Ratatouille (2007,  G)
Ratatouille 5.0 Stars
Perhaps the best Disney/Pixar in a technical aspect. It has such realistic animation down to the knife cuts on the cutting board and the water stained windows. It is also funny and clever and contains one of the most awesome characters in film - Anton Ego played wonderfully by Peter O'Toole. Ego, with his coffin shaped room and skull typewriter is the critic who challenges Remy, the chef rat, into making something he can like. A delightful cast who you don't recognize in their roles till the credits adds to this masterpiece. Perhaps rats can be more than the evil things they are personified to be. Interesting tidbit is how in the opening scene the lighting lights up a silloutte of Remy with wet hair and red eyes which is remarkably reminiscient of the rat in Walt Disney's Lady and the Tramp at the end. Whether intended or not it was a nice reminder of the first prominant rat in Disney history - and a transfer from scary villian to humorous hero. Great for everyone and technically brilliant this is a must watch - at least once!

Equally as clever and fun as the original. The additional characters are fun and seeing our favorites head out on a big world journey is quite entertaining. Very charming and well done it has a little bit for everyone.

Toy Story (1995,  G)
Toy Story 5.0 Stars
Superb film. As the first full CGI film this one really delivers. A great all-star cast and an incredible story makes this a fantastic classic. This is the Disney/Pixar film that started it all. It was clever to use toys as the characters since it had never really been done before and is what made this a hit. The most original of the Pixar I think besides Monsters, INC.

Cars (2006,  G)
Cars 4.5 Stars
I loved playing with cars when I was little and this movie brings all that to life. The characters are fun and clever and the story is a classic tale. The voice cast is incredible featuring famous actors as well as NASCAR legends. One of Pixars' greats.

Monsters, Inc. (2001,  G)
Monsters, Inc. 4.5 Stars
Perhaps one of Disney/Pixar's most creative and ingenious films along with the Toy Storys. This has not been done in any capacity before and so this clever film adds another notch on Pixar's great films. Crystal is hilarious and Goodman is also enjoyable. I love how Boo has a Jesse doll (Toy Story 2) and a Nemo squeaky toy (before Finding Nemo was even released in theaters!). Great family fun film.

Finding Nemo (2003,  G)
Finding Nemo 4.0 Stars
Good visuals and cast. A little more juvenile feeling compared to the classics like Toy Story; The Incredibles;or Ratatouille. Though it is still fun and classic in its own sense.

A Bug's Life (1998,  G)
A Bug's Life 4.0 Stars
Inventive and fun with laughs by the minute. Enjoyable even if not the best Disney/Pixar - but makes me laugh the most I think. Tons of quips and classic slapstick along with a good message and storyline. Pixar's best pure comedic film.
