Three really intresting stories. Dumplings was my favorite but also probably the most disgusting "film" I've ever seen. But in the best way possible. Can't wait to see the full length. Cut was a bit incoherent as far as a plot but I love the film style and will be sure to find more films by Park Chan-wook. Box was beautiful and genuinely creepy. Overall, I wasn't disappointed.
Wasn't really scary until the very end. Also was pretty sad. I thought it was a lot like the Ring.. which makes sense since it's made by the same guy. Good though.
How is it I haven't rated this yet? This is one of my favorite movies ever. Ever ever ever. It's so disturbing and so sick and yet so beautiful and so dreamy. I don't know how Chan-wook Park does it. He's brilliant, though. Obviously.
I liked it more than the first one. I just don't think it should have been a sequel to The Eye. It really didn't have anything to do with the premise of the first one. Other than being able to see ghosts.
Eh. I wanted to really like this movie but to tell you the truth, the first hour was pretty boring. Oh well. Hopefully I will like Lady Vengeance more.
For about the first hour, I was like .... HUH? Totally confused. But when it all kind of came together half way through, I fell in love with it. I can't wait to watch this again.
