The Silence of the Lambs (1991, R)
This is one of my favorite thrillers. i must admit that the first time i saw it as a kid, it seemed pretty scary. When, i got older and watched it with adult eyes, i began to realize how intense the film was. The relationship developed in the movie between, Lecter and Clarisse is interesting, thought provoking and slightly morbid. The movie takes you on a journey to the dark side of a psychologist who has developed his own horrible psychosis of cannibalism. And he is Clarisse's only hope to find a killer similar to him. In the movie Hannibal Lecter guides Clarisse (played by Jodi Foster) down the horrible road of murder, homicide and cannibalism. |
