Another wild imagination from Hayao Miyazaki... He is the real champion if it comes to an animation movie... Pretty shocked too he made it in the 80's because the animation was great... I just can't imagine that the earth would looks like that.... Love it, now I become more fanatic to Hayao's project... He's great... |

Princess Mononoke (Mononoke-hime) (1999, PG-13)
A great animated adventure movie from Hayao Miyazaki... He is really an expert for making great adventure in cartoon, and a very great story indeed... This one's not too different from Howl's Moving Castle or Oscar winner Spirited Away... I just love the story and the effects... And the ending that shows how the land becomes green again, it's so amazing... Very natural... Great movie, worthed to watch... |

I don't know how to say it, Hayao's work always amazed me in another way... This one's too... When Americas already leave 2D animation and move to CGI, Hayao still work with 2D animation, and that's great because we still needed people like Hayao so 2D animation won't disappear in the future... And for the movie itself, it's amazing... Hayao really made a great story with a unique animation... Overall, it's lovely and entertaining! Two thumbs up for Hayao Miyazaki...!!! |
