Here are all the Friday the 13th movies and what I have to say about them. I am actally surprised myself that I like a few movies so far. The first four are the the only ones worth watching, after that, the Friday serie just goes bad, as in really bad. The only reason to see some of them is because Jason is still cool. It is the story that usually sucks.

This movie is actually a bit too "old" for me, but it is ok for being 27 years old. I grew up with better effects, so those are just hilarious. So is the music, to the point of being annoying. Since I don't like animal cruelty, I didn't like the scene where they kill a snake. The movie is a bit boring at times, but the story is ok. The ending would have been much better if it had ended when the girl is being pulled down into the lake by Jason. Although it is old, it was ok.

For being made in 1981 and being a sequel, it is actually ok, apart from the ending. Why can't the movie just end when Jason attacks them through the window? Oh, and the music hasn't improved since the first one.

A horror movie with humor, I like that. I also like the story. Too bad the effects are a bit too "old" for me though. What annoys me is the ending. They couldn't do it right this time either! Why can't the movie end when the heroine gets attacked in the lake?

There are a few funny scenes in this one actually. The effects are ok, and so is the story. What I don't like is the ending. I don't like the "usual" one, and not the ending when they kill Jason either. Oh, and this is just the forth film, so it's not the "last" chapter.

What a disappointment! Even though I liked the first part a bit, the ending ruined the movie completely! It wasn't even Jason behind the mask!! So bad!

The way Jason comes alive was really bad, but I didn't mind, since I like him. The ending though, it just ruined everything. It's not the usual ending, where Jason does one last attack, before the scene goes to the "resque" scene. I want the old endings back! An also, why didn't he kill any kids? There were 50 or so of them in front of him.

The heroine is some kind of psychic girl who has "abilities", such as telekenesis. Jason looks worse under his mask than the previous movies! The ending is so bad. Of course, the heroine uses her "abilities" to win. She makes her dead father come back to life, from the lake he drowned in, so that HE kills Jason. Give me a B. Give me an A. Give me a D. What is this ending? Terrible bad!!

The way Jason awakes (by electicity) is bad, but I'm not going to mind this time either, because I like Jason.
However, this movie is filled with really useless scenes where a "young" version of Jason pops up at random moments. Those could have been deleted, as they added nothing (especially the mirror scene - it was just annoying).
The movie is called "Jason takes Manhattan" even though Jason spends the first hour of the movie on a ship to named location.
I really like Jason. Just about every character (except hero and heroine) that I hate, Jason kills.
I also like the scene where Jason takes of his mask to scare some thugs! His face looks even (if possible) worse than the last movie.
Ending is really bad though.

I hated so many things about this movie that I don't even know where to begin!
In this movie "Jason" is reduced to some small monster thing that takes over peoples bodies. Like "The Thing" only much worse. It's not the same thing as the previous movies, since the "bodies" aren't the "real" Jason.
The story has to be the worst Friday the 13th story. Jason apparently has a sister (Halloween anyone?) and only another Voorhees can kill him (by destroying his heart). Even though I remember Mrs. Voorhees (Jason's mom) saying that "Jason was my only child" in the first movie. Jason can only be "reborn" through a Voorhees, and he does that by taking over his dead sisters body.
The ending is just bad. Really bad.

Jason is now "frozen" and wakes up in the future, in the year 2455.
The dialogs are painfully bad and stupid. I usually don't care, but this really pissed me off. The characters even say pointless stuff when they die! Pff.
If people are this stupid and shallow in the year 2455, I'm glad I'll be dead by then.
In the last part of the movie, Jason becomes Uber Jason. We don't get to see very much of him though, as they kill him very fast and easy. The ending is really silly.

What a major disappointment! I expected a movie filled with fighting scenes between Jason and Freddy.
Instead, I got a bunch of really annoying teens and Freddy who is using Jason as a puppet. The story isn't any good either. The heroine's "long lost love" (4 years?) returns home just so save her?! Uhf.
There are things I like about this movie though. Like when Jason "steals" Freddy's kill. Jason is cool, so why did they have to fuck him up in this movie? He is NOT afraid of water in any other movie! And the childhood memory just didn't make sense.
Only the last part of the movie is the Freddy vs Jason action I was hoping for. But the annoying teens keeps interrupting all the time. And the movie also has the typical stupid heroine lines, like: "Freddy, go to Hell" just before the heroine lights a fire, and "Welcome to my world bicth" before she cuts Freddy's head off. Am I the only one annoyed by this?!
Freddy is a wimp. He can simply be stopped by taking a pill that stops you from dreaming. Freddy should have easily lost this one. None of them actually "dies" either.
I wish this would have been a Freddy vs Jason only, without the distractions.
