Independent Comic Movies!!!

I grew up watching this movie. I'm sure that it is very corny and if I were to watch it now I would not think much of it. But from what I can remember this movie rocked!

I have to thank my brother for this one. When I was over at his place one time I got interested in this movie. He had it taped (vcr) and he liked it therefore I gained a respect for the odd variation of characters. It was different, and then I liked it, now I'm torn to say that it is just an "allright" film.

They finally made a He-Man film. Too bad it was corny as hell. They changed some major parts... Like not including battle cat and orko. They needed to make skeletor more of a menace and his henchmen more of a problem. Anyway this is dolph lundren's first mistake. (the punisher is #2) and he really never recovered.

Fabulous! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action movie... can it be done. Sure! This one and the second one can only be considered. The suits were well done... lets just say that they didn't give the illusion of fantasy away. The voice actors classic. This movie was very nice.

I think the publicity of this moive was 10 times more than the movie actually was. I would compare the publicity with Batman but the actual fan outcome was horrible. They even made a nintendo game from this movie. That sucked too!

From what I remember from this movie; I didn't like it much, and the rocket pack sucked. I probably should watch it again to gain a true understanding but, to know that it sucked when I was younger only means that it has a 85% chance of sucking now.

They updated the turtle costumes a bit and added a decent soundtrack. Vanilla Ice was Huge at the time so they decided to give him the opportunity to include a song. "Ninja Rap" along with it's own dance and everything. How gay. Everything else was ok. It was nice that they introduced Casey Jones but his character was lack of ... lets say "character".

Brandon Lee is quiet. The crow doesn't talk much. Very Dark film. It's too bad that gun was loaded on the set...

Classic Jim Carey! The mask had everyone sayin' "Smokin!" and many other Jim Carey-isms "Somebody Stop me!". This also features Cameron Diaz before she became popular.

It has begun! This first Movie is not as bad as the second. They do a fairly good job sticking to the game as a basis to draw a story from. But still... its corny.

This movie isn't bad. The suit for Spawn is a bit "TMNT-ish" but it's allright. They stuck really close to the independent comic's McFarlane must be proud.

Great Movie. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones save the planet constantly and they don't even get to have girlfriends. That sucks! It's tough to be an MIB agent. This movie has great originality (comic source of course) and great actors playing the part.

Corny. This movie did nothing to help Mr. Broderick's falling career. I think he was trying to revive it during this time and this and Godzilla just wasn't smart moves on his part.

The sequel is just as good as the first. The ending (payoff) is not like I hoped (kind of fell short) but it was still pretty good. It's funny to me that they made the first super-model the actual villain in this flick.

Love this movie! For an independent comic this movie blows some out of the water. Ron Perlman was a genius selection for Hellboy. The love interest is also something solid and believable. Good Movie.

This movie had me hooked in the beginning. Started with good ideas and then halfway through it the movie got way cheesy/corny. The lines that came out of they're actor spoken mouths were just horrible. The "force ball" fights were boring and the ending was like "ho-humm". In short good ideas but didn't do anything with them.

Amazing! This movie was all around awesome. Acting, Cinematography, Plot, Direction, Length and even the blades of grass were right on the money. SPARTA!!!!!! I compare it to a Gladiator meets Sin City with a dash of Lord of the rings. I have heard a lot of buzz over this movie and I tried not to listen but now I have become part of that BUZZ...
