A classic among classics in action and buddy cop movies. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover have great chemistry in this film. This film helped define the buddy cop movies for other films. The two main characters are so great and fun to watch. Richard Donner directs a great film. With likeable characters to a great story and great action. A film that is always worth watching. Lethal Weapon 4 is the last in the series of this hit franchise. Everybody is back for this. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are still great as Riggs and Murtaugh. Joe Pesci still funny as Leo Getz. Plus Rene Russo is back as the love interest for Mel. We get additional character with Chris Rock. And Jet Li is the bad guy for the movie. He gets to flex some of his great martial arts skills for this film. The story is typical for this series. Explosions, gun fights, family in danger and tons of comedy. This was a solid ending to a great action movie series. |

Die Hard 2 (Die Hard 2: Die Harder) (1990, R)
A great sequel to the first Die Hard film. Bruce Willis is excellent again as tough cop John McLane. The film brings more great action scenes with a great story. The villains are not as good as Alan Rickman or Jeremy Irons are in the other Die Hard films. But they served their purpose as decent villains. Overall a great action movie. |

The fourth instalment in the Die Hard series. And it does not disappoint. Bruce Willis is back as tough cop John McClane. This time he has to stop a internet terrorist from shutting down all power to the United States. The film is full of action sequences, explosions and gun fights. Just what a Die Hard movie needs. Still the original is my favorite but this was nice to see John McClane back on the big screen. If your a fan of the Die Hard series or just like action films then check this out. |

A good solid cop film. The film has a great story and good action. ChowYun-Fat and Mark Wahlberg are both excellent in this. Plus the performance of actor Ric Young as the main mob boss in China town was great. He was very sinister. A story of a dirty cop wanting to do the right thing. If you like the television show the Shield then watch this film. |

2 Days in the Valley (1996, R)
This was a great movie full of funny and crazy characters. First off the movie has a great cast with Danny Aiello, Jeff Daniels , James Spader, Charlize Theron, Teri Hatcher, and Eric Stoltz. All these characters lives become intertwined through out the film. Different stories but they all relate to each other in different ways. All the characters are great in this. The story is dark yet funny. I always enjoy watching this movie. Well worth a watch. |
|
| 17 |
Narc (2002, R)
This is a dark hard boiled cop murder mystery. The film is about a policman who is killed and they need the help of a narcotics officer who may have ties to help solve the case due to his past undercover work. But of course both cops on the case of personal problems of their own which affect the case. The film has that dark and raw look to the film. The characters are interesting and the story is quite good and entertaining. Not much action in the film but the story and characters make up for that. Ray Liotta and Jason Patric both give top notch performances. If you enjoy dark cop films then check this one out. |

I, Robot (2004, PG-13)

Predator 2 (1990, R)
The original Predator was much better than the sequel. But I still seem to enjoy this one when I watch it. It was great to see the Predator fight in the city and get to see more of the alien technology used. Some of the action and F/X are quite good. The acting is okay. Danny Glover and Gary Busey give decent enough performances. The ending with all the Predators coming out to Danny and giving him a gun from the old west days was neat. I would like to see a story about that. Overall a decent enough action sci-fi horror film. If you liked the original then check this one out. |
|
| 22 |
Rush Hour (1998, PG-13)
Director Brett Ratner brings us a great buddy cop movie. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker have great chemistry in this. Sure this film does not have your typical amount of crazy Jackie Chan stunts and fights as his other movies. But when they do it is good. Plus some great action scenes. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan both bring great humor to this film. Plus with a great story makes this a great action film. The best of the Rush Hour series. |

|
| 24 |
Training Day (2001, R)
This turned out to be a good film. Denzel Washington is excellent in this. Not your buddy cop style of movie. With a story of trying to take down a group of dirty cops the story is a blend of drama and action. If you like movies such as Dark Blue or Narc or the television show the Shield then this movie is for you. |
|
| 25 |
The Departed (2006, R)
Martin Scorsese seems to always direct great films with a all star cast. Great story and character's. Great performances all around. It's hard for me to pick someone out of this film who stood out as the best. This film may not be for everyone. But the story and characters are so good that I can't think why anyone would not like it. Plus a ending I didn't see 's coming. Great film for a cop or mob film lover. Another classic film brought to us by Martin Scorsese. |

16 Blocks (2006, PG-13)
A good cop action thriller. The story about a broken down cop who is trying to get a witness to court before these crooked cops take him down. The story is quite interesting and intense at times. Bruce Willis is excellent as the broken down drunk of a cop who wants to do the right thing. Mos Def was okay but I found it hard to understand his character with all the slurring he does when he talks. The films has some great action and gun fight sequences. Overall a decent action film. |
|
| 29 |
The Naked Gun - From the Files of Police Squad! (1988, PG-13)
The best of the Naked gun series. Leslie Neilsen is very funny in this. Heck even O.J. Simpson was funny in this. That's how funny this film is. This movie is right up there with Airplane. Most films try to be as funny with this brand of humour but fail. But the Naked Gun film is well written and the comedic performances from the cast are great. A must see comedy. |
|

The third installment in the Naked Gun movies. This is a very funny movie. Not as funny as the first two but still funny none the less. A great ending to a great series. Leslie Nielsen is funny as always in this film and the entire cast are great as well. One of my favorite comedies. Always a good laugh watching this film. |
|
| 32 |
Dragnet (1987, PG-13) |
|
| 33 |
Demolition Man (1993, R)
This is a decent action sci-fi movie. Bascially about a future where crime and violence does not exist. Even prisoners of the past who are in suspended animation serve their time and are released with new condition thoughts. But one prisoner does not get these thoughts and escapes and goes on a murder spree. They must unfreeze a cop from the past that caught this criminal before since they now do not know hold to handle this criminal. The movie stars Sylvester Stallone as the tough cop and Wesley Snipes as the bad guy. They both do good jobs. Snipes is very funny yet evil at the same time in this. He would have made a decent Joker in a Batman movie. The movie also has Sandra Bullock, Bob Gunton, Dennis Leary and Benjamin Bratt in this. The story is decent and funny at times. The movie is full of action and fight sequences. The dialouge and script is sort of cheesy but it works for this movie. Just a pure mindless fun film for entertainment. Worth a watch. |

Dirty Harry (1971, R)
A classic. The first and best of the Dirty Harry series. Eastwood plays the tough cop role to a tee. The scene in the beginning of the film with him bluffing the criminal if he has any bullets left is awesome. A great scene. The film does though have that dated 70's look but it adds to the film.
