Friday the 13th, Part VI - Jason Lives (1986,  R)
Friday the 13th, Part VI - Jason Lives
I still didn't see all of the Friday the 13th (although I am Jason Voorhees; but we don't watch what we live; do we? ;) ), but almost all, and this one was the worst; uncounting Freddy vs Jason who disappointed me a lot; contrary to the excellent Aliens vs Predator. But AvP 2 is really less good.

It's a pretty good film anyways, cause of the immortal serial killer we love, and so many ingredients of the series, but they anyways fall a bit asleep on their laurels writing this script.

I've been disappointed by the fact they changed Crystal Lake to Forest Green, but it's clearly understandable as it's to try to clean the name of the city of its awful story, reputation.
And they anyways very often call it Crystal lake all along the movie.

But we get what we want, a lot of deaths (18 on this one in only 90 minutes, wow) by so many different ways, so, a lot of suspense, and shot in beautiful places in forests, so, it's clearly not a movie to miss; at least if, like me, you like to see an entire series, although not all movies can be great.
Otherways, if you aren't a great fan of Jason, there are dozens of better horror movies than this one.

Friday the 13th (2009,  R)
Friday the 13th
Really impatient!
Hope it'll be as well as the Halloween or Hills HH remakes.

Very good a bit scary movie.

Finally not as well as Halloween & THHE remakes. But this isn't at all a remake, but just 1 more good sequel. The story have nothing to see with the 1st, between else when the killer isn't the same person.

Some very childish dialogues, jokes, considering the ages of the cast; so, not really funny sometimes, but more heavy.

1 very good point was so many beautiful breasts. I really didn't think to see those, so, it was a very good surprise. Lol
Sad anyways not to let some of these sex bombs alive, for I could date them.

Otherways, a lot of good ideas of deaths, pretty girls, some cool dudes (Aaron Yoo rules), some cool quotes (although what I said above), and some very nice places in the forrest for example, make it be a great horror.
12
Saw (2004,  R)

:D
Greaaaat!
16
Saw V (2008,  R)
Saw V
The IVth Saw was a bit disappointing. With this one, we're back to the very good series.
I loved when the couple realize they could've survived the 5.
17
Saw VI (2009,  R)
18

I so loved the remake that I want to see the 2 original ones.
And it's from Craven, so...
21
The Hills Have Eyes, Part 2 (1985,  R)
22
The Hills Have Eyes (2006,  R)
The Hills Have Eyes
Wooow!
The shock!
A masterpiece of the genre.
In the family of Texas chainsaw in a way.
23
The Hills Have Eyes II (The Hills Have Eyes 2) (2007,  R)
The Hills Have Eyes II (The Hills Have Eyes 2)
Watcha!

I waited with a great impatience to see it, cause I really loved the 1st one.
So, in the same time, I was afraid to be disappointed, even if I knew it couldn't be totally the case.
So, bought it a few weeks ago, and finally watched it this early morning, and... waw.
So shoking and gore by moment, just what I expected, just like the 1st movie; apart that there's more death, and that's only for our pleasure.
Could've been longer, cause nowadays, 85 minutes is really short for a movie.
I hope they'll find a great idea of script for a way longer sequel, but I bet a sequel will not be longer, and as this 1 is a bit worse than the 1st 1, I'm afraid again for the next 1.

As often in that kind of movies (more specially for the sequels of horror), the cast is totally unknown (or almost), and there are some totally stupid and unlogic things, like the fact they so often break the group. Apart for the story to be more freaking, it has any logic explanation.
For example, when 4 of them are already dead, why the hell a guy leave the 4 others to go alone???
O_O
Yeah, he's afraid of going into the mines, and that's understandable, but there isn't anyways for a man go by himself in those conditions.
Otherways, it's totally mindless that they leave so easily their weapons behind them. For example, why the fuck do they leave the room of the mine where they killed Papa Hades, leting their M16 with the baïonette, and also the spear he used, and the axe, the mass... behind them, when they still are into the dark mines, they are hurted, desperate, afraid and they don't know how many monsters are still there???
O_O
Do someone have a good explanation about it?

Finally, the dialogues supposed to be funny aren't several times.
Very pee-poo humor, so many times heard and not anymore funny... or it could be if it was better written.

The monsters are so ugly, and disgusting that only this is a bit scary.

Anyways, it stays a good horror that I'll watch again and again with pleasure.

Night of the Living Dead (1968,  Unrated)
Night of the Living Dead
Finally seen a few months ago.
27
Dawn of the Dead (1979,  R)
Dawn of the Dead
The best of the original trilogy for me
28
Day of the Dead (1985,  Unrated)
Day of the Dead
Worst of all Romero's zombies flicks
29
Dawn of the Dead (2004,  R)
Dawn of the Dead
Just, great!
Ving Rhames, excellent,as usual.
This version is really, but really different of the original 1. It's not really a remake of the George Romero's Dawn of the Dead.
The common points r mainly:
- Some people who didn't know each other before the zombie's pb meet in this desperate situation, and find together a refuge.
- The mall
- The survivors finally escape from the mall.
- The black cop as hero.

Almost everything else is different between these movies.

I own and love both movies, but prefer a bit this 1, even if there r also things making me prefer the old 1.
30
Day of the Dead 2 - Contagium (2005,  R)
31
Land of the Dead (2005,  R)
Land of the Dead
Not far of a masterpiece also.
Sadly, cast pbs!
Asia Argento save it.
32
Diary of the Dead (2007,  R)
Diary of the Dead
Ouch!

Really under Land and Dawn (both versions) of the Dead, for me.
But anyways a bit better than Night of the Living Dead and Day of the Dead.

A good thing is that I like movies made with a FPS mode of shooting, and that's cool that they start to be common.
Cloverfield, Doom (for the long amazing sequence shot like the games of the series), The Blair Witch Project, who's often named as a pioneer, a precursor of this style.
But there have been some others before; I thought to 1-2 another day, but I forgot them now.
Too bad...!

Contrary to Land of the Dead, - but as for the previous ones -, a entire cast of unknown actors and actresses.
Anyways, that doesn't impede some movies to be great, as all stars were totally unknown people when they began, logically. Almost all in fact, cause not all the childs of stars.
But in this case, if they aren't bad actors, they aren't excellent neither I think.
There are anyways some stars, as I discovered watching the bonuses.
Wes Craven, Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, Guillermo Del Toro and Simon Pegg, who all voiced newsreaders.
A nice idea!

Otherways, the script isn't bad at all, just not as well as the ones I said above.
But there are anyways some very good scenes.
Interesting also to see some events on the security cams.

To conclude, I'm anyways, as usula with Romero, very excited, impatient to see Survival of the Dead, his 6th zombies' film in the series.
33
Shaun of the Dead (2004,  R)
Shaun of the Dead
Funny, very good ideas like the records throws fight or the meeting of the "clones" group, but I expected more, after having heard so many good things about it.
34
Dance of the Dead (2008,  R)
Dance of the Dead
I've read things making me be impatient to see that parody of the genre, like Shaun was
I hope it a bit better
35
House of the Dead (2003,  R)
House of the Dead
Under Romero's works
Not the best VG adaptation at all.
In the genre, the RE r way better.
36
House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim (All Guts No Glory) (2006,  R)
House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim (All Guts No Glory)
Some very good scenes, but not at all an excellent movie.

A lot of pretty girls, but the masculine's cast is way under, way less interesting.
Sid Haig and Masi Oka (even if I didn't see, recognize him when I watched the film for the 2d time, a few days ago, and I didn't know him the 1st time I saw this movie; but I must admitt that, as it's not a so great movie, I used internet during watching, so, I didn't follow totally, didn't see everything) anyways clearly save it, but they have only small roles.
37
Resident Evil (2002,  R)
Resident Evil
Good adaptation of the games (the greatest fan of the universe tell u that. I have 12 games and 8 books, and the DVDs), even if I expected more.
I hope they will use more creatures for the next ones.
38
Resident Evil - Apocalypse (2004,  R)
Resident Evil - Apocalypse
Good to have introduced Nemesis
39
Resident Evil: Extinction (2007,  R)
Resident Evil: Extinction
Best of the trilogy!
Some great scenes like the crows in the desert and the battle against clones.
I own the 12 Resident Evil games, and read 4 of the 9 books written til now, and so, I really regrett that they said they'll not make a new movie; even if they'll probably change their mind 1 day, it could be in a lot of years, and it's sad, when so many kind of creatures of the games hasn't been used in the 1st trilogy.
40
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974,  R)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
A great movie who've had too much bad sequels or remake.

45
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Shocking Truth (2000,  Unrated)

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006,  R)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
I still want to see it, no matter the previous one.
And also even if only the very 1st one is a very good movie.
48
Final Destination (2000,  R)
Final Destination
Great idea!
New kind of "bad guy"
49
Final Destination 2 (2003,  R)
50
Final Destination 3 (2006,  R)
Final Destination 3
The 4th, the 4th, the 4th
51
The Final Destination (2009,  R)
The Final Destination
The worst movie in the series!

This film isn't bad, but it's really worse than the 3rd one, who was excellent, and it's also worse than the 1st and 2d movies of this licence.

I was disappointed seeing the movie lasts only 80 minutes, but considering it's really less interesting than the previous ones, it's not that bad, finally.

The death ways are less originals, interesting than in the other films.
Between some deaths, it goes too fast, not leting us breathe, and making the movie be just a pretext to link some deaths, and not a complete story.
Some deaths are really unrealistic, making us not believe in them, and not being involved into the movie.
And also the effects aren't great, so, another reason for we can't believe in it.

The actors also aren't great, spoiling it a bit more.

Also the fact that, - for the 1st time in the series -, the hero can see the next person's death, disappointed me.

The good point was to see it in 3D; but it could've contained really more impressive things in 3D.
But it was nice to see my 1st movie not animated (I saw Monsters Vs Aliens and Ice Age 3 last months) in 3D; apart Honey I shrunk the kids and a movie with Michael Jackson that I saw in 3D in Disneyland, years ago, but those were short movies.
I'm impatient to see the remake of My Bloody Valentine in 3D. Normally next week!
52
The Descent (2006,  R)
The Descent
A bit under what expected
But a group of girls; coool!
:)
53
The Descent 2 (2010,  Unrated)
The Descent 2
Good sequel!

But not as good as the 1st movie in my opinion.
Apart the 2 girls from the 1st film (and the new girl too) the cast is really average for me.
They aren't at all charismatic and don't act very well I think.

Interesting anyways too use some elements of the previous movie, like the corpses.
54
Urban Legend (1998,  R)
Urban Legend
Great idea of script
55
Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000,  R)
56
Urban Legends - Bloody Mary (2005,  R)
Urban Legends - Bloody Mary
A very good concept!
The 1st is really excellent.
The 2d a bit less, but still good.
So, I really wanna see the 3rd.

Lol, some times ago, I put "I wanna see it", cause I forgot I already did.
I rent it 2-3 years ago, cause I loved the 1st and liked the 2d too, but a bit less.
It's not a good sign when you forgot you saw a movie.
It proves the film didn't touch you a lot.

Anyways, I saw it again on TV a few days ago, and yes, it's definitely way worse than the first movies.
It didn't come on theatre but is a Direct To Video flick. This explains that. Even if some TV or DTV films are great.
Of course, the budget isn't the same... even if some series or TV movies have budgets way more important than some cinema's ones.

The pb with this one is that it doesn't really respect the concept of the series, so...
Sure they use some urban legends, but way less than the last movies, and not as entertaining, interesting ones.
I dislike the Candyman movies, so, to use the same legend (as they even admitt in the movie, saying that the Candyman myth inspired the Bloody Mary legend) just a bit transformed, as the main legend of this 2d sequel isn't a good choice in my opinion.

But I liked some scenes, like the spiders walking under a girl's skin and going out to kill her.
Or also the final scene in the cemetary contains some interesting ideas, and the snow make it be a nice place.

To conclude, as you understood (and can see, checking the average ratings for the 3 movies), even if you loved the 2 firsts, no need to watch it. And if you wanna see an Urban Legend movie, avoid this one.
Watch the 1st, you shouldn't be disappointed.
57
Cut (2000,  R)
Cut
A very good not enough known Scream like.
Scream 3 is inspired by it, seting the action during a film shooting.
58
House of 1000 Corpses (2003,  R)
House of 1000 Corpses
I expected more
Really a Texas' like
59
The Devil's Rejects (2005,  R)
The Devil's Rejects
Ouch!
Gory f***ing great!

Finally seen!
10 times better than House of 1000 Corpses and more or less as well as Zombie's Halloween.

Rob use amazing actors who all are so freaking, even in tuxedo and without any horrible make-up.
All have "faces" as we say. Meaning faces who hypnotise you, that you can't forget, faces of people with experience, talent, and looks.
I for example really like Ken Foree (since Dawn of the Dead, Romero's version, so, in 1978) and Danny Trejo.
Sheri Moon is sexy, the kind of girl you give god without confession (like the expression says, even if I'm not a believer). So, that makes her be kinda more scary than Bill Moseley, Danny, Ken or Sid Haig and William Forsythe.

This movie is some kind of mix between:
The Hitcher, Joy Ride, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes, Gacy, Jeepers Creepers and some others.
Its more or less as good as Texas and Hills, and better than all the others.
So, a damned good mix it is!

I must admitt that I love the ending, between else.
I couldn't support that they all survive, even if that would mean a sequel with them, and that'd be excellent of course.
But when the sherif is killed and they are all saved, I was disgusted.
Maybe he deserved to die too, as he becomes almost as crazy dangerous as them. But it was a cold blood revenge for him, so, it's far away to be as monstruous as all this monsters' family did.

Very classical to make us almost have pity for those barbarian rapers and murderers and to give the cop the bad role.
But I have to confess that I was laughing in some moments when he tortures them; which I never did when they did it to their poor victims.
This movie make think that the cop is right. The only way to stop these people is to become like them, to hunt them and not just chase, and it's almost impossible to imagine to quietly arrest them and let them live in jail till they escape and start again.
When you act without any humanity, like they do, you know what's waiting you, what you'll get, and you must assume to be shot like a deer by hunters.
In life, you get what you give. Or at least, it should be more often the case.
But badness is so more powerful that it wins, most of the time.

Anyways, near a masterpiece is this film.
60
Halloween (2007,  R)

Scream 2 (1997,  R)
Scream 2
A very good sequel!
A lot of supporting roles of it became stars now.
So many stars started their carreers in horror movies. So, so much of them died in their firsts movies.
A phoenix have to die to ressusiscate,

The idea of the mother make think to the very 1st Friday the 13th.

The only 1 I saw
I like sci-fi horror, but it's far away of the Alien series
78
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984,  R)
A Nightmare on Elm Street
A baby Johnny Depp could be the only reason to see it, (but I'm not sure I haven't in fact) cause I own the 3rd one, and it's pretty disappointing.
Out of all these cult series of the 70's - 80's (Friday, Texas, Child's Play, Halloween...), this 1 is the worst. No, in fact, Amityville if the worst. And I'm talking only of these cult series, cause, otherways, in horror, there are some worst movies.
I anyways wanna see the soon coming remake of it.
79
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 - Freddy's Revenge (1985,  R)

Maybe the most disappointing in Wes's great carreer.
85
A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010,  Unrated)
86
Child's Play (1988,  R)
Child's Play
Disappointing!

I really liked Bride of Chucky, (Child's Play 2 and 3 also if I remember well), and wanna see Seed of Chucky.
I thought I saw this 1 too, but as I watched it a few days ago, - after having bought it -, I finally think I didn't.
Anyways, the sure thing is that I expected a very better movie.

I thought to see more murders, more deaths.

Joy Ride (Road Kill)
A good script!

Good to see Leelee and Steve Zahn who should be more used in block busters (even if Leelee was in Deep Impact).
They deserve more honors, celebrity...

It makes me think a bit to Spielberg's masterpiece (and 1 of his very 1st works), Duel.

I want to see its sequel.

The Exorcist
I expected more, when I heard so many times of it, before to see it in theatre, when they put it back, some years ago.
But it's way better than all sequels or prequel. Way way way better!
And the main theme, is one of my fav musics ever, even if I sadly can't have it in mind right now.

Very disappointing for me.

I can't believe that the excellent Wes Craven chose Alexandre Aja to shoot the remake of The Hills Have Eyes after having seen this.
But anyways, his remake of THHE is great.
121
Martyrs (2008,  R)
Martyrs
1 of the most violent movies I ever saw. Physically and psychologically.
The french version of Saw, or Hostel, but worse.
The people playing the supporting roles aren't good actors.

Deep Rising
A good horror thriller!

Some kind of mix between Titanic, Poseidon, Alien, Virus (1999) and Abyss. Definitely a good mix!
A not bad cast (mostly thanks to the nice and talented Famke Janssen) doesn't waste anything; it's the opposite of course.
The creature, the monster is gorgeous, splendid!

The Blair Witch Project

Candyman 2 - Farewell to the Flesh
Not better than the 1st.
215
Candyman 3: Day of the Dead (1999,  R)
Candyman 3: Day of the Dead
The 2 first were way too bad for I wanna see it.
216
Alone in the Dark (2005,  R)
Alone in the Dark
Interesting adaptation!

I love the only Alone in the Dark game I own, on PS 1.
It's a very good survival horror game, in a genre where apart it and the Resident Evil series, we really are missing options.
I anyways also bought Alone in the Dark 5, the last one, but didn't already start it, even if I'm impatient to play it siince 1 & 1/2 year, when I 1st heard of it.

SO, about the movie, the underrated Christian Slater is a very good choice.
Tara Reid and Stephen Dorff are interesting too.

Some very impressive and well directed and with great effects scenes, like the one with the bullet in slow motion through the ice cube to the bad guy.
And of course the scenes with the creatures; especially the massive attack from the woods. So many monsters and militaries; and guess who win? I'll not tell you.
;)

So, the creatures are cool, but as for Resident Evil movies (even it's really better with those), it misses some different creatures from the games.

I'm impatient to see the sequel, to discover what kind of monster they added, but sadly, i'm sure it'll never come to theatres. Anyway, DVD...
217
Alone in the Dark II (2008,  PG-13)
218
Patrick (1978,  PG)
219
Hollow Man (2000,  R)
Hollow Man
It could've been better. U could imagine interesting things to do if u were invisible.
The transformation is well done anyway.
220
Hollow Man II (2006,  R)
Hollow Man II
The 1st was average, so, no need to see a sequel.
221
Van Helsing (2004,  PG-13)
Van Helsing
A very good monsters movie.
It's cool to see Dracula, the monster of Frankenstein, the Werewolf and even Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in the same movie, all hunted by Van Helsing.
The lanscapes r beautiful, and the castle of Dracula is great too.
222
Van Helsing: The London Assignment (2004,  PG-13)
223
Deep Blue Sea (1999,  R)
Deep Blue Sea
An excellent thriller/horror with awful sharks.

Apart Samuel L. Jackson (who sadly die too fast in the movie), the casting is pretty disapointing in my opinion.

The sharks are very impressive, dangerous, and so, make very good monsters, enemies for the characters.

The end is pretty surprising, considering who die and who doesn't.
224
Stir of Echoes (1999,  R)
225
Stir of Echoes: The Homecoming (2007,  Unrated)
226
Cabin Fever (2002,  R)
Cabin Fever
I've been a bit disappointed, considering all I heard about, and the excellent next movie of Eli Roth, Hostel.
The story's good, it's trash and a bit freaking by moments, the sets r pretty, but, it misses something to be very good. I dunno exactly what...
227
Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever (2009,  Unrated)
228

The Fog (1979,  R)
230
The Fog (2005,  PG-13)
The Fog
Like the Carpenter's movie, average.

Interesting casting (Welling, Maggie Grace and Selma Blair), but the script isn't very interesting.
The idea of the haunted fog is pretty good, sadly, not well used.
231
The Thing from Another World (1951,  Unrated)

Evil Dead 2
I heard a lot about it, bought the videotape, and shit... it's probably the crapiest horror movie I've ever seen.
259
Army of Darkness (1993,  R)
260
Valentine (2001,  R)
Valentine
Very good surprise is that slasher.
261
My Bloody Valentine (1981,  R)
My Bloody Valentine
A pretty good serial killer story!

A not enough known serial killer movie of the 80's, who could've made a series like a lot others of this period; Friday the 13th, Halloween, Elm Street, Child's Play, Texas Chainsaw...
But thanks to the remake, it'll be discovered by some fans of the remake wanting to watch the old one.
I'm personnally pretty excited to see the remake, specially in 3D. Hope it'll come to me.

The character has everything to be the serial killer of a series of slashers.
A sad bad past, a great mask (gaz mask), good weapons...
And like in Scream for example, he's friend with his victims.

Otherways, the mines are a good set for the action; even very good.
And the city and the rooms out of the mine are excellent too.
Very good choice for a thriller, cause those places can easily be scary.

The good thing is that I totally forgot who was the killer between the 2 times I watched my DVD, so, nothing was spoilt.
262
My Bloody Valentine 3-D (2009,  R)
My Bloody Valentine 3-D
Good but not excellent!

2d horror movie I see in 3D (after Final Destination 4), 2d a bit disappointing.
I hope the next ones will be better.

I think that the original My Bloody Valentine was a bit better. It's very different anyways.

This remake misses (like FD 4 did) some more uses of the 3D effects. I hoped to see some things coming to me, out of the screen. It happens a bit at some moments, but not enough times and not enough effectively.
So, you can watch this movie in 2D without any problem, and maybe more watch the 1981's version of this story.

276
The Shining (1980,  R)
The Shining
Another overrated movie, for who I don't understand the huge love.
But not toooo bad.
Anyway, poor Stephen King, who agrees with me, when it's the worst of the 90 adaptations of his books, according to him.
And the best is also the best for me, The Green Mile. So, Mr. King and I have the same tastes about the movies made from his stories.
Proud of it!

Not as well as I expected.

I wasn't sure to like it, considering I hated Evil Dead 2 that I bought on video, so many years ago.
But I loved the Spider-Man series of movies, so, I was curious to see the return of Raimi in the horror.

It's waaay better than ED 2, but not excellent.

But the end was really surprising and pretty cool.

What Lies Beneath (2000,  PG-13)
What Lies Beneath
Movie made to make Robert Zemeckis and his crew be busy and not losing money, during the months they had to wait for Tom Hanks to let his hairs and beard geting long, for the shooting of the 2d part of Cast Away.
Not bad thriller!
It changes to see Harrison playing the bad guy.
He makes a good couple with the underrated Michelle Pfeiffer.

Mirrors (2008,  R)
Mirrors
A very very good horror movie.
A bit trash by moments.
A bit freaking too. (I'm almost never afraid watching horror, and I watch some very soon).
An excellent story, good investigations, and original and nice ideas.
Even a bit funny by short moments.

The Unborn (2009,  PG-13)
The Unborn
Yeaaaaah!
I love horroooooor!
Lol

Another very good horror movie, as we have so many since years; also some decades ago.

Even if I don't believe in anything (and so, of course, not in possessions, exorcisms, ghosts, devil...), I love movies involving those kind of elements.
Not all of them, of course (for example, one of the worst crap ever is The Exorcism of Emily Rose), but often.
I'm curious anyways about how you, believers see these movies.
But it's not easy to tell, and anyways, I'll never be able (like all UNbelievers [fun to use the prefix UN talking of The UNborn]) to exactly understand how you feel seeing those.

I really didn't imagine to see the so famous monster of the nazism, the Dr Mengele, involved in this story, making it seems more true, realistic; fixing it in our real world.
It's well known that this man made a lot of experiments on jewish people in camps during WWII, but curiously, the story of The Unborn never happened in any way.

So, as I saw Watchmen a day, and The Unborn the day after, I saw Carla Gugino twice in a row, in very different movies.
I just realized it seeing the cast here, cause, even if I know her pretty well, I didn't realize she was in The Unborn. We see her only a lil, but, anyways...

So many odd things in this movie.
I'm sometimes disturbed by too strange things in movies, but no problem here: More cause they mainly are nightmares, or hallucinations.
Talking about weird things, I anways loved Silent Hill for example, even if I'm not a fan of the games. I'm way more into Resident Evil games, books, and also movies, even if they aren't masterpieces.

You like horror?
You like mystery?
You like possessions, exorcisms?
Then, run in a theatre to watch it.

But some good ideas.

Apart maybe Clooney...

Wow that is a heck of a list! I think you probably included every horror movie that has been made or is being made currently. I am not big on slasher films so most of these I show as not interested. I love Blade, the Dawn of the Dead remake, Identity, Stephen King's IT, The Mist, The Faculty, and the Underworld series.

    You meant HERE, I guess.
    ;)
I haven't seen a lot of those too, some that I want, some I don't, but I put movies that I didn't see only if the are sequels or remakes of movies I saw. That's how I built my list.
And I still have to rate and write reviews for so many of those, like in my collection of videos list.
About the sequels pb, I can agree for some series, but some are also better and better.
But a good exemple of a series going worse and worse is Scary Movie. The 1st was pretty good, the 2d less, the 3rd is average, and the 4th is crapy.
