Great Movies For Kids

If you find yourself kidsitting, here are some great movies that will keep them entertained and that you may find you don't mind watching yourself. Also refer to "Childhood favourites" Kids STILL love these :)

This is the best! From my childhood, seen it SO MANY TIMES. Rented this for some kids once and they ate it up!!! :D

Bridge to Terabithia (2007, PG)

I read this book when I was a kid and really enjoyed it :) Seeing it made into a movie was a little strange, but it was fairly well done. The actors were picked well, especially Annasophia Robb.

Kirikou and the Sorceress (2005, Unrated)

Very cute tale! :) I enjoyed it very much!
An excellent kids film! I watched this with the movie: "Princes and Princesses" which was also good and by the same creators

Princes and Princesses (Princes et princesses) (2000, Unrated)

Very Entertaining. A couple kids get together with a man who has a magic computer that helps them to research ideas for their stories and then make those stories come to life with them as the main characters. Some good original little tales!! Charming!! All french with subtitles but still excellent for kids who don't know french but have a little imagination.

Material Girls (2006, PG)

Ok, well... I did learn that I need to exfoliate more. Honestly, a cute show for young preteens. These sisters know how to carry a movie and they are not bad examples. The budding romances were actually rather cute, I laughed out loud a couple times and the message about materialism not bringing happiness is relevant, but overall, I would more than likely recommend the princess diaries over this one.

This movie is actually a cute adventure. Hilary Duff is a fun actress, like if I was her age, I would want to be friends with Lizzie McGuire. I took some kids out to see this movie and they loved it!
