Even if it bored me at some points, I can hide that this is a fantastical author movie, with a great narrative way, good acting and exceptionnal direction, while I might read some more to exactly know wich of thoses effects Welles have brought with this movie, but I blame maybe the rythm that is not always fast enough, but actually, I keep a great thrill while watching it and rosebud as mark me.

Martin Scorsese make a wonderful and excellent directing with talented actors ! It by far the best perfrmance ever by Dicaprio and Nicholson and Damon are good too. But a lot of angle view are stunning and well.. The story is really interesting. Wonderful !

I never been attract to watch this movie, but actually I found it pretty good and even if i'm not a boxer fan, I found it really interesting, delivred with really strong performance, maybe one of the best or THE best by De Niro and a really good and awesome direction by Scorsese. Really good biographical movie!

Extremely developp and strong, the story is simply amazing, the performance remarquable and well, this old movie is a great one, a instant classic. The way thay analyse everything about porr, rich, blackmailing, frustration, noble, snob, everything, really good. And the dialogue are sublime, perfectly written.

Really powerful with amazing performance.

With a second watch (before the dark knight ;-)), the movie isn't as perfect as I remembered, yes it's action-pack and well writtent, time pass really fast, while it's a bit long to settle things, the character are well-played, exception gives to Holmes that do a TERRIBLE and awful job. The direction is not exceptionnal and the music not always wisely used. But for sure it's a good movie that promise a wonderful second and it's what happened.

It's old, weird, but still wonderful and beautiful in so much way. The magic works on many aspects.

Not Chaplin's best, but the ending is certainly priceless. The long, intense and wordless part when the not-anymore-blind woman stare at the tramp is simply.. WOW.

And some other moment are really enjoyable, like the boxing fight.

Tarantino is a master. Everything fit in his movie and the ators are very good and what we have to say about the choices for the music ?

Si le film est long à démarrer il gagne en intérêt au fur et à mesure qu'il avance. En plus, on ne peut nier à quel point Clouzot maîtrise habilement les tensions et ce malgré ses personnages volontairement peu attachants interprétés par des acteurs livrant de fortes performances très physique qui ne néglige pas un arrière-psychologique déroutant.

I,M not sure if he was as good as the first, still better than the second, some really good fun, sean connery and Ford are incredible together, a lot of good parts. Indiana Jones as we like it!

Wow, what a joyful romantic comedy! Touching, funny and romantic. The end is sublime and really touch my heart (the last quote is incredible.) And what about all thoses geniuses ideas Allen find to add an excellent rhytm to his movie. Great movie. Deserves all his wins and his prestige!

Gotta change to 5 stars. It was better than the first time ! Also a really really good movie. I've gotta have to watch it another and another time ;-)

Wow! On the esthetic side, Tykwer is awesome, the perfume and faubourg st-denis only confirmed it after this awesome start he made. Simply breathtaking, brilliant and intelligent, the movie is a wonder. Nearly perfect.

Some aspect of direction are really interesting, but the story is making us loosing interest as it goes further and further, but it's still goot and the experience worth the watch.
