Well, my young friend sais we've got to be open minded. Most of these movies wouldn't have come into my attention, but she thinks they're interesting... let's give them a chance. (I listed only what I didn't see, so visit Liz for the entire list).

Milk
Truly entertaining movie. Should have become a comic saga, instead of ambitionating to become a drama.

Låt den Rätte Komma In (Let the Right One in) (2008,  R)
Låt den Rätte Komma In (Let the Right One in)
Was this a vampire movie? We'll have to define the concept... and who's story was it. If this is about Oskar, the lonely kid and his love for the strange girl next door, then it isn't exactly a vampire movie. But it's a sweet young romance in a sort of spooky tense atmosphere. There is, of course, Eli's tale, the vampire plot, but I found that one quite uninteresting: there's no mystery for the viewer, she lives with blood, we know this from the beginning. Only I'm not worried for her, she's able to take care of herself, despite the fact she is only 12 years ... On the other hand, she's a nice vampires, kills just to live ... no conflict at all. Therefore, no, I don't think this was a vampire movie. More like a dream- story of a lonesome soul disturbed by his conflicts with a world he seems not to be included in... Wouldn't have been a surprise to find out in the end that Eli was only the fruit of Oskar's imagination. After all, the whole story is about Oskar.
Watch carefully how the movie opens... Oskar fighting imaginary enemies. And, of nowhere, just from his anger, takes shape a strange creature able to fulfil everything he hasn't been capable (includding the rubik cub).

The Dark Knight (2008,  PG-13)
The Dark Knight
I only have this question: are we supposed to like the Joker that much? Isn't he a villain or anything? He's drog-like, and not just because he's funny or has no respect for rules and things like this... there's something more about this Joker that made me like him, but I can't say what it is. Maybe that's it: the mystery around him.
4
Atonement (2007,  R)
Atonement
Artificial and pointless. The leading actors have no understanding of the soul movements; their gestures are unconvincing, in love, hate or suffering alike. Complete absence of any brilliant lines.
5
Charlie Bartlett (2007,  R)
Charlie Bartlett
If you have a bad day you might want to talk about it. You'll probably feel better. But I recommend you just to sit down and watch this one. This is that kind of movie that makes your day.

The Revengers' Comedies (Sweet Revenge) (2000,  PG-13)
7
Little Miss Sunshine (2006,  R)
Little Miss Sunshine
The movie saves itself with a couple of funny moments and a good ending.
8
Reign Over Me (2007,  R)
Reign Over Me
Perfectly unbalanced between comedy and drama. Like a sample of real life. Touching story. Not so much about losing one's family, how about friendship. Wonderful.
9
The Ring (2002,  PG-13)
The Ring
A little bit random, but good.
10
Disturbia (2007,  PG-13)
Disturbia
Quite enjoyable, if you don't mind the lack of logic. What's Disturbia? A state of mind, or maybe an imaginary realm for those mentally "disturbed" huh?
So it starts really slow, giving you time to accommodate and become interested (or not) in Kale's neighbours' little lives and then suddenly Disturbia is invaded by outsiders and a statement has to be made: the man next door is a serial killer. What comes after that is no more than an accumulation of strange coincidences that would have served only to convince me of the poor man's innocence, if it wasn't his disgusting expression. The part in which the villain is discovered and eventually killed is no doubt very tense and good, but seemingly from a different movie. Oh no! Coincidences all around, it must be from this one.

Stand by Me (1986,  R)
Stand by Me
Quite an adventure, growing up surrounded by friends... conquering the wilderness, discovering yourself and your place in the world and sharing these experiences with your friends...
Everyone who have lived something like this will treasure this story, and who haven't should at least see it in a movie. This one would be the perfect choice. The kids are great, the subthemes harmoniously interweaved, the mystery stands to the end and the narration is quite nice.

This isn't a history lesson and it's not even necessarily about Sparta (and I believe the title stands for my theory).
It's a story for dreamers. You can tell from the poetic narration.
13
Happy Gilmore (1996,  PG-13)
Happy Gilmore
Probably not my kind of humor. Anyway, excessively repetitive.
14
The Mist (2007,  R)
The Mist
Pretty decent monster movie.
An experiment of the army opens the door for some creatures from another dimension which would make Aragog look friendly and the Kraken feel jealous for not having legs. However, the fear and the isolation release more dangerous monsters in the people's minds. Even in those of the best of them. Certainly the idea of putting a bullet in your own head or in the head of someone dear to you, is not one of my favorites. The ending scene spreads the mist and leaves the question: 'Why?'.

I'm sorry but I really don't understand why this movie is a comedy. And I can't find much sense however I would take it.
They might have some fun together, but they take all their decisions arbitrarily and they have no idea where they are going.
If this is the portrait of a certain generation, then the movie succeeded to present it and it's a good movie, but I can't tell you that.
But if it isn't, the whole thing is useless.
43
Step Brothers (2008,  R)
Step Brothers
Disgusting and stupid, impossible to watch. Actually zero stars.
44
Mickey Blue Eyes (1999,  PG-13)
Mickey Blue Eyes
Quite an interesting lack of real emotion in everyone's acting. If that's all right for the Mafia boys, it gets a little weird when it comes to the other characters. They could have used puppets instead of actors, it would have been the same thing.
45
A Walk to Remember (2002,  PG)
A Walk to Remember
This is just perfect for a Sunday school lesson. And as boring as that. If you survive the first 30 minutes you might begin to like it.
Sort of a touching idea, unfortunately exaggerated in a simplistic way and not supported by any acting skills.
46
Once Bitten (1985,  PG-13)
Once Bitten
It was probably meant to be some kind of a parody of a vampire movie, but I totally missed the point... if there is any. Nice coffin collection, anyway.
47
The Machinist (2004,  R)
The Machinist
Remarkable psichological movie. Reznik's almost unreal appearence makes him look stranger than his own unconscious's halucinations. Although it is obvious from the beginning that he has a psychological problem, the details are impossible to figure out before the very end, despite the numerous signs scattered everywhere.
