Again proving Mike Myers is a genius. A Scottish ogre. You have to love it!! And Eddie Murphy morphing into the funniest animated character of all time... Donkey. Cameron disappoints me as the Princess, but other than that sheer brilliance.

Hmm... It's ashame really. It's a watchable, and good movie, but it just isn't anywhere near as good as the first two. The ending is pretty different though.

Again, not as good as the first two, but in my opinion it IS slightly better than number three. I like the fact that Ripley has become a hybrid, and I think Winona's character adds a little something. Good, but not great by any means.

As a child I could watch this movie again and again. I loved the all especially PETREE!!! Oh, such beautiful characters... and such a beautiful kids movie. Then they spoilt it with more sequels than a trilogy. In fact they just spoilt it, but this original is perfection!!

All I can say is... Wow!! You may get lost a couple of times, but this movie is one of the most beautiful things I have ever watched. It's like Matrix on acid. Mad colours and brilliant effects ending with a moral lesson. Awe-inspiring!

This may be one of the best Sci Fi movies you will ever watch. It's simply brilliant. It ticks all the boxes for me, and carries straight on from Firefly, which is a series that should never have been cancelled. Action and fantasy galore. Bloody watch it!!

I was worried this may not live up to the first one, but honestly... I think it is far superior!! The graphics, and some of the comedy action sequences are second to none. I'm so impressed I'm biting my knuckles for number three!!!!

Well, what to say? It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, and the effects were pretty good. I liked the fact that the plot was completely unrelated to the first one. Yeah, it's watchable. They've set themselves up for another bloody sequel though.

There's some really good effects, and Kevin Bacon is scary as ever! He's always good at these bad boy roles! Freak and unique.

This movie is great fun! Totally loved the silly twist at the end. Nothing like a good bitch-fight! The shark scene was ridiculous, but the effects for it were great! It's good fun, but there's something missing from this movie and I can't quite put my finger on it. Oh, and the jealousy thing really does grate after a while.

I was worried I was going to hate this movie, but I think it is bloody brilliant, and a great pointer as to what can happen with political dictatorship, as well as having some great action. V is one of the best characters I've seen in a while!

I was kind of pleasantly surprised... Most American re-makes of Asian cinema are completely awful, but this one was okay. Still not great, but okay. I did jump a couple of times. Kairo is still better though, but thankyou for putting Ian Somerhalder in... Yummy!!

Very original, and freaky like any Asian horror should be. I'm sorry, but they do freaky so much better than the Americans. Definitely one to check out if you haven't.

A truly phenomenal modern fairy tale masterpiece. This movie had me gripped throughout. I was sympathetic to certain characters from the start and intrigued what my eyes would behold as I carried on watching it. True brilliance.

When this movie first started I was like 'Wow... This is cheesy', but it got better and better, and is a good convert from movie to film. It makes fun of itself, has great effects and doesn't try to be something it's not. Took a leaf out of Sin City's book.

Whoever wrote this movie has something wrong in the head. Very random in places, but that's what gives it the humour! It is bloody brilliant in it's own way, and now I really wanna see it in 3D.

The effects are amazing... It's ashame it really screwed up with the plot-line. How is it he catches the bad guys, but you never find out what happens to them and he gets fired from the company, before the manager realising he was wrong? Doesn't compute. Sorry, but could have been so much better.

This movie is completely original. I was really impressed. Great special effects, and a a thoroughly modern creature feature. Asian film-makers have done it again! Let's hope it isn't American-ised like so many other great Asian movies have been ruined in doing so. Check it out!

The concept of this movie is great, and there are times when it completely keeps you guessing. You fall in love a bit with the deceased girl too. You just can't help it. A brilliant movie that lacks somewhere, but good enough for me not to quite realise where!

I stumbled across this movie late at night, and boy am I glad I did! Just a great and original sci fi concept which you can completely relate to. Action and fantasy combined with Angela Bassett proving she can kick some ass. Highly recommend this!

Venom deserves a whole film to himself, so they better bloody resurrect him!!

This movie is great fun. Kevin Zegers is as drool-worthy as ever, especially with his top off... Yum!! I've always loved Samaire too, so it was fun seeing them together in a movie where Sharon Osbourne stars as a mother! Just great fun in the vein of Big or Freaky Friday, but comical in other ways due to the gender swap. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Wow!! You could not wish to see more special effects in a movie. Completely jam-packed, and if you tell me you got bored watching it then there is something wrong with you! It is a stunning action film. The only thing lacking for me was not seeing enough of the Transformers' personalities. That's a small shame...

You can see the way the genius that is Pan's Labyrinth would come about in this great directorial debut of del Toro. This is like a more modern Nosferatu... It has so many under-currents like addiction, eternal youth, and love bringing you through becoming a full monster. Very clever and scary beautiful movie...

The effects in this movie are simply amazing. It's really original, and well done, and one of those movies that if you are going to see it it's best to see at the cinema. My biggest issue with it is that there is too much shakiness in the camera work. I mean obviously it adds to the realism, but it's slightly too much and you can end up feeling slightly ill!! Other than that... Wicked take on a creature feature!

I finally saw an amazing movie that has many issues... A bit like me!! This movie has amazing effects for it's time and Jeff and Geena just steal the show with absolutely everything they do. A creature feature where the main actor becomes the creature... The moment where his ear falls off but you can see how much Geena's character loves him is genius!

This is a pretty good adaption of the Fairy Tale in it's own way, because it sticks to a very Grimm version. Definitely not for the kiddies, but that's good. It is kind of enjoyable in a really odd way, and Sigourney is such a great witch bitch. There is something very much lacking though, and I can't stick my crone-like finger on it...

This is a completely original fairy tale I was thoroughly impressed by... Really enjoyable from Ms Danes as a star in human form to Mr DeNiro as a gay pirate. Great fun, great effects, and yet again Ms Pfeiffer makes a great b***h, and Charlie Cox is a loveable nerd. Brilliant casting.

Just a brilliantly done beautiful fansy flick that anyone can enjoy! I can't wait for the next ones. Nicole Kidman makes a great villainess, and the CGI is bloody brilliant. Even the casting of the voices rocks.

I actually thoroughly injoyed this movie and thought it was like an alien version of 28 Days Later... The acting was brilliant, as I thought was the story-line. Many will disagree, but I highly recommend it... Well deserved paranoia thrown in for good measure, which I usually hate in movies!

It was about time there was a movie that was a tour-de-force for Will other than Ali, and this is it. A film with brilliant effects and amazing heart, but at the same time got a bit irritating in places. Nevertheless it is definitely worth a watch and is extremely well done. Would you have done things differently though?

There is no denying that the effects are phenomenal, but the reasoning behind everything is just vapid. Nothing is explained enough. There isn't enough emotion, and there's barely any conclusion to anything. Talk about loose strings! What the hell were they thinking when they made jumper jump so much it got completely disjointed?! An okay movie that could have been out of this world!

Action, romance, and science fiction... This is the only movie I need, an any child or adult should feel the same!! This is stunning... This is the way Short Circuit would have been if the animation was like it is now. You fall in love not only with WALL.E but EVE and MO too. It pushes every single button within you no matter what age you are. Thoroughly amazing, and if you haven't seen it yet then what's your problem?!

Classic creature feature! Highly amusing in places, because the creature itself is bloody pants! It doesn't even move it's mouth! Some lovely shots in it, but a bit crap. Nevertheless, it's a classic!

Hmmm... I was quite surprised how disappointed I was with this film, as I thought I'd love it! I actually didn't care for Harrison's character at all and really wanted him and Rutger to rip each other apart at the end. I foumnd it disjointed and confusing in places. The best characters were Sean Young and Darryl Hannah's, but still... Although visually stunning in places... I just don't really care for it at all.

This has a pretty good cast, but even they can't help the slum of this fantasy that tries to be comedic but is a complete joke in itself. It's almost like a bad Never Ending Story... And I mean the movie of that!! There are bigger and better dragons to fly!

What you have to love about Hellboy as a hero is the fact he's an anti-hero in some ways with a great sense of humour. This movie is great fun as well as being visually stunning in places.

I love the fact that in this sequel del Toro shows off much more as there was a bigger budget so we get to see how the creatures get even more fantastic. The problem is that the humour Hellboy has in the first one is lacking due to this ego trip. It does make it slightly more fantastic to watch though, and thus about balances out. A great mix of both for the next one please & I'll be in heaven!

Wow... Heath Ledger is absolutely phenomenal in this movie. Talk about leaving this planet with a bang. I thought Brandon Lee in The Crow did that in style, but Heath gives us a Tour de Force as the ultimate Joker. This movie brings it all... From Bale's brooding Batman once more to Eckhart similarly rubbing Tommy Lee's Two-Face into the dust. More disturbing, dark, and brilliant than any of those earlier Batman films... Sheer genius of comic hero perfection...

Madonna and Freddie Highmore as love interests is wrong from the start, but this is a cute family flick. Unfortunately the dubbing is too badly placed for most of it, but hey, this is a cute movie. It deserves that much, and Bowie as the villain is inspired.

People can diss this sequel as much as they want, but I am now officially a fan... It goes the comic route, but in a good way... Bit like an Evil Dead. It's not the original, but I'm guessing it's nowhere near as bad as a number 2! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Great banter. Some good characters, some bad acting... Genius! Hmmm... I'd go watch Apolocalypto if I were you! This movie is enjoyable with great effects, but a complete load of drivel... It isn't remotely historically accurate! Why do all the main characters speak English while other tribes & their enemies speak other languages? Why are their two enemies so incredibly advanced with things that definitely weren't around at 10,000 BC? And best of all... Why are their tribe rastas?! They all have bloody dreadlocks! If you fancy a gulity pleasure fantasy though, then just ignore that and it's good!

You have to have a sense of humour, and some B movie intelligence to enjoy this film. Jenna Jameson as an undead stripper?! The guy who starts the infection is called Byrd Flough (Bird Flu)... It starts off with the acting SO bad! But after 20 minutes it gets better and better... The effects crew on this are phenomenal... Seriously any horror fanatic will bow down to the variety of deaths, and zombies getting more degraded... I say watch it if any of this appeals!

I think Will Smith & Charlize do a pretty bloody good job in this. It's a really enjoyable twist on the superhero yarn... I do think that even more could have been done to be honest, but it's great fun, and definitely worth watching again, if just for the effects.

I was a bit disfappointed in the first half of the movie, as the sparkle that the first one had just wasn't there. It did get better though, and that was despite the fact that Caspian and his uncle had Spanish accents, and Peter's acting seems to have got worse since the first one. Not as magical, as the first, but still on track and beautifully done.

The casting is genius... Jeff Bridges as I've never seen him before, and Robert Downey Jr is amazing. The sequences are brilliant, but is it selfish that I wanted just slightly more?! This is what super hero movies should be like (take not Hulk), and I am definitely excited about the next instalment!

It's like Day of the Triffids meets Invasion of the Bodysnatchers meets the Aztecs... And not in a good way most of the time... The acting and effects are good, but it's bizarre, and although the tension is great at times it leaves you wanting more than some acidic ivy that feeds off humans! Original, but a bit ruined...

Well, he definitely left me with a point at the end! Angelina and James are so sexy my groin hurts! The effects are amazing, and the premise is cool. The movie itself is very cool, and full of action... Though, more is Wanted!

It was much better than Bridge to Terabithia in my opinion. Just quite a fun fantasy family flick with a minor dark side. Nothing to really make it stand out more than that unfortunately...

The effects may be phenomenal, and I like the whole thought of a back story to the infamous Terracotta Army, but seriously?! There's taking liberties and taking the piss! Two immortals, the emperor himself suddenly has shape-shifting abilities, Yetis... And a fountain of life?! Was there any need to go this far?!

This is a good fun action movie. Not quite the original three but enjoyable nonetheless... It may have paved the way for a new type of Young Indiana with Shia as well, which I am all for. Weird mix of sci fi and fantasy though!

It's weird, because I started the film wishing it was the real actors... I know the motions and faces pretty much were, but then why go to all that trouble to turn them into near-flawless animation? A story I've wanted on screen for a while and after watching this maybe it wouldn't have been so great another way. Pretty amazing, and a sign of our times.

Talk about an amazingly freaky movie... Very well acted by both! Not exactly the kind of film you want to watch again and again, but really good. Yes, people are going to keep making "Rosemary's Baby" comparisons, and fair enough, but it is a good twisted film with two amazing actors...

I had to watch this movie for nostalgia purposes, and Alf the alien is still as funny as he always was! Rocket the robet is also comedy value in this movie spin off. It's a shame all the human actors weren't so great... Especially MartinSheen as the Colonel who holds Alf completely responsible for his mother's demise. He was pathetic. But if you want some cheap giggles at Alf's humour it's great fun!

If you like to see babes kicking ass then this is definitely for you! Unfortunately it's a lot like the movies for Mortal Kombat and Streetfighter in the fact that it's just not up to scratch. It is very watchable and the fight sequences are great and colourful. The acting can get a bit ropey, but pure entertainment value really!

This movie is just amazing... Watching the deconstruction unfold, and yet proving at the same time that some people really ARE meant to be together. Carrey in what is most likely his best role, and Winslet in one of hers. I love a quirky Kate! It is beautiful, magical, poignant, depressing, and uplifting, and not many movies can say that...

Yes, I knew I was still a die-hard Trekkie. This movie has given me faith again! This has got to be one of the best Sci Fi movies ever made! I was completely impressed with it... Every single second is well done! Chekhov shouldn't really have been in it if we're being accurate to the original series, as the insertion of his character upset Shatner back in the day, but other things were hinted at, and this was a parallel universe where circumstances have changed so I'll forgive it!! MORE PLEASE!! Much more!!

It's definitely weird seeing the characters grow up... You could definitely see there had been a bit of air-brushing on Harry's 5 o'clock shadow! That made me giggle. You know what you're getting with the movies now... Great effects and characterisation. I do think it should have been stretched out believe it or not, but it's lovely to see the romantic interests starting, and is what you'd expect...

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I thought it was going to be far more cheesy than it actually was! Absolutely amazing effects, and constant non-stop action, and good characters. I would have loved an older glassification & making it slightly more gritty and adult, but hey... If you want action then this is your movie. Definitely a film you can lose track of time watching! And the eye candy is always appreciated...

Okay, so it's no wonder people are talking about this movie. It is absolutely beautifully done. I am so glad I finally saw it... It is everything people say & more & that is the truest compliment I can give. Watch it... Now!!

Hmmm... Nicolas Cage is himself yet again... It's a clever movie, but still trying a bit too hard. I agree with some of it, but I would rather my whole family die at ther same time and that quickly to be fair. Random, worth watching, but could have been much better!

Any movie that starts off with Zac Efron with his shirt off gets instant points from me. It was a fun movie. This format has been kinda milked, but it was still pretty good. Worth a watch.

This is a bit like X Men but without the silly costumes! I actually really enjoyed it! Some say it's flawed, but compared to crap like Jumper this is a brilliant sci fi movie, and quite original. I hope there is a sequel, because I love the darkness in this movie, and the bit of history. Definitely one worth checking out for any sci fi fan.

I do love a flawed Superhero! If only this was a cross between Hancock & this it may be perfect! The first half I found confusing at times, but the second half & the characterisation were pretty genius!! I love a good mix up. I hope there is a sequal and they don't screw it around too much!

This was one of the bleakest movies I have ever seen. It was a really interesting concept though, because as everyone becomes blind they become (non flesh-eating) zombies stumbling about. It shines an interesting light on humanity, dependency, and all kinds of human nature. There are times you want to turn away from the film as it is that bleak & you don't think it can get bleaker. A lot of white screen used, and a lot of extremely dark screen used. Clever in someways. Irritating in others. Worth watching, although maybe not owning!

This movie is just so bloody wrong it's right! Definitely an original concept... Vagina Dentata... It's like having a built-in chastity belt! This movie is funny, spiteful, and genius! But as a guy, you will be reaching for your ging gang goolies... Watch it and giggle.

This movie is simply one of the most entertaining of all time. Completely colourful, outrageous, and with fantastic costumes... Who can't relate to that? That's pretty much my life. The confused look on my little sister's face as she asked me questions about it made it even better! I can watch it again and again, if just for the sheer fact that it's Tim Curry at his sheer genius best...

I think this would have been better had I watched it in 3D at the cinema. It's a good movie, and the animation is second to none! It's like the alternative family movie that you aren't really supposed to understand. Maybe an Alice in Wonderland, but on slightly more acid & Magic Mushrooms... Intriguing...

There are so many things you could do with this idea, and so many effects that could be used... I completely drifted during this film because it could have been so much better. Pants.

This was really well done family Sci Fi... Even had a bit of Steam Punk thrown in. It was clever, original, and well worth a watch. With all the glittery movies we have being pumped out, this one was dark and grounded (literally).
