Kevin Bishop, a fairly new actor plays an outstanding lead part in this movie. Based on the novel The Tale of Love, its a story of an 18 year old man and his much older mentor as he studies to be a classical pianist.

definitely a weird movie. O Fantasma chronicles a young trash collector's descent into a world of increasingly bizarre sexual encounters. Sergio (Ricardo Meneses) spends his days living in a run-down rented room, engaging in anonymous sex and trying to rebuff the advances of his co-worker Fatima (Beatriz Torcato). Unfulfilled by his daily sexcapades, Sergio finally gets turned on by a Tom of Finland-esque motorcyclist (Andre Barbosa), whose physical beauty becomes the source of Sergio's obsession. Sergio stalks him, eventually donning bondage gear and making the motorcyclist his love prisoner. After having his brutish way with his comely captive, Sergio vanishes into the night and prowls the city's garbage dumps in a phantasmic odyssey of sexual dysfunction and cruelty. ~ Rebecca Flint,

Funny movie, but the story is a little weak, the cast of the guys was good, the girl did not hold up her end of the movie.

A funny movie with these two hit men with the mob who are also lovers.

A bit slow moving, but a decent story acted up by two good male leads make it successful.

This movie was a good movie, dealing with black gay men. With many twists and turns, certainly no block buster, but neither should it be missed.

Some graphic violence, but the movie was so good, I had to look away for those moments and then enjoy the rest of the story.

This movie took a while to get to where it needed to go and than when you're there, its over. It reminds me of a Hallmark movie for gays. Lots of crying, drags in many parts; only aspect missing was a passionate love scene... but in the end, it's an ok movie; I still recommend it, it's worth watching.

Lots of twists and turns that make it interesting. The actors all do a nice job. The flaw in this movie is the story upon which it is based is simply not a good storyline.

Given the film was made in the early 70's it isn't a bad flick, but one has to remember that fact while watching the film. It's not as we might expect by today's standards.

Definitely a different spin dealing with the aftermath of 911 and the lives of those affected by its aftermath.

A very good movie which brings up some thought provoking ideas about pro choice and the idea that there is a gay gene and being gay may be genetic.
