These are movies that take a specific theme and make fun of it, usually poking fun at a particular social group and the various personalities within by visual and situational hyperbole.

This is pretty darn funny! Filmed much like the Michael Guest films with their rediculous, yet watered down style, humour and as if it is a reality show, yet this one is British.
Martin Freeman is adorable, but everyone does a great job in this mockumentary about a competition for planning the best most unique wedding and all the stressed that come along with it.

Good times. You can't expect busting a gut, but worth a few knee slaps here and there. :) You gotta love these actors really... I think they are all worthy of an academy award... ;)

The Great Dictator (1940,  G)

Charming, chaotic, dramatic, hilarious! This film is a CLASSIC with a huge message and a lot of slapstick. One of the 7 talkies Charlie Chaplin created, it helped cause him to be kicked out of America... A shame for such a wonderful man! An awesome film :)

A King in New York 4.0 Stars
Like most of his later films, Charlie Chaplin infused the story line with some controversial humour. :) This was produced after Chaplin was exiled from America and not released till 1975 even though it was filmed in 1957. Charming and funny!
