Michael Dudikoff is the only reason that I like to watch him in American Ninja franchise but not with David Bradley.

Mr. Miyagi returns to Okinawa when Danny Larusso (Ralph Macchio) accompanied him to his part of his college savings. They are confronted by Miyagi's old enemy, Sato (Danny Kamekona) since they're old best friends both studied karate under Miyagi's father but they became rivals in a love triangle with the same woman named Yukie (Nobu McCarthy) so, Sato has his nephew Chozen (Yuji Okumoto) . Mr. Miyagi & Daniel are welcomed to Tome village by Yukie & her Niece Kumiko (Tamlyn Tomita). Daniel flirts with Kumiko has her teach him about Japanese culture when Daniel learns new karate styles even more difficult than "Crane Technique" since "Drum Technique. Daniel & Kumiko bond together to like each other: its foundation is both respect, a shared task, and karate. Daniel encourages Kumiko to come to America with him & Mr. Miyagi get back home. Daniel & Kumiko embrace while Miyagi, Sato, Yukie, and the rest of the villagers applaud them from the castle walls.

Mr. Kesuke Miyagi (Pat Morita) travels to Boston to attend a commendation for Japanese American soldiers meets the widow Louisa Pierce (Constance Towers) of his commanding officer named Lieutenant Jack Pierce to meet her Granddaughter Julie Pierce (Hilary Swank) because her parents' death in car accident when she sneaks into the school at night to care for an injured hawk, named Angel keeps in a pigeon coop on the roof.

Julie's caretaker Mr. Miyagi to send to his own house to become his gardener. Miyagi takes Julie to a Buddhist monastery and teaches her Karate lesson. she meets & befriends a kindhearted train-security guard Eric McGowen (Chris Conrad) known as the Alpha Elite by Colonel Dugan (Michael Ironside). Julie asks Eric to feed and water her hawk before leaving for the monastery when Julie learns her lesson: respect for all life; balance; co-ordination; awareness; & some limitability. Eric asks Julie to be his dance partner for upcoming prom @ the sanctuary that Julie can't dance. Mr. Miyagi teaches Julie how to dance when Mr. Miyagi shows Julie a prom dress he has bought for her how he knew her size to attending her prom with Eric.

Mr. Kesuke Miyagi (Pat Morita) & Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) arrive home from their trip to Okinawa, Japan to find that the apartment complex. Daniel asks Mr. Miyagi start a business with him selling bonsai trees "Mr. Miyagi's Little Trees," bonsai shop. Mr. Miyagi tells Daniel could better invest his money for college education when Daniel meets meets Jessica Andrews (Robyn Lively) @ Pottery Store to become friends.

Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) moves with his mother Lucille Larusso (Randee Heller) from Newark, New Jersey to a neighborhood Reseda in the San Fernando Valley after the death of Daniel's father. A kindly/ humble Okinawan immigrant named Mr. Kesuke Miyagi (Pat Morita) is a handyman in their neighborhood.

Daniel & his new friends from school travel to the beach to meet a girl named Ali Mills (Elisabeth Shue) catches Danny's attention. Daniel asks Mr. Miyagi to be his teacher to teach him karate lesso but he refuses. Mr. Miyagi announces Daniel will enter the ?All Valley Karate Tournament?. Mr. Miyagi becomes Daniel's teacher like a surrogate father figure.
