A gripping movie that is so psychotically disturbing that it chills you to the bones. Great prequel to Silence of the Lambs.

Creepy. I saw this one alone and my heart was probably beating 400 beats per minute. I liked it a lot. But I would not see it again because I know that would spoil it.

Loved this back then when I was in my teens. Love it. But I have not re-seen this movie.

Loved the chill. One of just two of Schwarzenegger's movies I like, because this one has Linda Hamilton.

Some scenes seems to remind me of Ju-on, the Japanese horror - so it didn't rate well for originality, at least to me. And some scenes reminded me of 'The Others' and even 'The Amityville Horror'. But there were a couple of scenes that made me scream, so it was quite fun to watch.

The movie started off very well, and I actually enjoyed the first half of the movie - was actually intrigued by the mysterious character, 'Bobby F' who was believed to be abused and physically deformed by his parents when they were alive but Bobby F went missing and was believed to be lurking near where he once lived, responsible for the deaths of his parents. Then just as I was beginning to think I had my money well spent on the DVD, I was soon overwhelmed with disappointment when all the dead people waiting to be embalmed in the mortuary (starting from the town's beloved piano teacher) all came back to life as Zombies that spitted or vomitted some disgusting black liquid or fungi substance. The Zombies actually INFECTed others into becoming Zombies like themselves by spitting or vomitting the strange black liquid into others' mouths as those people (of course) scream with horror with their mouths opened (of course). I was laughing so hard at the ridiculous harebrained acts of some of the Zombies and the so-called victims alike. One (who used to be a caring mother and the woman who bought the old mortuary to start her embalming business) even made dinner for the other main characters after she became a Zombie. We soon were to find out there was an evil man-eating blob-like creature that was really responsible for all the evil doings. In the end or quite the end, all the Zombies and the blob-like creature were all exterminated by the fact that - surprise! surprise! - they were all SALT-INTOLERENT... how convenient.

Yawn! Too much rambling. Predictable plot that revolves (or fusses rather) around campus. What was too unrealistic was the apparition or otherwise known as 'White Lady' whose facial ghostly effects were apparent amateurish special effects that were too-obviously, computer-simulated graphics.

Crap-movie !!! Over-rated on Flixster!

I much prefer Alien, Aliens etc and the original Predator.

This 1968 version is the best Zombie movie I've seen, far more superior than the newer ones.

Quite interesting movie about the biblical plagues - has quite a bit of twist and turns that would really surprise you.

7 characters in all - revolves around a motel - appears to be a struggling low-budget movie. But it has some very suspenseful parts. Overall - an OK suspense film. Good acting.

The ending will surprise you.

I was very surprised that this Hollywood version of the movie is far better than the original version - for one, the way the story was presented was far more convincing. Well-made horror movie.
