unique and quirky romantic comedy.

Stunning look into the dark thoughts of sadists. I really liked how unreal the special effects looked it just made it more entertaining. Kakihara may just have the ultimate body mod.
