Spider-Man 2 (2004,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 2 5.0 Stars
Greatest Superhero Movie Ever. Although I may be bias. Excellent follow up to the first in any matter and showed me how awesome Doctor Octopus could really be.

Iron Man (2008,  PG-13)
Iron Man 4.5 Stars
Totally awesome. A very worthy addition to the Marvel movie collection ranking up there with the Spider-Man films and X2. Fun and exhilarating while having a well developed plot. Flows wonderfully and does not feel like a 2 hour film at all. The acting is well done and not forced and there is definite chemistry there. I hope they bring the Iron clad Marvel back for another flight.

Very good adaptation by Marvel and well done film also. Develops the Hulk more and introduces the Abomination, the Leader, and Doc Sampson. Exhilarating and action packed fun.

Spider-Man 3 (2007,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 3 4.0 Stars
Maybe not the best in the series but it still contained what the Spider-Man story is all about - characters we know and villians we love to see. Sandman was a film marvel and the scene with him trying to reform himself can only be described as beautiful. The new Goblin worked for me (the weird green power rangers jump suit is gone) and the battles between Harry and Peter are a fanboys dream come true. Venom was cool to see but he acted too much like Carnage with all that weird screaming all the time (too thin too - he's super buff in the comics). Topher Grace performed excellently as Eddie Brock however, and Franco gave a wonderful parting performance. Gwen Stacy was overkill in the adding new characters department. The Black Spidey Suit was mindblowing and awesome - yet they should have focused on it heightoning Peter's aggression, not cockiness. All in all a worthy third in the series - especially if a fourth comes along to continue and bring us out of the depressing feeling we got at the end of the third one. My votes for Mysterio as a villian in #4!

Daredevil (2003,  PG-13)
Daredevil 3.5 Stars
Great superhero movie. It captures the dark feel of reality and makes the character come to life. Elektra could have been a smaller part (it is a Daredevil movie) but it was still fun and worth watching. A more Batman type feel for a Marvel hero.

Enjoyed it more than the first but it lacked some of the solid plot the first had.

A lot of fun and very visual. Blade returned nicely for a third go. The Dracula character was a tad weird though.

Elektra (1989,  PG-13)
Elektra 2.5 Stars
Not as good as the other Marvel films. Suprisingly it focused more on plot than action. A let down but interesting story development with the character.
