you haven't guessed already, I can't sing the praises of this movie enough - at last, a zombie flick that is two very important things.

1) Not a B-Movie; 2) An absolutely cracking A-Movie.
Having just got back from the cinema still amazed with the quality of this film I don't know where to begin. The good acting, the spot on cast, the refreshingly unbearable scares, and, the almost uniquely un-Hollywood ending...
It's all there.

Dracula's Daughter (1936,  Unrated)
Dracula's Daughter 5.0 Stars
This belated, weird sequel to the 1931 Lugosi movie, is actually a very interesting film, if a bit imperfect. Director Hillyer (wisely) chooses not to compete with the original movie, and this time around horror is replaced with sensual tension... Horror fans will be entertained !

4.2/5Once again, the Terminator series proves its superior worth over competing action concepts with its emphasis on the human element and a higher level of story consistency.

Pride and Prejudice (2003,  PG)
Pride and Prejudice 5.0 Stars
Jane Austen's tale of love and economics reaches us once more with the energy of a thorough novelty. "Pride and Prejudice" has been a favorite novel of mine since I first read it
The photography, the art direction and the spectacular supporting cast, in particular Donald Sutherland and Brenda Blethyn, makes this new version of a perennial classic a memorable evening at the movies.

Perfect Stranger (2007,  R)
Perfect Stranger 3.0 Stars
This movie did not meet my expectations...
This is a movie that jerks us around simply for the sole fact that it wants to jerk us around. It doesn't want us to figure it out, and it doesn't play fair. The movie stresses time and time again that everyone has dirty secrets, and yes, many secrets are exposed. The problem is almost all of these secrets exist simply to throw us off course. Not one leads to the correct answer. This is just one very uninteresting movie that doesn't even have the nerve to play fair.
