Old School (2003,  R)
Old School 4.5 Stars
Pure comedic bliss. Obscene? Yes. A masterpiece? No. Well acted? Probably not. But this movie is the heart of comedy. Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn are dynamite. This movie had me laughing like an animal. Crammed with funny scenes. Unbelievable.

Team America - World Police (2004,  R)
Team America - World Police 5.0 Stars
The epitome of intelligent stupid comedy. This is a movie that blasts people to pieces with scathing criticism. Sure, it's offensive and obscene, but that's part of its charm. How this movie makes stupidity something genius is beyond me, but it truly does that.

Office Space 4.5 Stars
Ferociously funny, and very satirical, this is one of the more intelligent comedies around.

Groundhog Day (1993,  PG)
Groundhog Day 5.0 Stars
So funny I'm almost paralyzed by laughter every time I see it. This is, in my opinion, Bill Murray's greatest work. The man is golden. But this is also a very evocative love story, and touching at all the right moments.

Hilarious, but don't go looking for any Academy Award nominations. Carrey and Daniels have undeniable chemistry.

The Big Lebowski (1998,  R)
The Big Lebowski 4.0 Stars
This movie has one of the best scenes in comedic history, where John Goodman pulls a gun over a bowling infraction. John Goodman and Phillip Seymour Hoffman are hysterical.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987,  R)
Planes, Trains and Automobiles 4.0 Stars
Despite some lame moments, this movie delivers generally great comedy. John Candy and Steve Martin are fantastic together, and in particular, John Candy is a riot.
Underneath the comedy, there is actually a dark subplot involving homelesness and loneliness, which functions very well.

Anchorman - The Legend Of Ron Burgundy (2004,  PG-13)
Anchorman - The Legend Of Ron Burgundy 3.5 Stars
An incredibly bad movie. Idiotic as hell. But the comedic merit is definitely there, and gave me enough good laughs for a three and a half star rating. Sometimes, I just want to shut my brain off and laugh, which this movie allows me to do.
