Kundun (1997,  PG-13)
Kundun 3.0 Stars
A film I have been wanting to see for quite some time, purely on a spiritual level and because I have an attraction toward Tibet.

I feel I have learned a few things from this film, but at the same time I found it a little boring - which was a little disappointing.

The film, directed by Scorsese, was made well and I'm sure resembled the facts as a true story, it just wasn't as insightful as I had hoped it would be.

Worth the watch, bear with the beginning. I found this more gruesome than most violent and scary films I've watched

For anyone who has read the book, this doesn't quite live up to it, the book lets you interpret the insights into the way you want to the film shows you how it should be. Still a watchable film, but would urge people to read the book first

The Da Vinci Code (2006,  PG-13)
The Da Vinci Code 4.5 Stars
A huge film with huge content which requires your full attention, to fully absorb the quality of the plot. Wonderful acting all around, particually Ian McKellan. One to certainly let you ponder and at 2 hours and 22 minutes, this lengthly tale holds you from start to finish.
