I only watched this recently, and found it a very emotional ride. Loved it from start to finish. Both leads are spunky/hunky, and carry it off very well.

very well made and the subject is delicately handled. Well acted by all the leads. Loved this for its guts to bring such a touchy subject to the big screen

The Object of My Affection (1998,  R)

Enjoyable enough take on the Gay genre. Paul Rudd plays a likeable gay character. Jennifer Anniston more or plays the same role as friends, but hey..a nice little escape for 90 mins.

Pleasantly charming, isnt exactly a blockbuster, but not every flick has to be hey? Nicely put together, the cast is quite watchable and some are well..yum! (Zach Braff, Andrew Keegan, Dean Cain)
Nice one to watch every now and again with a friend and a wine!!

Bad Education (La Mala educación) (2004,  NC-17)
Bad Education (La Mala educación) 3.5 Stars
Thought provoking, and thoroughly entertaining, Almodavar's Bad Education takes us into dark territory with the ever so hunky Gael Garcia Bernal in the starring role as battlescarred actor Angel. Almodavar always seems to keep his movies dark, yet with a twisted sense of humour. Great movie. Worth seeing.

Entertaining flick. The leads all pool together to make a fun movie without offending anyone. Kevin Kline is fun to watch with Tom Selleck.

Stonewall (1995,  R)
Stonewall 3.5 Stars
Gives us a light hearted insight to the begninnings of the gay rights movement. In the days after Judy Garland's death, a major riot broke out in NY's Gay sector..namely the Stonewall Inn. When the Stonewall is once again raided, everyone inside, already emotional after Garland's death decide that enough is enough, and so started what is known as the modern Gay rights movement. Great flick, emotionally on the level and realistic. The fictional storyline is woven in with the real-life drama that eventually unfolded in 1969. The drag pieces are also fun to watch.

Alex Demitriades is superb in this locally produced queer arthouse flick. Based on the book of the same name...the movie follows a day in the life of a gay, greek boy in the suburbs of Melbourne. Watch out also for Paul Capsis...he makes a great appearance.

Interesting!! Macaulay Culkin playing a mincing queen. Very seedy, and confronting. Seth Green was the stronger lead for certain. Some nice eye candy in the extras.

Great to see Sean Hayes "pre Will and Grace", and this is a fun movie, nothing too serious. It has a beaut story line, and is executed well enough to keep the interest. Great support roles, with some rather hunky ones in there too.

I stumbled across this and enjoyed the result. A gripping drama plays out with Audrey and Shirley giving it their all in their roles. The dramatic end leaves you shattered.

I enjoyed this one heaps, in all aspects...the chemistry between the 3 leads, the storyline, and the way it is played out. The sexual tension builds slowly towards the end where they all find themselves in a love triangle with a twist.

Another Gay Movie 3.5 Stars
This is a fun gay spoof of the American Pie movies, and what a blast it is too. The leads are all quite cute in their own way, and the movie doesnt take itself too seriously, and allows us to tag along with the fun..:) Great stuff.

No Ordinary Love 3.0 Stars
Not entirely entertaining, but fun in some parts. A bit slow, with rather nondescript dialogue (sometimes unintelligible and confused). Its more of a cute-fest, with a couple of raunchy scenes, but not enough to score higher points Im afraid.

Charming gay/straight love story from Ireland. The strikingly handsome leads work well together in a heartwarming, sometimes lighthearted coming of age story. Good fun and easy on the eye.
