What's Eating Gilbert Grape
Ugh...I'm like...DISGUSTED by how marvelous this movie was!!! Who would have ever thought of making a movie about having to deal with a mentally-retarded brother AND a dangerously overweight mother? I loved this movie. I wish I could watch it a million times in one day, but unfortunately, there aren't that many hours in a day. ^_^

Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCarpio were totally and completely brilliant in this.

I recommend this to everyone that enjoys movies.

The Brave (1997,  Unrated)
The Brave
The only thing I have to say about this movie it, I was completely wrong on how good this movie was going to be. I thought this movie was about a tribe of indians, but, boy...was I way off!!

To set some people straight, this movie is a about a very brave man, who's name is Raphael[played by Johnny Depp]. Him, and his family are all poor, and live near a garbage dump, so that they can get some extra things to live. Raphael has a wife, and two kids, a boy named Frankie, and a girl named Marta. Raphael is in search of a job, and he finally finds one that will pay him $50,000, but to do what? That is the mystery during the whole film. Raphael build a sort of "carnival" with the money he got, that has a pool, a swing, a spinning plastic horse ride, and much more. Raphael's wife is wondering where Raphael is getting the money for this, and accuses him of stealing, but Raphael sets her straight, and tells her its a job. There is a fiesta a little bit later. and everyone is asking him if THEY can get a job where Raphael is working, but Raphael always says there aren't any openings. The ending comes soon after that, but I would rather not spoil it for anyone. You'll have to watch it yourself. All I have to say, is that the ending made me, for the first time, REALLY cry.

A Nightmare on Elm Street
Even though it was really scary, and had bad effect and stuff, I still loved it. I mean what's a better movie with a guy with a guy with knifes for fingers and Johnny Depp? Well, maybe Edward Scisorhands, but you get the point! =]

Chocolat (2000,  PG-13)

Even though Johnny Depp's total time on this movie was like 20 minutes out of 120 minutes, and it was all about one OTHER actress, I still think this movie was awesome!=]

The Astronaut's Wife (1999,  R)
The Astronaut's Wife
This movie gave me the shivers through the entire movie...I almost cried because it was so scary. When I was halfway through, I started coming up with this comment. I wanted to put it on here, right that second, but I just couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Then I realized, I was REALLY into the movie. The whole cast did a phenomenal job making this movie awesome.

Nick of Time (1995,  R)
Nick of Time
I would say the best word to describe this movie is CREEPY!! I was seriously CREEPED out when I was watching this, but to me, this was VERY good!! I was at the edge of my seat shouting DON'T DO IT!! and NOOOOO!!! during about half the movie! The ending was VERY suprising!! Also, Johnny's character was VERY suprising. He was so normal, that it's scary!!

Blow (2001,  R)
Blow
Sooooo sad!! I can't believe what a bastard George was!!!!!! But I guess that's what he gets for selling drugs. Ugh, I wanted to slap Mirtha when she was in the car with george, and she made George get arrested, when SHE should've been the one being arrested. UGH!!! George's little girl, Christina, was so cute. But I can't belive he blew her off. That was REAL shitty!!! I wanted to punch George so many times in the movie, but then again i also wanted to hug him and kiss him at other times to comfort him...

Great movie, GREAT cast.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998,  R)
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
This is the BEST drug-related movie I've ever seen. It's also the ONLY one I've ever seen too. lol.

This movie is about how two guys go from place to place in Las Vegas, equipped with a suitcase full of drugs. They were first sent to Las Vegas to write a story on a motorcycle race, but end up going in search of the "American Dream." Throughtout the whole movie, both of them are totally drugged up. A couple of times they almost died of drug overdose, and a few times from suicidal attempts. While the two guys[Raoul Duke & Dr. Gonzo] are drugged up, they meet a few people on their way to finding the "American Dream ," like a hitchhiker[who finds that Duke and Gonzo are completely insane] and Lucy[an artist who loves to draw Barbra Streisand]. To me, there's not even an ending to this movie, so thewres nothing not to reveal. ^_^

Arizona Dream (1993,  R)
Arizona Dream
This was a very confusing movie. I didn't understand a lot of things in this movie. I still liked it though. There were times in this movie where I was like awww, because of the romance. I was also like WWWHHYYYY?!?! because of the drama and tragedies. I was also like Hahahaha, that's funny, because of the humor, which there was a lot of in this. Most of the time, I had my face like this: 0_o because this movie had hardly any sense. First of all, what 23 year old would want to love a 45 year old, that was a phsycopath?? Second of all, why would a 25 year old want to marry like an 80 year old man?? And third of all, who would be so obsessed with turtles, that they actually THOUGHT they were going to become a turtle when they die??? Those questions went through my minds during the movie. The cast sure did a great job of everyone acting like CRRRRAAAAZZZZYYY people!!!

The Ninth Gate (1999,  R)
The Ninth Gate
This was a VERY creepy movie. VERY creepy. But that's why I loved it. ^_^ Johnny Depp once again did a great performance. He was seriously awesome.

The Ninth Gate is about a guy named Dean Corso, who is a guy who sells rare books. He gets hired to find the original version of a book called The Nine Gates, which is meant to raise the Devil. So he is given one version fo the book, by the guy who he was hired by, and goes in search for the other two books in the world. He goes to the first person, but on the way there, he finds there is a girl that is following him around, and Corso decides to call her Greeneyes, since she has green eyes. So Corso arrives and the first guy's house, and he examines the book to find out there are some little differences in the pictures, like differences in little initials, and switched hands to hold keys. He ends up dying a tragic death by "drowning" according to Greeneyes. The version of The Nine Gates that the guy had was buring in his fireplace, and Corso managed to save it, but it wa shalf burned. The same thing happens with the next person, exept the lady dies in a house fire, and it was too late for Corso to save her book, it was already completely covered with fire. So Corso ends up having a book and a half, and a "guardian angel"[Greeneyes]. Corso ends up following a lady, who was the wife to the author of The Nine Gates, and sees she was going to a Devil worshipping get-together. And, of course, the ending is close to there, and, knowing me, I'm not goign to spoil the ending. ^_^ WATCH THE MOVIE YOURSELF!!

The Man Who Cried (2000,  R)
The Man Who Cried
This movie was NOTHING that I thought it would be. I loved it anyway. =]

Christina Ricci once again proved to me that she is a marvelous actress. She's gone a long way from Adam's Family.

Johnny Depp has too, of course, shown me that he deserves to be in my favorite actors. Unfortunately, he only had a few lines, but he was in a lot of scenes, standing in a dark corner, being mysterious. He really had an impact on the story.

I couldn't believe how good this movie turned out to be. I almost feel like watching it one more time, just so that I can focus on the details. This movie can really tell people about how it was a long time ago, with all the wars going on. Awesome movie, by an awesome cast.

From Hell (2001,  R)
From Hell
I couldn't believe the ending...I can't say that I would never have guessed it, because I had a little, teeny-tiny feeling that the ending would be that. I would say it, but, yet again, I don't want to spoil the ending. ^_^

This movie had a very interesting story. This was about a guy named Jack the Ripper, who, in this movie, steals whore's...ahem, uteruses, and other organs. No one knows who is doing it, and everyone in town demands to know, so an inspector, Inspector Fredrick Abberline, tries to figure it out. This particular inspector apparently has visions, and can tell who is going to get killed, in his dreams. The inspector figures out that Jack the Ripper always gives grapes and a certain type of alchohol to all of his victims, so he has to be rich, because hardly anyone can afford grapes. The inspector eventually figures out who it is, with the help of his new love, Mary Kelly. Yet again, I'm not going to say the ending, for the some of you who want to see the movie. ^_^

Donnie Brasco (1997,  R)
Donnie Brasco
Oh...my...gosh! I didn't think it was humanly possible, but after the couple minutes of this movie, I didn't even notice Johnny was in this! I was so into the movie, I didn't care who was who, I just wanted to watch it!!

This movie can REALLY tell a story. I was confused at first, I was thinking: Does Joe/Donnie have a secret life, that he's hiding from his wife? It turns out, no, he didn't. He was just an undercover FBI agent, who, by the ending, really DID have a secret life. I think it had the most grossest bloody[as in gory, not as in pirate language] part I've ever seen: taking out body organs from bodies. *shivers*

I would say this movie was really good, and I can't wait until I find the book this movie was based on. ^_^

Platoon (1986,  R)
Platoon
Not very exciting... I mean, it has it's moments. Charlie Sheen is pretty funny in this. But other than Johnny and Charlie being in it, it's just a boring war movie.
29
Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (2005,  PG)
Tim Burton's Corpse Bride
Not my type of movie, but hey, at least it has Johnny Depp in it! This was probably one of the best cartoon movies out there, besides Bambi. ^_^
30
Dead Man (1995,  R)
Dead Man
Such an awesome movie! I think that putting htis movie in balck and white really put the emphasis on how far back this was. I couldn't believe how horrible it was back then, with all the meaningless killings, and the amount of guns everyone had...I am really grateful that it's the 21st century. I always say the whole cast did a great job, but this time, I truly mean it. Johnny Depp could surely fake his injuries, Gary Farmer could clearly say a message that he hates white men, the three serial killers could really make it out that they're crazy, and everyone else could really help tell the story.

Private Resort (,  R)
32
The Libertine (2006,  R)
The Libertine
Dang this movie was good...even though Johnny looked ugly at the end, I knew he was still the hot, sexy, gorgeous

Johnny on the inside! Even though I think it would've been a tad akward for him to be...ahem, "playing" with other girls in the movie, even though I'm pretty sure him and Vanessa had a child by then...lol

Before Night Falls (2000,  R)
Before Night Falls
This was kind of...ahem, weird. Actually, the best word for this movie was BORING! If Johnny Depp wasn't in this, I would have given thiis half a star...
