The film and the book are two totally different beings, yet also one in the same. The novel is virtually unfilmable in it's original form. I loved Cronenberg's take on the story! It is absolutely brilliant the way he incorporated Peter Weller's hallucinations. Weller's monotone/mumbling performance is so perfect! I believe this to be one of those "love it or hate it" films.

Clearly not Cronenberg's best, but a fine film nonetheless. Granted, the acting was dreadful.

FUCKIN' EH! This movie is insane! Words cannot express my love for this film. I've never laughed so much in my life! Those two characters ARE my father! It was honestly just like watching him on a normal day. The greatest mockumentary since This Is Spinal Tap!

This had the most annoying music I've ever had to put up with in a film! However, the story and acting did make up for that. It's a low-budget film with a few historical inaccuracies, but it is certainly worth a watch. Plus, John Greyson is genius in a little Canadian gift-wrapped package. <3
