Unknown (2006, Unrated)
A great movie!! Jim played his part perfectly! He couldn't have done it any better! The film is quite confusing until you get the hang of it! The plot of the film is great, it keeps you hooked up till the end, trying to figure out who is the bad guy and the good ones! But I didn't want McCain to die, poor guy! |

Frequency (2000, PG-13)
John Sullivan (Jim Caviezel), lost his father, who was a great firefighter, in the Bruxton fire. 30 years later, John discovers his father's ham radio and starts talking through it. He started talking to a man he didn't know, which later turned out to be his father. At first they couldn't believe it, but later accepted this as their only way to talk with each other, and make up for those lost years. By alerting his father about the things that happened 30 years before, he managed to change the past, with different and dangerous consequencies turning up. It's a splendid film, one that left me hooked up, specially with Jim's great talent! |

Madison (2005, Unrated)
Madison is a great family movie based on a true story. It brings out Madison's love for hydroplane racing. Of course, Jim, who stars as Jim McCormick, was absolutely great!! |

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002, PG-13)
I had the chance to see it at last! It cannot be any better! I mean, Jim was the just the best. A large part of this movie was filmed in Malta in Kemmuna, the island where the prison was, Imdina and the Great Harbour. That is very satisfying! |

The Passion of the Christ (2004, R)
Nobody can deny it that this film is one of the best religious movies the cinemas have ever seen. It's not just special effects and make-up, but the most important thing is that it is showing what Christ had to suffer for our salvation. It has changed hundreds of people, some of which went home to find out more about this magnificant story. |

Night at the Museum (2006, PG)
Larry found a new job as a security guard in the Museum of National History. But unlike any museum, the exhibits on display come to life. It's really funny how Larry dealt with this unusual situation. The film is really funny and keeps you hooked up till the end! |

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End (2007, PG-13)
It's good to know that Jack was rescued! The film was awesome, but it had some scenes that were difficult to grasp. The fighting bit was so great and it still had that little bit of humour in it. I didn't like the ending though, it still seemed so sad to me what happens to William. |

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006, PG-13)
Poor Jack Sparrow has got himself in another terrifying threat, worse than the curse of the Black Pearl!! Great visual effects and the storyline is really good!! I can't wait to watch the other one, to see what has happned with Jack! Great film one should never miss! |

Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003, PG-13)
With one of the best directors, Gore Verbrinski, Pirates of the Caribbean was one of the best movies of 2003. The storyline is simple and easy to understand, filled with adventure, witty remarks from Jack Sparrow and plenty of skeletons for you to dream of. Jack Sparrow is the cherry on the cake, without him the movie definately would not have gained this much popularity. And I believe that other than Johnny Depp, nobody would have been able to play this leading role. The scenery: ships, old-time towns and those ghost-like atmospheres are just brilliant and the score of the movie by Klaus Badelt is perfect. The swashbuckling scenes are awesome too! Anyway, it's a movie worth wasting a few hours of your life for. |

Deja Vu (2006, PG-13)
One must understand what the guys are saying or you'll never understand it!! Too bad that Jim ended up the bad guy, but anyway he was great. |

Angel Eyes (2001, R)
Catch, played by Jim Caviezel, is just recovering from the dead of his wife and little boy, after an accident they had a year before. Sharon (Jennifer Lopez), who is a cop, had saved his life. After Catch had saved Sharon's life, the story does not stop there, but reveals a story full of love and emotion. I truly recommend this movie! |

The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (2001, PG-13)
A magnificant story which takes us to those times when Lord Sauron's ring was given to a hobbit named Frodo by his cousin Bilbo. But Lord Sauron wants his ring back to destroy the middle earth. Frodo, along with three other hoppits which join him, leave the Shrine, and recruit the fellowship of an elf, wizard and a dwarf. He needs to destroy the ring by taking it where it was made, into the volcanic fires of Crack of Doom. The movie has a great storyline, with a lot of action and fights. Special effects are one of the best I've ever seen. |

The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers (2002, PG-13)
Frodo continues his way towards Mount Doom to destroy the ring, with the help of Sam, but things happen along the way. I truly loved the wars scene, so much action, hope and reality in it. It made the film much better than the first one. The scenery made the movie more realistic. Viggo Mortensen is my fave actor in it, playing the part of Aragorn really well. |

The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King (2003, PG-13)
The best from the three. In this last movie, we find out if Frodo was able to destroy the ring or not. The closer Frodo and Sam get to their destination, the more difficult it becomes for them, and Sam was his only hope. The war fights are brilliant, with a lot of details as if they are actually real. We can also see the determination of Aragorn and becomes what he was born to be. |

Secret Window (2004, PG-13)
A brillinat performance of Johnny Depp in this action/suspense thriller made me want to see it again and again. After his separation from his wife Amy, Mort Rainey is unexpectedly confronted by a strange guy John Shooter who claims that Mort stole his story and therefore demands justice. But Mort, as far as he knew, did not copy any story and to prove that his story was written first, he was ready to show John Shooter the 'Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine' where he had his story published. But Shooter's demands turn to threats and even murder. There is a very unexpected twist in the end, which I definately liked. It's the proper ending for a mystery/thriller movie. There is also that little bit of humorous act from Johnny Depp; such as the scene with Ms. Garvey. Definately a must-see movie. |

Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003, PG)
Being a person crazy on Daffy duck, this movie was a great treat for me. Daffy duck is ejected for Hollywood due to his arrogant attitude towards Bugz Bunny, because in his opinion, Bugz Bunny get more attenton than him. Teaming up with DJ, who was fired because of him, they embark on a dangerous adventure in which DJ wants to find Dusty Tail, search for the diamond and save his father. But the ACME corp, wants the diamond too. I consider this a great comedy for all the family. |

Twilight (2008, PG-13)
The movie is wounderful and one of the few that tried to keep to the book as much as possible. But still, one cannot compare it to the book while watching this movie, because you would certainly underestimate it. The story is quite simple: Bella Swan goes to live with her father in Forks and falls in love with the mysterious and dazzling Edward Cullen, portrayed perfectly by Robert Pattinson. But being in love with a vampire has its risks. They get in the way of a blood thirsty tracker and keeping Bella safe is the most important thing for Edward. I liked the fact that they used a lot of quotes from the book, but then I didn't like the terse conversations very much. And I think Bella didn't convey her love for Edward as much as I had expected. But overall, I think it's a good movie worth watching. And please, do not compare it to Harry Potter. The stories are on a completely different scale. What does magic and witchcraft have to do with vampires?! |
