What's Eating Gilbert Grape
Johnny and little Leo in one movie. lol. Simple film, but I love the story. DiCaprio deserved that Oscar nomination... he could've won too.

Benny & Joon (1993,  PG)
Benny & Joon
I knew absolutely nothing about this movie when I first came upon watching it. I somehow got an impression that this would be a serious/drama type of film.

What a wonderful surprise I got. Despite the movie having a serious topic (joon's mental illness) the director handled it well as he presented it as a romantic comedy.

Johnny Depp is, as always, a joy to watch. He did the physical comedy stunts pretty well! And well, Aidan Quinn always makes me love him. (practical magic!!)

Don Juan DeMarco (1994,  PG-13)
Don Juan DeMarco
Funny, very sensual movie. If you're not head over heels about Johnny Depp yet, you're a frickin' rock if you're still not after this movie. (well, maybe applicable to the ladies only)

Marlon Brando was superb as well.

For some reason I really find movies about crazy people extremely entertaining. (I think I should make a list.)

"Now I know why he (Johnny Depp) agreed to do Pirates 3... They (the producers) threatened to show this to the world!"

That was what my cousin said while we were watching this movie. Honestly, it's been a while since we laughed and screamed this much.

I was supposed to take a bath, but then as I passed my the TV where my cousin was watching, I noticed "JOHNNY DEPP" in the opening credits, and dude, of course I stopped and sat down to watch.

Right from the start, you know that this will be a not-so-serious movie, but I never thought it'll get dumber and dumber by the minute. Then you start asking yourself, "What the hell was Johnny Depp thinking when he did this?" But then you realize, this is the kind of role he'll get a kick out off.

For those who want to watch it, prepare to lose a few brain cells, and I recommend watching it with a bunch of people (all the johnny fans you know) because it'll be a fun time going locca over Johnny Depp.

If I didn't make myself clear the first time, you watch this movie for Johnny Depp, and nothing else. I hope Hatchett-face won't scare you off.
