I did really enjoy this trilogy of lesbian shorts, but it lacks depth to the groundbreak 'If These Walls Could Talk'. Vanessa Redgrave's story is unbelievably touching. The problem is that although the other two stories contain good ideas they lack as much depth or feeling.

The guy that plays the main character, Eric, is just so unbelievably endearing in his thoroughly honest portrayal of struggling with his feelings. The friend, Maggie, is also portayed with amazing honesty, and sometimes the lesbian friend steals the show. Beautifully acted. I want my own Eric to take home to mum.

All the characters are hiding secrets pretty much and they spin a complicated web with their relationships and issues. It's funny, yet serious at the same time! I laughed out loud when there was a musical number at the end!! Just bloody brilliant. I'm definitely going to buy it!

This movie is amazingly acted, and is a bleakly beautiful film. Johnny is absolutely amazing, as are Morton and Pike. It is deeply dark, and the fact that Johnny's character is so deeply ugly inside in many ways that it eventually catches up with him on the outside gives you a harsh lesson about morality, and the fact that what goes around comes around. Brilliant, but at times difficult to watch.

I was highly disappointed by this movie... It took ages to get into because it was so fractured from the beginning, and confused you. It was really difficult to relate or feel anything for the characters until nearer the end, when it got slightly better but most of the characters felt cold. Shame.

This is one of the sweetest foreign movies I have seen in a long time. It has a big heart. It's like a grittier 'Ma Vie En Rose'. Much better characters and actors. The lead makes you realise how beautiful he is without hardly trying, although he does have more mince than the local butcher's!! Brilliant.

This movie has a lot more heart and soul than Flags of Our Fathers. It shows the Japanese showing more mercy than the Americans which was surprising, although not at the same time. It shows the futility of war when one nation is a giant compared to the other. You can relate it to any war you like. I love the bleakness of the cinematography colours too.

Ryan Gosling shines as always in this brilliant drama. The cinematography is great, because each shot is shaking slightly as if he is constantly buzzing throughout, and with the amount of drugs his character's taking he probably is!! The friendship between him and his student is tough and heart-warming. Outstanding.

Jack Baxter who plays Midget Hollow is absolutely stunning, and you totally fall for his confused character who is sleeping with both sexes. This movie reminds me of how much I miss Australia and Australians too! Love their sense of humour and must move back there!

It is great watching this movie unravel. It unravels slowly, but so did the case over the years, so why should the movie be any faster? I actually cringed at the killings. Probably because I knew this happened to actual people. I'm sure the Zodiac is smiling from his grave that this movie was made. All I can say is great drama, and at least it did the actual case justice...

I think this is a brilliant movie about obsession, addiction, and circumstance. It's like 'Scent of a Woman' on crack and acid and warped back in time. Extremely clever in my opinion. What would you do if you had a heightened sense? Beautifully constructed movie with great cinematography, editing, and acting. Highly under-rated.

One of the best movies I'd seen in a long time. Watching each member of the family struggle with their own demons after the death of the oldest son is just amazing. They are all completely different characters with their own slight similarities. It is really funny in places and completely poignant. Sigourney Weaver and Emile Hirsch steal the show and rightly so. I was extremely impressed with this movie. In some ways I was expecting a rom com, but I was completely proved wrong. Both Jude and Juliette were phenomenal! One of the best and heart-felt dramas I've seen in a very long time!

I was extremely under-whelmed by this movie. It brings up such amazing questions when you have fag hags. They can so fall in love with you if you aren't careful. Problem is this whole movie is based on arguments between gay boy and straight female. That ISN'T entertainment!!

This is a very poignant drama which follows three stories. One of a young gay guy with HIV who wants to save turtles, one of a preacher's wife who misses her son, and one of a woman who misses the child she gave up for adoption. I thought it was really well done, and it's based on a true story, which I believe it did justice as you do feel for all of the character's one way or the other. I'm not surprised that it's the preacher who comes off worst, as religion has blinded throughout the years.

Hmm... It was alright, but a bit predictable in places, and the ending was pretty dull. The relationship between the couple was a bit stale, but there was some good action. It's worth watching once, but that's about it. An ok movie.

The best thing about this movie is Salma Hayek's performance. She is cold and calculating, yet emotional with her own inner and outer turmoils. Watch this movie if just for that! My biggest issue was how slow and dull this was in points and unfortunately that dulled the other moments of sheer brilliance.

This movie is pretty scary when you think about the fact that there is so much homophobic violence still, not matter how far we've progressed. I think this film attacks the subject brilliant, with the fact I was questioning if my partner was killed in such an attack would I maybe seek revenge and take it into my own hands as the authorities hadn't? If I loved someone that much... Yes, I probably would. Brilliant movie that needed to be made, and very well done.

Wow!! Just amazing performances from Heath and Abbie. They were absolutely brilliant! One of the best drug/romance drams you can imagine. Incredibly depressing in places, but made with such heart. It's their addiction to each other, as well as heroine that rips them apart...

This is one of those movies that is incredibly stark, yet beautiful at the same time. The performances from Scarlett and Colin are phenomenal. It's amazing how Scarlett's character can say so much without actually saying much at all. It's all expression and mannerism. One of those period pieces that are definitely worth seeing...

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is one of the best foreign movies I have ever seen. It's full of amazing shots, amazing acting, and amazing characters. The suspense is phenomenal as is the drama, and my God... is it worth it! This movie is also incredibly bleak but done with such compassion. Incest isn't a nice subject, but this tackles it with gusto that includes both innocence and violent angst... All I can say is watch it for yourself!

This movie is along the lines of Wolf Creek, athough that is more sadistic, and this is more psychological. People expecting gore won't get it till the last ten minutes, but I think that is what's clever about this film and the mind games it plays throughout... It makes it different. A well acted suspenseful drama...

This is a movie that reminded me what a phenomenal actress Jodie Foster is. It is a completely brilliant revenge movie as well, and really makes you question what is wrong and what is right? I completely went on the journey with Jodie's character and in my opinion this is a must see movie...

Wow! David Morse is generally scary as the neighbour in suspicion. Definitely an amazing drama/thriller. It actually scared me more than most horrors and is a brilliant concept! What would I do if I was under house arrest? Probably go insane! I definitely wouldn't spy on mnay of my neighbours as this neighbourhood is dull! Sheer genius though!

This is a good, easily watchable drama with a few well-placed laughs thrown in. There are definitely worse ways to spend two hours! Beautiful setting, and a really 'nice' story.

This may well be an ultimate revenge movie where Kevin Bacon is amazing... But, would you keep your family in the house instead of making them flee. Don't get me wrong, if anyone touched my siblings or mum I would do exactly what he did without any care for myself but I'd make sure who was left was safe. It's a well done film that pissed me off, but I'm glad I saw. Nuff said...

This is a really good film, but was really annoying in places, and frustrating to watch. It is well acted although Keira's accent is completely bloody annoying and I wanted to slap her. A great story, and incredibly beautiful in places. James is as gorgeous as ever... I think that's the best thing about this movie!

This was pretty good actually, and does beg the question what would you do if you couldn't speak and were the only witness of a murder? The main actress played it really well, and there were plenty of twists and turns. Definitely a thriller that was worth the watch!

It's actually pretty amazing to see Denzel playing someone on the other side of the law, and he completely pulls it off in this. It's one of the best dramas I've seen in a long time! My only issie with it is that it goes on a bit too long, but other than that it's a great cast, and a great true crime film, and definitely worth checking out...

This was actually a very well done BBC drama. Nice and gory too! Although, Mrs Lovett's accent was extremely annoying Ray Winstone really stole the show as Mr. Todd. A really good portayal.

This is a brilliant period drama done by the BBC, and thoroughly watchable. A bit of an untold story about Jane Austen herself. Definitely worth checking out if you are able.

The cinematography is amazing in this movie. Just the sheer variety of all the different places the characters go to makes it breath-taking. The different peoples of South America they meet and sometimes help is very touching. And Gael Garcia Bernal is sexy as hell! Very good movie.

This really seems to be a career defining role for Costner. It's completely different to anything he's done before and BLOODY brilliant. Literally. I love it. All of the twists and turns with respectful characters makes this a pretty great film. Check the acting!

Talk about disappointed... What could have been a great movie really was pretty awful. This could have been great, but I just didn't believe any of it, the ending was not as climactic as it could have been and it was altogether disjointed. Also, I hate it when Robin Williamsd plays a bad guy. It makes me uneasy.

I really wish that the first half of this movie was as great as the second half or second third. I find it incredibly dull until then. Jennifer Hudson is deserving of that Oscar as she wipes the floor with anyone else in this film. She was phenomenal, and her singing just makes my spine tingle. Worth watching, on only for her!

This movie could have been so much better except that every argument that didn't include both main actors was absolutely terrible and seemed badly improvised. Also, Casim's best friend was a huge hypocrite with no real case. This could have been an amazing film, but the fact that the lesser cast were mostly poorly cast and arguments were sheer bollocks, it made it VERY mediocre. Shame. Oh, and also, what of her family?! Hello!!

This is just an incredibly original love story, and although not true to life, it;s very clever the way everything is linked throughout the story. Definitely a love story with a difference, and all the main characters are very appealing. Comedy & tragedy... Just the way a movie loosely based on Shakespeare should be...

Thios movie was extremely well cast. I thought all the expression and emotion the main actress brought through in just her eyes was brilliant. It is a fairly bleak story, but if you want a fairly calm drama this is for you.

This is one of the sexiest films I have ever seen! If you don't mind fairly graphic sex scenes this is just incredibly well done. The emotion brought through the characters as well as passion is just immense. It is shot well, with a soundtrack that doesn't over-power the goings on. Understated at times to it's own advantage this is one steamy watch that is well worth it!

This is one sexy movie... And weird as always when it comes to Larry Clark's movies! The main character is weirdly attractive, and all characters have weird quirks with them and their families. It has it's own very bizarere insight!

I prefer Cellular to be honest! Kim Basinger is brilliant as this woman being pursued by evil youths, and Lukas Haas makes a scary bad boy, but a whole film of terror doesn't work in this instance...

There are some brilliant camera shots in this, and it has the most eclectic soundtrack I've heard in a while. Gabe Nevins plays the moody skate-boarding lead really well (although I'm guessing it wasn't a stretch), and is scarily beautiful. You can't help but want to watch him. Very interesting drama... But it does has dull points where you're willing something to happen!

Daniel Day Lewis gives an acting tour de force... If I had one hundredth of his talent as an actor I'd be a lucky man. Can I say that I enjoyed this movie a lot? No, but it is brilliant. I found it weird how HW grows up, but Eli doesn't change... At the same time maybe the ending wouldn't have had the effect it did if it had been a different actor. Brilliant, shocking, but not pleasant...

This movie was a nice surprise... Angelina's name drew me to it, and watching it I realised it must have been when she had her lesbian relationship, as the girl is in it. The characters are really good, Ms Jolie's breasts look amazing (haha!), and you can see similarities between her character in this and her Oscar-winning performance in "Girl, Interrupted", but it's a good gritty drama. Girl power I say!

A bloody good action film, and pretty good ending for the trilogy. Interesting to find out a bit more about Bourne and all his circumstances that made him who he is. Definitely worth a watch...

Talk about an amazingly freaky movie... Very well acted by both! Not exactly the kind of film you want to watch again and again, but really good. Yes, people are going to keep making "Rosemary's Baby" comparisons, and fair enough, but it is a good twisted film with two amazing actors...

Is it awful when as a gay man you want to sleep with the three room-mates? Or just human? Or are you glad the characters are gay? Anyway, despite all that this is a really good film where you really care about the characters. There is a great story, and from young-un to the main rent boy you actually really feel for them all equally. Very well done.

The word WOW sums this up... It's unbelievable to me that someone did all this. I would love to live two weeks in the wild to say I've done it, but what this guy did is immense, and I wish he could have told us all in person rather than writing...

Christian Bale gives an amazing performance is this war rescue movie. A true story with an eventual happy ending. It's gritty and tugs with most strings within you, but it gets so bleak in places that it doesn't matter how true it is as things are only touched on. What is good could have been great from something that was bad.

It's a 'nice' film. There really isn't too much to say other than that! It's worth a watch if you're bored. It's a 'nice' enough story with a 'nice' cast, and 'nice' setting. And it's 'nice' to see Daniel Radcliffe get laid bless him!

Sparkle is a hidden gem that I stumbled across! Stockhard Channing, with Anthony Head as her gay brother?! And the lead guy is doing her and her daughter! That's a crude explanation! But it's just a brilliant romantic drama, and I adore it!!

This movie is just amazing... Watching the deconstruction unfold, and yet proving at the same time that some people really ARE meant to be together. Carrey in what is most likely his best role, and Winslet in one of hers. I love a quirky Kate! It is beautiful, magical, poignant, depressing, and uplifting, and not many movies can say that...

Just Wow... You have so many mixed feelings watching this movie it's intrue. It is deeply and darkly funny, yet completely tragic in places. Colin Farrell is genius in the role, and you root for him, not matter how much of a twat he's acting. Complete bloody movie genius... And he totally hates Bruges! I can vouch it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world...

It has some great actors in it, but it is so flat most of the way through that if it was a person you would shake them to get more of a response out of them! I really felt for Burn Gorman too whose character was dubbed (by himself I'm sure) really badly throughout the film so when he was on screen it was distracting. I bet he wasn't too happy at the premier... It's OK, but really it's probably best to watch if you want a good night's sleep after...

This is a really cute film. The two main actors are simply brilliant young talent. They completely make the film. It's heart-warming, dramatic and a good laugh. Really well-made, but the French kid's character is completely unneccessary. Well worth a watch for anyone!

This was one of the best rom-coms I've seen in ages. All the different characters & their different issues and entanglements gave it a believability, and you're rooting for the characters throughout. A stellar cast and a great script means it is well worth sitting down with some friends and a cup of hot chocolate to watch this.

This was a very random pastiche of a movie... There are a lot of trucker killer movies. I believe this is the first British one after Aussie and US equivalents. There were times when it was a bit too real, but also points where the main character had options that would have been better! Very odd, but amazingly acted!!

This is a truly beautiful film, warts and all... Just like humanity... It's always a shame about the warts, but I loves it! The director I have to give the biggest props to! That was phenomenally done! Just amazing. The hype is ripe!

Wow. This is a coming of age story you have never seen. This is a vampire movie you have never seen. It is a foreign film du force. Just unbelievably good with young actors that bring it to life. Poignant, pale, and abosolutely poetic. I can't praise this movie enough. You watching it is the only justice.

This is an incredibly well-acted movie. The issue is that it is very dull in places, and quite drawn out. It is a complete study of the dissolution of a marriage/relationship in a way. Love & hate really do go hand in hand at times, because they are the strongest emotions. It is very realistic, but if you are having marital problems of your own it's probably not a good idea to watch it!!

Wow! The reviews and the Oscars don't even do this film justice. It's really empowering to watch the story of someone like Milk, who campaigned so much for not only us gays, but all minorities. It's people like him, and the gays involved in the Stonewall riots that paved the way for us to be so much luckier today and not have to hide in the woodwork. I wasn't a Sean Penn fan at all until watching this film, but he embodied the real-life character he played. From smiling to anger to crying... This movie brought out every emotion. Phenomenal.

This was one of the bleakest movies I have ever seen. It was a really interesting concept though, because as everyone becomes blind they become (non flesh-eating) zombies stumbling about. It shines an interesting light on humanity, dependency, and all kinds of human nature. There are times you want to turn away from the film as it is that bleak & you don't think it can get bleaker. A lot of white screen used, and a lot of extremely dark screen used. Clever in someways. Irritating in others. Worth watching, although maybe not owning!

I thought that this movie was really well done considering they had what is known as a micro-budget! To be fair, I think it's good anyway, and there hasn't been a brit-horror quite like this. Mum & Dad are disturbed, but I sometimes feel like I can relate to parts of mum (that's so wrong!)... It's sick but with very mild humour in places. The main character who is 'adopted' is given an emotional tour de force by the actress playing her. Clever & should be commended in what they did with so little.

This movie is sick and unrelenting. As a viewer you don't really get any satisfaction in a way because the innocent get slaughtered while the sicko gets spared, and is completely unapologetic. That said, it is very well done, and maybe what is the most disturbing thing is how it really could happen. With the British youth yob culture we have, which is getting worse... Who is to say it couldn't? Scary.

OK... This movie does hit all emotions... It starts off as a sweet love story. You don't know the two main characters' names, they just start flirting, but there's religion involved. Blah. Then you realise finally why one character is so annoyingly quiet, and I clocked why slightly before. It gets darker. Then the Dream Boy (who is a dream boat) takes him on a trip with two mates, and it gets a confusing ending. I'm gonna read the book because this frustrated the bloody hell out of me! Watch & you'll understand what I mean. This shouldn't have had a Mulholland Drive moment!!!!!!!
