El Orfanato (The Orphanage) (2007, R)
The Orphanage is a Thriller which gives some wonderfully tense moments and really made me jump on a couple of occasions. |

An American Haunting (2006, PG-13) |

Half Light (2005, R)
There are many elements to this film that make it a cheesy predictable Horror movie and at the same time it has some likable qualities. Ironically I liked Demi Moore in this more humble role better than many of her Hollywood roles. |

Cello (Chello hongmijoo ilga salinsagan) (2005, Unrated) |

Dark Remains (2005, R)
Everything about this film, the name, the dvd cover and the synopsis makes out that it is a better film than it actually is. As a Horror, it really had no frightening or disturbing parts as such, more of a thriller really, which had a pretty weak storyline ? watchable for a tv film, but totally missable. |

Ghost of Mae Nak (2005, Unrated)
A very average ghost story with the second half a little more sinister than the first. Quite a typical, predictable Horror in most senses, with the odd good moment thrown in. Not all bad, but certainly nothing special. A couple of slightly eerie moments towards the end, but not a particularly scary film. |

Ryeong (The Ghost) (Dead Friend) (2004, Unrated)
Whilst a lot of this film was slow moving, the ending qas quite speedy with a lot to take in. The story itself escalated into a fairly good plot and I have to say I don?t remember the last time I jumped so much at a Horror film, of course this was helped by watching the film in the quiet with ear phones on. |

Saint Ange (House of Voices) (2004, R)
A strange Horror with a weak storyline. Virginte Ledoyen (The Beach) seems a natural Actress and the film to me seemed a bit of a down graded movie for her to take on. Nothing much happens in the first 50 mins of the film and everything after (or at least, what I could concentrate on) showed nothing much of an explanation. |

Gothika (2003, R)
A film that isn?t highly rated by most, but remains to be one of my favourites and most re-watched films that I own. |

Janghwa, Hongryeon (A Tale of Two Sisters) (2003, R)
Very slow moving at first, then everything seems to happen really fast. Having watched this just the once, I?m still placing pieces together, so am not sure if I totally got it. |

What Lies Beneath (2000, PG-13)
The thing that makes this film work so well, is the cleverly placed, typical Horror type scenarios, that never seem to materialise, yet keep you waiting for them to happen, check through the film, they are all there. Hence this becomes an edge of your seat Thriller, with heightened intensity that keeps your mind challenged. |

The Gift (2000, R)
This film has always been a favourite of mine, it?s a great supernatural thriller. Cate Blanchett (as always) gives a very strong performance, a likeable performance too from Giovani Ribisi. |

The Sixth Sense (1999, PG-13)
One of the greatest twists ever! Just remembering back to when I watched this for the very first time ? the ending was brilliant and everything suddenly makes sense. Even as a re-watch, knowing what?s to come, the film was created in such a way that almost every angle was covered. If you look hard enough and analyse everything you will come up with some flaws, but it?s such an enjoyable and clever film, the flaws are just not important. |

Ghost (1990, R)
It's quite unbelievable to think that this film is 18 years old. It made such an impact during it's arrival in 1990 that there can't be many people left who haven't seen this classic. |

Field of Dreams (1989, PG) |

Ghostbusters 2 (1989, PG) |

Beetle Juice (Beetlejuice) (1988, PG) |

Angel Heart (1987, R)
Fans of Robert De \Niro may be slightly disappointed as he is only in the film for about 10 minutes, however Mickey Rourke is the star in this film. |

Ghost Busters (Ghostbusters) (1984, PG) |

The Entity (1982, R)
A much older film than I'd expected it to be and not scary like people had made it out to be, however the story through the eyes of the main character is a frustrating one trying to prove that the events are really happening and dealing with the situation at the same time. What's even more amazing is that this is apparently based on a true story. Worth the watch. |
