Amazing film,tells the story of Yuichi a teenage boy who's life sees him dealing with violence,bullying,& alienation in the world around him,his one escape however from reality is that of Lily Chou-Chou's world a pop star who has her own website were Yuichi feels free from the clutches of the real world and is able to express his true self through her music.Shows a harsh look at adolescence and what some people have to do to survive it,not everyone is as lucky.one of a kind highly recommended.

Directed by Mel Gibson,also subtitled ,i thought this film was quite disturbing,but i must say i enjoyed it.

First half of the movie was quite amusing tells the story of Daniel and his friend Grandpa(Roger)they both meet Fran who works in the local bakery,Grandpa having met her first is upset that she choses to fall for Daniel and not him.
The second half of the movie focuses on Daniel and his lack of responsabilities which see him landing in court,thats where the judge turns up,the focus for some reason switches to him i'm unsure why,i think they just both have the same feelings about their life at that paticular time(thats my theory)the focus being on family as Daniel finds out he is to become a father.
B&W with one shot of colour,i liked it had it's good moments.

Jan and Peter are not the normal activists,in their ideals to change the world they become The Edukators to those around them who in their eyes have to much of a good thing,(money)picking houses to break into the pair never take anything just rearrange things and leave a message.
When Jule enters the picture complications arise.
Some real issues come to light in the movie about the way some people live there lives without realising what pain they cause others,great movie.

Great French movie,pretty messed up.

This movie is based on the true stories of it's mostly non-proffesional cast,it follows two young teen boys Marek and David who after running away from their homes meet up on the seedy streets of Prauge,out of hunger and desperation they are soon picked up and thrown in to a world of prostitution,drugs,and petty theft,after his friend David is arrested Marek loses the plot,a pretty disturbing film some great performances .

this was a real interesting movie i totally enjoyed it,worth watching.

2 girls by the same name (Nana)by chance meet on a train heading to Tokyo,one on their way to reconcile with her boyfriend ,and the other running away from hers.
They seperate when arriving in Tokyo only to bump into one another whilst looking at property,they both want to rent the same appartment so they agree to share.
AS their friendship beging to grow closer so do their relationships troubles.
Enjoyable movie.

tells the story of Magdalena a young Mexican-American girl,at the age of 14 she realises she is pregnant,abandoned by her boyfriend & religious family she goes to stay with her great uncle and troubled cousin Carlos.a tragedy occurs that pulls the family back together.a great movie worth watching if you havn't already!!

Tells the story Claire a 17yr old who finds herself pregnant,not having anyone to turn to,and not wanting to tell her parents she finds refuge with Madame Melikian an embroiderer who is herself trying to cope with the loss of her son.
The two rely on each other and form a close bond.a touching story told well.

Stephan has a problem with relating to what is real in his life and where his dreams begin.
A bizzare film mostly set in the drem world of Stephan,his realities begin to lose control when he meets his neighbour Stephanie he somehow believes their relationship is going places but in reality it dosn't work out the way he dreamed it would,great imaginative fim,excellent performance from Gael as usual.

Amal being a town were nothing much happens,one of the girls gives the other a hard time about being gay then ends up faling for her.not a bad movie.(subtitled)

great J-Horror,after seeing a bad car accident Jiney becomes obsessed with capturing death on fim(photos).Disturbed by flashbacks of the abuse she went through as a child she becomes further drawn in to a disturbing sub culture a she begins to descend into madness.weird & disturbing,i loved this movie one of the best horrors iv'e seen in a while def worth watching if your a fan.

A quirky little movie set out in a chinese community in Manhattan about a family who's actions in love and life cause embarresment to their elders.A single mother becomes pregnant by a much younger guy and her daughter falls for her bosses daughter,a funny if not tender story.

What starts of as a spy movie soon turns into a life changing story for Israeli agent Eyal.
After his wife commits suicide he's assigned to a much less stressfull case,a brother and sister who's Grandfather was a war criminal,theiir family have been hiding him for years.
Once Eyal gets to know them his way of thinking soon changes ,a touching story,some Arabic and Russian subtitles.
