Yoru no pikunikku (Night Time Picnic) (2006,  Unrated)
Yoru no pikunikku (Night Time Picnic)
It was a bit slow paced and it wasn't most satisfying in the end, but I liked it.

Hana yori dango: Fainaru, (Boys Over Flowers: Final) (2008,  PG)
Hana yori dango: Fainaru, (Boys Over Flowers: Final)
It disappointed me a lot - I expected much more after the great series. Makino's character lost a lot of its appeal and the plot is quite weak too. Not to mention the film gets more and more cheesy as we approach the end - and that's absolutely a turn-off, considering the Hana Yori Dango series. It was good, but far from as good as the drama was.

Itsuka no kimi e (2007,  Unrated)
Itsuka no kimi e
I liked the story. It wasn't anything special, but it was good enough.
4
Ai no kotodama (2008,  PG)
Ai no kotodama
I was pretty much disappointed. The story was quite ordinary and the twist was barely noticeable. Good it only lasted one hour, I was on verge of falling asleep.
5
Hana to Alice (Hana & Alice) (2004,  Unrated)
Hana to Alice (Hana & Alice)
Quite interesting idea, but not nearly as interesting film. The story is quite simple and the film has great moments - like Alice's dance in the end, but I really don't see a reason for this to last more then 2 hours! I was bored, had to pause the film million times - that was very very bad!
6
Kamen Raidâ: The First (Masked Rider: The First) (2005,  Unrated)
Kamen Raidâ: The First (Masked Rider: The First)
It was fun and, since I'm not a big fan of action I was satisfied with lacking of it. It is quite Power Ranger-ish - although better, but I suppose that's how it should be, so I deal with that.
7
Campaign (2007,  Unrated)
Campaign
Excellent! But way longer then it should be.
8
Battle Royale (Batoru Rowaiaru) (2001,  Unrated)
Battle Royale (Batoru Rowaiaru)
Really great film - it has its reputation for a reason. Insane and worth watching!

Hatsuyuki no koi: Virgin snow (2007,  Unrated)
Hatsuyuki no koi: Virgin snow
Good Japanese-Korean collaboration. It's a nice romantic film. The cast is good too, Lee Junki once again shows his talent. Aoi Miyazaki is not bad either.
10
Chakushin Ari (One Missed Call) (2003,  R)
Chakushin Ari (One Missed Call)
Good horror - but that's it, I'm not much of a horror person.
11
Koi no mon (Otakus in Love) (2004,  Unrated)
Koi no mon (Otakus in Love)
Interesting... well, a fun glimpse into the weird world of otakus, so, of course film needs to be weird too. I liked it.
12
Tôkyô Sonata (Tokyo Sonata) (2009,  PG-13)
Tôkyô Sonata (Tokyo Sonata)
I loved it. The story unfolds in such a simple and beautiful way, yet it strikes you powerfully. At least that kind of impression I got watching it.
13
Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi) (2001,  PG)
Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi)
I really enjoyed it! Great film!
14
Nana (2005,  Unrated)
Nana
I didn't read manga or watched anime, but still I liked this film very much. Music parts were a plus... or maybe I'm just biased because of Narimiya Hiroki. Anyway, I enjoyed this one.
15
Nana 2 (2005,  Unrated)
Nana 2
The first one was way better, but still, this one didn't disappoint me much.
16
The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi (2003,  R)
17
Sukiyaki Western Django (2008,  R)
Sukiyaki Western Django
Quite a mix! It's interesting and amusing, although from time to time I was on the verge of falling asleep. Not even a brilliant cinematography could do anything about it.
18
Yume jû-ya (Ten Nights of Dreams) (2006,  Unrated)
Yume jû-ya (Ten Nights of Dreams)
Great! Tenth dream was perhaps a bit too much for my taste, but the film is excellent nevertheless.
